Avery's POV
I wake up to the ringing of my phone. I roll over and pick it up.
"Hello?" I ask, looking at the number. It's blocked.
"I'm coming Avery." Someone whispers. Dad. I hang up and delete all my calls from my phone.
"Girls! Get ready! People are coming to adopt today!" I hear Ms. Elly yell from the hall.
I get out of bed and go to my closet. I pull out my green and white dress I wore for Easter and my white sandals. I only wear dresses on holidays, adoption days, and to parties or fancy dinners.
I go into my bathroom and change into my dress and sandals. We each get our own bed, bathroom, and closet, except Jadyn and Jamie. They share a bathroom and Winter got the other one. I brush my hair and put it into my everyday hair style, two french braids. I spray my perfume, brush my teeth, and put my eos on.
I walk out of the bathroom and into the room with the beds. Winter is sitting on the bed playing with her hair.
"Hey Winter." I say.
"Hi." She says, looking down.
"Could you, um, could you do my hair?" She asks me.
"Sure! What hairstyle?" I ask her.
"Two french braids like yours. Emma always did it." She tells me.
"Okay. What are you going to wear?" I ask.
"I don't really know." She says, looking embarrassed.
"We'll pick that out after I'm done." I tell her.
"Okay." She says, a little more cheerful.
I finish her hair and we walk over to her closet.
"It's beautiful. Thank you." She says to me.
"Anytime." I tell her.
We look through her closet and finally decide on a blue and white chevron dress and white sandals. She changes in the bathroom and comes out.
"Beautiful!" I say. She laughs.
"Thanks Avery." She says, hugging me. I nod my head.
Just then, Ms. Elly opens the door.
"Girls, they're here." She tells us.
We look at each other and laugh. Following Ms. Elly downstairs. I look out the window and see a small, gray car pulling in the parking lot. A young woman with brown hair with highlights gets out of the car and goes to the backseat. She comes back out of the doorway with a little boy with blonde hair. Finally, a young man with brown hair gets out of the front seat. I can only see the back of them.
We all get in our line and wait for the visitors. Finally, they turn around. Oh my god. It can't be! It is! It's Daily Bumps! I almost fall to the floor with tears in my eyes. Daily Bumps are coming to adopt at my orphanage. Oh my god.
The doorbell rings and Ms. Elly opens it, greeting the famous YouTubers. Ms. Elly introduces us and they walk over to her desk.
"What gender and age group would you like to adopt from?" She asks them.
"A girl around 10 to 14." Bryan says. I almost faint. That's my age group.
"Girls 9 and younger you can go back to your rooms or you can stay and see who gets adopted." Ms. Elly says. I watch Winter walk away and sit in a seat to watch. She looks sad.
Bryan and Missy go through the girls until finally Bryan says, "I vote her." Missy agrees. I wonder who they picked.
"Oh, Avery!" Ms. Elly says.
Oh. My. God. I am getting adopted by Daily Bumps, my favorite YouTubers in the world.
Oh. My. God.
Bryan's POV
--Earlier that day--
We are all sitting on the white couch looking through orphanages. We are going to adopt a child today. Preferably a girl around the age of 12.
"Missy, ready to go?" I ask her, finding an orphanage that looks good.
"Yeah, let me go wake Ollie up. You head to the car." She says, walking up the stairs.
I nod my head and grab my keys. I turn on the car and a few minutes later, Missy comes out, holding Ollie's hand. They're cute. She buckles Ollie in and gets in the front seat.
"Ready?" I ask. She nods her head.

We pull into a parking spot of the new looking building. Missy gets out while I shut the car off and gets Ollie. We walk in together and a nice young woman greets us.
"Hello, I'm Ms. Elly. You are Bryan, Missy, and Oliver?" She says.
"Yes." I answer her question.
"You can have a seat right over here. What gender and age group would you like to adopt from?" She asks, a smile across her face.
"A girl around 10 to 14." I say. I look around at all of the girls. One stands out to me. She has brown hair and green eyes that match her dress.
"Girls 9 and younger you can go back to your rooms or you can stay and see who gets adopted." Ms. Elly says. I watch all the sad little girls walk over to a big couch and sit down.
"Here's a book of all the girls. Just flip to the age group you want and let me know when you're ready!" She says excitedly.
Me and Missy flip through the 10 year old section. We find nothing we really like. Next, we go to the 11 year olds. Still nothing. Finally, we get to the 12 year olds. As we are flipping through i see the one in the green dress. Her name is Avery.
"I vote her!" I say. Missy nods her head in agreement and Ollie claps his hands. Ms. Elly comes over to see who we have chosen.
"Oh, Avery!" She says. I look over at Avery. Her jaw drops. She is beautiful.
Ms. Elly walks over to Avery and tells her something. I'm guessing it had something to do with getting her stuff because she walked upstairs and came back down with a couple bags.
"Hi I'm Bryan. This is Missy and this is Ollie." I tell her, pointing to each of them.
"I know. I watch your YouTube videos. I'm Avery by the way." She says shyly.
"Oh exciting! I guess you know about this one already then." I say, pointing to Missy's belly.
"Yeah. I'm excited." She says, playing with her hair.
"Well, we should get going. You want to say goodbye to anyone before we go?" I ask her. She just nods and puts her stuff down.
She is absolutely beautiful. I can already tell she's going to fit in well.
Avery's POV
"Well, we should get going. You want to say goodbye to anyone before we go?" Bryan asks. I nod and put my stuff down.
I walk over to the big couch where Madi, Kallie, Jadyn, Jamie, and Sky are sitting.
"Bye girls, I'll miss you so much. We'll see each other again." I say, hugging each one of them.
"Bye Avery." They all say.
I wave bye and walk over to the chair where Winter is sitting.
"Bye Winter." I say, hugging her.
"Bye Avery." She says sadly.
"Here's something to remember me. You'll get adopted very soon. I promise." I tell her, giving her my necklace.
"Thank you. I'll miss you." She says, a tear rolling down her cheek.
"I'll miss you too. Bye Winter." I say, starting to walk away.
"Bye." She whispers back.
I walk back to Bryan and Missy and pick up my things.
"Bye Ms. Elly!" I say, waving goodbye.
"Bye Avery." She says back.
I follow Bryan out of the orphanage, Missy and Ollie following me.
"I'll take your stuff." Bryan says, taking my bags from me.
"Thanks." I say quietly.
Missy buckles Ollie in and climbs in to the front seat. I get into the small, gray car and look at Ollie.
"Hi!" He yells, making us all laugh. He is even cuter in person.
"Hi." I say back to the one and a half year old.
"We are going to need a new car." Missy says.
"Yeah. We won't be able to fit him in the car." Bryan smiles, pointing to Missy's belly.
I didn't know it was a boy!
"It's a boy?" I ask excitedly.
"Yeah. We are posting the gender reveal today." Bryan says.
"Oh okay." I say, smiling at Ollie.
I have a feeling I'm going to be spoiled since I'm the only girl, besides Missy.
I was just adopted by Daily Bumps. Oh my god.
