"So," she says as we enter the room.
I walk into the light.
I face her.
"You found me." She says. Her eyes looks deep into my soul.
"Where's my friends?" I ask.
"Oh, Tenebris is taking good care of them." Aurum moves closer to me.
She's all the way in the light now.
Her hair went from gold to black and she now wears long black robes. Her face is pale.
"What happened to you?"
"This is the true me." She says. She takes out her wand. "Now, let's fight."
She sends a killing curse at me.
I jump the other way and fall to the ground. James steps back into the darkness.
I get my wand and sent a blast of purple fire at her.
She soaks it up and sends black fire back at me.
I pit up a wall of water in front of me.
She looks down at me. "Poor you."
She sends fire out of her wand and onto my arm.
It burns.
I get up and shoot ice crystals at her.
The sharpness of one cuts her cheek.
She holds her hand to her face.
"You little..."
She sends another Killing curse at me.
I duck.
I hear a James sigh from behind me.
"What's wrong?!" I say as I turn around.
James stands there, eyes glossy.
He starts to fall to the ground.
"No!" I scream.
Aurum comes up behind me and laughs.
"Sorry about your boyfriend."
He's dead.
James is dead.
She killed him.
She did this.
She was our friend.
I turn around and send a killing curse right at her head.
It doesn't miss.
"Sorry about your life. That was for James." I say. "And this..."
I walk over to her dead body and take her wand.
I snap it in half.
"...is for my friends."

I search the apartment.
"Solis!" I yell, "Magicae! Lignum!"
"Help!" I hear from above me.
They must be in the next room up.
I do a spell that makes me able to pass through solid objects and climb up through the ceiling.
"Margo!" Magicae screams from one corner.
"Margo!" Musca yells from the opposite corner.
They are all tied up in different sections on the wall.
Tenebris stands in the middle of the empty room.
"Welcome, Margo." He says.
"Let them go." I say.
"Well, I want to put on a show for them first." He says.
He shoots a killing curse at me.
I duck.
It hits the wall.
I send one at him. He dodges it.
"You can do better than that." He says. "Aim here." He points to his heart.
I do.
He again dodges the blast of green light.
I curse under my breath.
Again, I aim right for his heart.
This time, he catches the curse and sends it back at me.
It doesn't miss.

"Margo!" I yell.
I sink to my knees.
I can't believe he just killed her.
She's dead.
