Liam's POV
I heard someone knock on my door. I ignored them, hoping they'd go away. But they didn't. I hear a voice, Annie's voice.
"Liam?" She asked.
"Yeah" I said.
"Can I come in" she asked.
"Why" I said.
She opened the door.
"Stop being so difficult" she joked.
I had to smile. I could never stay mad at her. Even when she crushed me heart, I still can't stay angry with her.
"Why are you in your bathing suit. You're basically naked" I said, looking away and into my pillow. I didn't want to look away though, her body was perfect. Well, perfect to me.
"I literally ran out of the pool to talk to you and I had no time to waste okay" she smiled. It gave me an excuse to look at her.
"Okay, you know... you look really nice" I said.
"Oh um... thanks, but there's an actual reason why I came here" She began
"And what's that" I said trying to hide my smile. And trying my hardest to look at her face, no where else. I had to avoid her eyes though. I just can't handle looking at her eyes, and knowing they're no longer mine.
"I just wanna talk." She said
She came and sat down beside me. I tried to roll onto the other side of the bed, but I ended up rolling off the bed and falling down onto the ground.
"I wanna stay friends with you" she said, while looking over the bed. Her brown eyes seemed to stare into my soul.
"Why did you break up with me?" I had to ask.
"It's a long and complicated story. I guess it didn't feel right. But I'm not even sure. Maybe I might even end up asking you out again, if you still want to date me then" she joked.
"I don't think I'll ever reject you" I said, completely honestly.
"But Liam you gotta know, that there's a lot going on in my life, and our lives." She said.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked.
"You didn't talk to dylan or tyler yet... have you" she said.
"Not about anything big. Maybe just like a 'sup' 'stuff' 'k cool bro'" I joked. "I haven't talked to anyone about anything serious... except for you" I said.
"Well, you really need to talk to them. You're really missing out on a lot." She said.
She got up. As she walked towards the door, she stopped. She started walking back, came right to me, and helped me up.
"thanks" I laughed
She just sighed. In the playful way. And made her way back downstairs.
