Running around
Slow children at play
"Yeild," I shout.
"The coke is too much!"
I bang my head against the wall
and a colorful fountain
Springs from my head
and tiny, little green unicorns
Dance around while
Faries of blues and reds
Ride tiny dragons that
are yellow and purple.
"Your soul!" they scream.
"Give it to us and
We'll sell it to the great Elmo!"
"No," I sing playfully
and a leprecahn in a speedo
Crashes through the roof
and kicks my shin
and I cough up
A rainbow-bleeding orb
and he yells, "Get lost"
and runs off with it
And the faries giggle and
Fly away on their dragons
and the unicorns prance
away to the toilet and
Flush themselves down
and leave me be:
Exausted and
Out of cocaine.
