I woke up the next morning, snuggled in my new comforter. I exhaled in joy and sat up. All my thoughts from the night bridge came rushing back and I looked around me hurriedly. Wa sit all just a dream or was Dallan actually her yesterday? And did I actually have my first kiss?!? I heard the click of my door being open before I saw anyone. I turned to my door and was happy to see Mrs. Reed walk in with her clipboard. That meant I was actually doing stuff today.
"Good morning Ady,"
"Morning."
"Did you sleep well?" She asked kind of rushed and excited.
"Yeah. I did. What's got you all excited this morning?" I asked her.
"How about you get dressed first and then I'll tell you?" I simply shrugged and focused on getting of of my bed. I don't even remember getting into bed last night. The last thing I remember is sitting outside with Dallan. I got dressed quickly in booty shorts and an off the shoulder shirt that showed the sleeve of my sports bra on underneath. I put my hair up into a messy bun as I was to lazy to do anything cute with it. I rolled out of my bathroom dressed and ready to go. But what I saw in my room made me stop immediately. Standing by my window was Dallan. And he looked hot. He wore dark jeans and a leather jacket. When he turned around I could see his defined muscles through his tight shirt, it made me feel things in my stomach. Butterflies?
"Morning." He said to me.
"Morning." I said, kind of out of breath just from looking at him. I saw his eyes wander over my body and then he looked in my eyes. His eyes seemed darker than I remembered. I heard shoes approach us and I turned back to my door, where Mrs. Reed entered for the second time that day.
"You ready Ady?" She asked sounding excited again.
"For what exactly?" I was really confused. Wasn't I just gonna go to physical therapy?
"A sponsor donated early this morning under your category of interest. The board has decided to invest the money into getting you a prosthetic leg." My breath literally stopped. The room was completely quiet until Mrs. Reed continued talking. "We're going to see if there is a prosthetic that already fits your body and/ or get you measurements. Your gonna walk out of here soon Ady." Tears burst from my eyes. I felt hands on my back and relaxed into them. Dallan came in front of me and held my hand gently. I pulled him into a tight hug and sobbed my eyes out. I was so happy! I finally got control of the waterworks and pulled away from Dallan who had a smile on his face.
"What are we waiting for?!? Let's go!" I yelled out before I pushed my wheel chair towards the door. I heard laughs behind me but I didn't care. I was so excited and overjoyed. Nothing can bring me down today! Mrs. Reed led me to a workspace on a different floor and we automatically went inside. The doctor helped me up onto the table and I swear I heard a growl from Dallan, but I ignored it.
"Alright. So a prosthetic leg? You sure you don't want an arm?" He asked me jokingly. I just shook my head immediately and he laughed. "Someone's a little excited."
"She's been waiting for months." Mrs. Reed said.
"Ah. Well then, let's see what we have for you." He measured my leg stumps width and length and measured up my leg and measured my hips. He then left the room to see if he had any that fit. He was gone for less then 5 minutes. But it seemed like forever. Dallan came over and took my hand and gave it a light squeeze. I squeezed back but continued to stare down the door. When I heard footsteps approaching I squeezed the life out of dallans hand. The doctor, which I learned his name was Doctor west, poked his head inside with a huge smile. He then continued his way inside and in his hands was a leg. I let out the air I was holding and relaxed my hold on dallans hand. He came over and informed me on how to put it on and continues to help me put it on. "It's a perfect fit." He said.
"Thank you so much." I said holding back my tears.
"You're welcome. You really need
To take it easy on it though. I want at least a month of physical therapy to get you use to it." I nodded. Dr. West went to Mrs. Reed and talked about specifics. I got off the table and carefully put weight onto my leg that I haven't used in many months. It felt so good to have pressure there after it just hanging around. Dallan had his hand on my back just in case I fell. I took a step and my leg slightly have out. Dallan caught me before I could fall. He then wrapped his arms around me from behind and held my hands in his. I tried to walk again and did a lot better with Dallan holding some of my weight. Mrs. Reed saw us and excused her self from dr. West.
"Dallan... Can you help Ady get to physical therapy? I'll meet you guys at the room when you're done." Mrs. Reed asked her grandson.
"Sure." Dallan told his grandma. He then helped me out into the hall. We walked down the hall to the empty waiting elevator and got in. As soon as the door closed, Dallan turned me around and pressed me into the wall. I was shocked to say the least, but it pleases me more then scared me. "You sure do know how to tempt me" he whispered in my ear.
"What do you mean?" I asked breathlessly, as I felt his breath on my neck. Dallan moved his face from the crook of my neck to my shoulder and kissed it, right next to my bra strap. He continued the kiss up my neck to right next to my ear.
"Isn't it obvious? You're beautiful and you're tempting me along with all the other guys with your body." He said as his trailed his nose down my neck to where my neck met my shoulder. I was a puddle of goo at that point.
"I'm not beautiful." I stated. He growled in anger. What the heck was with the growling?
"You're the most beautiful person I have laid my eyes on. And so strong... and so brave... And so tempting..." With each reason he gave me a peck on the lips.
The elevator dinged announcing our arrival to the floor. Dallan pulled away from me, leaving me in a state of confusion and want. He turned me around and helped me walk, though I was starting to get a hang of it again and could walk faster and I bet if Dallan let go of me I could walk farther by myself. We arrived at my therapy room and I got started on getting stronger. During my exercises
I decided to play with Dallan. One of my exercises involved balancing on both legs and leaning over to make a 90 degree angle with the floor and wall. I held onto a bar along the wall, it was kind of like what a ballerina would use. I leaned over very slowly and would stick my butt out more than needed. I knew Dallan was watching me, so I used it to my advantage and my clothes were helping a ton. My doctors were astounded that I was able to do all the exercises with ease. They didn't really know what else for me to try with out pushing the boundaries. I really wanted to run again and I kept telling them, but they didn't want me to push myself to hard on my first day. By the end of therapy I was tired and my muscles in my legs ached. It was a good small workout. Dallan held my hand on the way back to my room. But before we got there I spotted a storage closet. I got an index and pulled Dallan into the closet before I could change my mind. As son as the door closed I pushed Dallan into the wall and started kissing him deeply. Dallan was super shocked and didn't even react until I put my hands at the bottom of his shirt and pushed them up to land on his abs. He grabbed my waist hard and brought me into his body more. He depended the kiss and I let out a moan. I stopped the kiss and his my face in his shirt. I was so embarrassed that sound came out of my mouth. Dallan chuckled and put his fingers under my face. Though it was dark in the closet I bet her could see my red cheeks.
"Don't be embarrassed." He whispered in my ear. "I liked it." I kissed him deeply again and lifted my prosthetic leg up onto his hip and then jumped with my other leg to end up straddling him. Dallan let out a small groan and I found my self drowning in it. It was sexy. I pulled at his hair with my fingers mad it brought out another groan from him. He turned and pushed me into the wall suddenly. I let out a gasp in shock and he pushed himself closer to my body. I moaned but instead of embarrassment, I kissed Dallan harder. Dallan left my mouth and kissed down my neck. He start d to heavily kiss my neck right where it met my shoulder and I let out a loud moan. I felt dallans tongue sweep across my skin and my hormones went even crazier. I pulled him into me and I refused to let go. I suddenly felt something cool and sharp against my skin. Before I could even imagine what was going on I felt a sharp pain in my neck. I let out a small whimper but it was quickly replaced with more pleasure then before. I moaned out again and pulled dallans mouth back to mine. We kissed for a long time before it started to go in another direction. But before either one of us could go farther the closet door opened. And at the door was Mrs. Reed looking extremely angry.
"Ady's room now." She said angrily through her teeth. Dallan immediately set me down, but carefully. Mrs. Reed was glaring at us, so Dallan didn't even attempt to hold my hand. It made me sad but I understood. So instead I slowly walked next to them until we made it into my room. "Dallan... Hall. Now" he gave me a guilty look as he left and I couldn't help but feel bad for him. This was my fault in the first place. I was the one who pushed him into the closet. I sat on my bed and tried very hard not to listen to what was sharpening in the hall. Which was very hard because they were yelling and Mrs. Reed was saying some choice words. I went into the bathroom and when I looked in the mirror I screamed. Mrs. Reed and Dallon immediately came into check on me.
"What's wrong?" Dallon asked, coming closer to me. I backed away from him.
"You bit me!"
"He did what?" Mrs. Reed yelled at Dallan. Dallan just growled at her. Okay. Defined growled.
"What are you?" I asked him. He looked shocked by my question.
"What--?"
"You freaking growled and you bit me! What the heck are you?" I was near hysterics.
"Ady... Calm down."
"Don't tell me to freakin calm down!" I screamed at him. He took a deep breath and started to pace my room.
"Werewolf." He said very quietly. Almost too quiet for me to hear.
"What was that?" I asked, slightly angry.
"I'm a werewolf." He said, turning to face me. That's the last thing I remember because the next thing I see is blackness.
