The kid that ran away got caught and was executed they made the other kids see what will happen if you run away. All of them were afraid but poor Waleed was the most. The commander told his soldiers to put them in their room five kids for a room. Next day a soldier gave them guns but Waleed wasn't strong and thin the gun fell from his hand because it was too heavy for him so the soldier shouted at him he tried to explain but the soldier didn't let Waleed to explain so he gave him a harder thing to do as a punishment for a disrespectful behave. He needed to carry all the guns after they finish. He was sad and miserable. All his friends got used to this but he didn't. They trained the kids for couple of months and then they went to the battle field Waleed was the only one who survived because he started crying and a Iraqy soldier saw him and told him to pretend him self getting killed so the other soldiers won't kill him.
