I was so excited but I couldn't tell anyone about the arrangement. I went back to campus and started packing. My friend Brie came to my room and was shocked to see me moving out. She needed an explanation because this was my closest friend. She has been my friend since middle school. Me and Brie were closer than sisters. We have seen each other through good times and horrible times.
I told her a little bit of the truth. "It's been a hard time on me since my parents died and I have been so busy the past three years. I decided to take a much needed break. Plus I lost my financial aid and absolutely cannot work and keep my grades up."
She said, "I really wish I could find a way to make you stay but I know you have made a final decision."
I just shrugged and let her tell me about her latest date or outing. In no time I was almost done packing then we went to a nice little bar to eat and have a drink.
The next morning I was already withdrawn and had half of my boxes packed in the car before I received a call from Michael. He had a couple of men come and finish with my boxes.
Then I followed the all black SUV to my new temporary residence. I expected to stay in a guest house or a rental that was close. But I followed the SUV all the way to Neverland Ranch.
I was so nervous I couldn't get myself together enough to figure out what needed to be brought in from my car. Dave, the body guard, was waiting for me by the time I got out. He was instructed to bring in my belongings while I met with Storm to get a tour of my living quarters.
I was so amazed by the beauty of Neverland and took a minute to enjoy the scenery. The early March weather was perfect and the light breeze just intensified my senses. I felt instantly calmed and relaxed a little.
