I woke up the next day to a beam of light shining through my eyelids. I slowly peel open my eyes to see my light blue curtains had a very small opening in them that let light shine through and directly into my eyes where I was sleeping. I groan as I get out of my comfy bed and move to close my curtains, but tripping over my bag that I forgot to put away yesterday in the process. I let out a scream as my hands catch my body before my face hits the ground and my eyes open really wide.

'Well, I'm awake now.' I thought. I lift my hand up and I grab onto the edge of the bed to help pull my clumsy ass off the ground. I look around and everything around me was a blurry mess. I forgot that I didn't have my glasses because they were broken and I didn't sleep in my contacts because I've heard enough horror stories about how that ends up.

I rummage through the smaller boxes of my stuff and after 15 minutes of searching I still couldn't find my spare pair of glasses. I always save my older glasses in case something like this happens. I search the last small box and of course they were in there at the very bottom in their case. You always find the things you need in the last place you look for them. I take the case in my hand and I grab the first shirt and pair of pants I see in the first big box I open. I head to the small shower attached to the bedroom and strip off my clothes that I didn't change from the other day.

I clean up in the steamy shower and dry off quickly. I change into a black tank top with a blue sleeveless flannel over it and dark blue skinny jeans. Before I leave my room, I hook the necklace Luke gave me around my neck and adjust it so it's facing forward. I walk out of the bathroom and pass my clock on the nightstand by my bed to see it's 11 o'clock.

"I'm up earlier than usual today." I say to myself out loud. Knowing McKayla won't be up for another hour, I leave my room start to make breakfast, well more brunch actually, for myself and her when she gets up. I grab everything I need from her pantry and fridge and make simple bacon and scrambled eggs. The second I start cooking the bacon, I hear a door open up and out walks a freshened up McKayla. Her short hair, except for her fringe, was combed out and seemed freshly dyed, fuchsia to be exact. The hair color faded from the water of her shower. Her tan skin was smooth looking and I think she lost a little weight while I was gone because her curves seemed slightly less round. Her curves were definitely still there and they weren't going to be gone any time soon, but I prefer her with them because it gives her character. She walks out in a sports bra and a pair of boxers she got from her slightly younger brother.

"Hey, get your ass over here and grab your breakfast before I eat it." I say, serving her bacon and eggs on one of her plates I grabbed from her kitchen.

"I love how you say 'before I eat it' when most people would say 'before it gets cold.' I'm not complaining though because I've missed your home cooking." She says back to me, sitting down at the kitchen island to grab her plate of food.

"That's the only reason you missed me. Just because I made you food all the time." I sit in the vacant seat next to her with my food on my own plate.

"So," Mckayla starts, "after we're done with your delicious food, we're going shopping."

"Woah woah woah," I put down my fork and look at her knowing that she knows that I don't like going shopping. "I'm sorry, did you say shopping?"

"Yep, and I'm dragging you along because we're going shopping for something specific, for me and you, but mostly you."

"What could I possibly need? I just got here yesterday for Christ's sake." She looks me in the eyes and smirks before saying, "Lingerie."

"I'm sorry say WHAT?!" I shout staring at her in disbelief.

"I'm not saying it again. You heard me and that's what we're going to do."

"Why do I, of all people, need lingerie?! Again, I just got off the damn plane yesterday."

"Because tonight we're going clubbing and since you're coming along, might as well look good outside and under the clothes."

"But, I don't want to get a hookup to forget about Luke. And don't even argue against me cause I know that's exactly why you want me to get some. I want to move on over time and not because some dude, who for all we know could be an absolute creep, had sex with me. Plus, I told you I want to lose my virginity to someone I love and care about, not an absolute stranger who, if I'm lucky, will be gone in the morning."

"Well, this'll give you just a little more confidence. Even if you're not gonna grab a hookup, I will so I won't be here later tonight or in the morning. Argue all you will, we're going." I let out an annoyed sigh and finish eating my breakfast. There really is no point in arguing because once McKayla makes up her mind, there's no going back.

Once we finishes our food, McKayla gets dressed in a simple gray v-neck and blue jeans before putting on her black Vans and I put on my black and white converse. We grab our wallets which hold our money, phone, keys, and drivers license and head out to the apartments' garage. I look around for our mode of transportation, but before I could get the chance to play 'where's our ride?', McKayla pulls out the keys and hits a button that gives off a signal to it. I hear the beep and run over to where it's parked.

Once I reach the parking spot, I smile and see that our beloved motorcycle is in perfect condition still. Yes, we have a motorcycle. Originally, it was just a simple two seated black Harley Davidson my dad was working on, but since my dad was a mechanic for cars and motorcycles, he taught me a thing or two about remodeling and customizing. So now the bike was a dark blue, almost black, with a white skull with electric blue flames on one side and on the other side was my band's symbol. The reason my dad was working on it was because one of his customers brought it in since it was broken and he said that if my dad could fix it up and get it working again then he could have it. So, instead of getting me a car for my birthday, he gave me the two wheeler.

"I see you treated her well while I was gone." I say while running my hand over the seat.

"I kinda had to, since I had to use her to get around anywhere and everywhere. Hasn't even been scratched." I look the bike over and see that she wasn't lying. It was still in the perfect condition I left it in.

"So, are we going for a ride or what?" I look around for our helmets, eventually finding them behind an abandoned car that we always hid them behind. I toss her her helmet which was a darkish purple and I jump on my bike.

"Well, let's ride." I say, revving up the engine and getting used to the feel of it running again. Once I get it going strong, I put on my own helmet which was the same dark blue as my bike and tell her to get on.

"Sorry but, I won't be riding on your bike anymore."

"Why not?" I ask confused. "You always ride on the back."

"Because, I have a bike of my own now."

"What?! No way! Since when?"

"I got it for my birthday in November. My grandparents bought it for me since I'm there special little grandchild. It just recently got shipped over, so I've only ridden it a few times."

"Well, then you better keep up with me cause I'm not slowing down for your ass."

"Wasn't planning on it."

"Where is it anyways?"

"It's closer to the back of the garage. I'll meet ya by the exit." She then takes her helmet and jogs over in the direction of the back of the car holding garage. Once she's out of my sight, I pull my motorcycle off of its kickstand and drive it slowly to the exit of the garage. Once I reach the opening, I hear another engine roaring behind me. When I look back behind me, I see another motorcycle drive up next to me with none other than Kayla riding on it.

It was a vibrant red color that faded into an orange, kinda like a flame does. Her purple helmet clashed with the bike, but knowing her she didn't really care much for the color matching. I nodded to her and she nodded back signaling that it was okay for me to start riding. I rev up my engine again and drive out of the exit way and onto the streets in the direction of our one and only good mall.

After we got to the mall and parked our bikes, McKayla immediately pulled me into Victoria Secret and right after that Fredrick's, which were both lingerie stores. Afterwards we ran into Hot Topic, a makeup store, and a few other places to get a bunch of shit. We got dark blue hair dye, a mid drift leather jacket, of course a few stupid pairs of lingerie that were definitely not the most comfortable things ever, a pair of denim booty shorts, and a dark red crop top. I basically got everything for tonight at the club and I didn't even have to pay for any of it, well except for the leather jacket. McKayla knew people at all of the stores or was able to seduce her way into getting discounts. Hey, if it works then I have nothing against it.

We got back home and the second I stepped in the door, I ran to my bedroom and locked myself in there. It was 6 in the evening and knowing McKayla, she was going to take hours to get her hair ready and her makeup done and all that jazz. She is not going to sit me down and make me up into a Barbie doll. I will not allow it. To fill time, I started putting my hair dye in by myself because I wanted to dye my whole head for a while and now I have enough dye to do it. Dark blue hair here I come.

A couple hours later, my hair has been washed and dried enough to the point where I could run my fingers through it and it only be damp. Thankfully the color came out nice and full. I left my room with a towel draped around my neck and started making dinner for both of us.

After dinner, it was 10 at night and now was the time for me to get ready. I changed into my crop top and denim booty shorts that barely covered my ass that Kayla bought for me. I combed my freshly dyed hair which was now fully dry and very soft and had McKayla put on my makeup because I'm not really good at putting on fancy makeup for special events. I usually only put on a few basic things. I put on my mid drift leather jacket and as I'm zipping up my combat boots and slipping on wrist bands McKayla stops me.

"Why are you wearing that?" I look down at my outfit and try to figure out what is out of place. Everything that I had on was what we bought today so I was very confused as to what she was asking about.

"What? I'm wearing everything we bought today. That was kinda the reason you dragged me out there."

"Yeah, but you're wearing something else." She points her finger up at my chest since she was a little shorter than me and I look down to see Luke's necklace still resting below my collarbone.

"That has to go."

"What, why?"

"Because if you have his necklace on then you won't be able to forget about him. Just take it off and leave it on the counter."

"It's my gift, I should be able to wear it if I want to."

"Look, it's only for one night. You can put it back on the second we get back home."

"Fine." I sigh in annoyance. I reach behind my hair and unclasp the hook, setting the necklace down on the counter. I finish getting my bands on my wrists, Green Day, Nirvana, All Time Low, and Good Charlotte, and zip up my combat boots. We grab our wallets, keys, and phones and head out to our separate motorcycles. This time, McKayla leads the way to whatever club we're going to.

When we get there, we park our bikes in the front of the parking lot. I park in the spot right next to McKayla and take off my helmet, shaking my hair out once it's off. I comb the frizzy mess down with my fingers to help get the knots from the helmet out. I climb off my bike and look at the front entrance of the club where young adults were entering and leaving before setting my helmet down on the seat. McKayla comes up behind me and tells me, "Follow me. I know a guy here."

I follow her to the back of the building and she knocks on the back door twice and then three times. The door swings open and out steps a guy covered in tattoos and a few piercings. He had short black hair and cocoa brown skin with brown almost black eyes. He was a little bit taller than I was with very broad shoulders. He had on a white v-neck with a grey denim vest over it with the sleeves looking like they were ripped off. He also wore skin tight jeans with a chain hanging off two of the belt loops and a pair of black Vans to go with them. He steps aside and smiles at us as we enter the building through the back door. I look around skeptically and see the place was only half filled and there was actually pretty good music playing.

"What is this place? It's definitely not a normal club."

"This," she swings her arms out to gesture to the whole area, "is what I like to call, the secret club."

"Original name." I say sarcastically, "So, why are we allowed in here?"

"I may or may not have slept with the guy who runs this place and I may or may not have learned the secret knock to get in here."

"Leave it to you to get even more benefits when sleeping with a guy." I step towards the bar while McKayla goes and talks to some people who she may or may not know.

"You got vodka?" I ask the bartender while sitting down at one of the bar stools.

"Yep, what do you want it mixed with?"

"You got Coke?"

"Coming right up." I look around to see sweaty bodies dancing to the music playing, people on the leather couches talking to each other and of course the few couples in the corners making out and groping each other freely. I turn back around to see the bartender put the shot down in front of me. I take it and shot it down fast, slamming the shot glass back down on the counter.

"Hit me again." I take 2 more shots before taking it easier and order a Shirley Temple.

It's been about half an hour and I've done nothing but sit on a barstool, watch people bump and grind on each other, and chit chat with the bartender. I take a sip of my drink before I feel a hand on my back. I set the drink down carefully on the counter before turning around and meeting the eyes of a lustful McKayla.

"Hey, I'm heading out with Jack." She tells me with a flirty giggle.

"Who's Ja-you know what never mind. I'll see you at the apartment tomorrow." I know the drill. She'd do this all the time whenever we went out. I'd stay off to the side while she traveled around the whole club and she'd end up getting a hookup. Not even 5 minutes after she leaves, I usually decide to go as well. I mean, who wants to be around a bunch of hormonal and sweaty people alone. I certainly don't.

"Alright, get home safe."

"Yeah, you too. Remember to use a condom."

"Do I ever leave without one?" She turns towards the exit and grabs a random guys arm, leaving the club.

"You've gotta be kidding me." I mumble to myself. I turn back around and take another sip of my drink before deciding to chug the rest down. After a minute or so, my head starts to feel a little light and my body starts to lose its balance.

"Ma'am, are you okay?" Asks the bartender.

"I...I think so. I'm just a little...little light headed." I answer back trying to form a working sentence.

"Ma'am, are you by any chance a light weight?"

"No, no I'm actually not. I'm not a heavy weight, but I'm definitely not a light weight. What'd you put in my Shirley?"

"Nothing ma'am, I made it the way it was supposed to be, nothing extra. Do you want me to call a cab?" My vision at this point begins to blur and my hearing starts to go in and out. Eventually, my vision goes fully black and I pass out, landing on something soft before going completely unconscious.
