Adam was making breakfast when he heard a knock in his door. Coming to open it he found Christina standing on his porch. She was smiling and it seemed part of her was feeling happy. This sight, her rose lips curled up in wonderful smile, warmed his heart instantly.

“Hey. What are you doing here so early?” Adam asked letting her in.

“Well, I could come to you at 2am but I thought it would be better to wait till the morning” Christina smiled lightly.

“What happened?” Adam asked curiously. Coming from Christina’s mood he knew it was something good. And knowing her state he knew it was truly great.

“You” Christina said sweetly still keeping a smiled on her face.

“Me?” Adam asked surprised. ‘At 2 am?” Adam chuckled making Christina follow his laughter.

“I mean your words” Christina fixed herself.

“And what about my words?”

Christina tried to form the right way of saying it as she just simply said. “I need your help”

“Ok” Adam said trying to follow her thoughts as she passed him giving him a sign to follow her. Adam moved back to his old house so she knew the place perfectly. She headed to the room where the piano was situated.

“Play for me please” she said. Her smile disappeared as her face now was serious.

Adam agreed. He sat to the piano ready to play for her. “Which song?”

“Just follow my voice” she smiled slightly as she took her notebook out of her purse. Of course she knew the lyrics but she felt more comfortable with seeing the words in front of her.

Slowly she started singing “You’re too far away from my side. But never leave inside of my heart” Before this moment these words were just on the paper and now they were getting into life. And it was harder for her than she expected. But she continued singing trying not to get into tears. With each words she was cracking more and more but she was continuing singing trying not to break “…Those little arms go round my neck. That tiny smile on your wonderful face” Refrain was the hardest thing for her as it embraced happy memories of Max. And every time Christina was remembering them her heart was sinking deep as tears started covering her eyes. It was getting impossible to sing “Your heart beat in sync with mine. But yours on the sky….” She broke on the middle of line as tears rolled down her face.Instantly Adam stopped playing taking Christina in his embrace.

Being completely distracted, too concentrated in the song, she didn’t notice that she made Adam teary too. He squeezed her tight in his embrace trying to show all possible support. He knew she needed it now, especially with this song. She let salt water come from her eyes for a couple of minutes when she finally got to calm herself down.

“This is harder than I thought” Christina sighed as she finally could talk.

“I understand” Adam said letting Christina go and sitting back to the piano. “Continue” he whispered.

“I can’t” Christina refused. It seemed impossible to her even take a single note.

“Yes, you can” Adam reassured her. “Let it out. Sing it out”

Christina nodded as Adam started playing. But Christina needed a couple of minutes before starting to sing again. Adam was just playing waiting when Christina would start singing. This time she got to hold till the end of the song. “Your heart beat in sync with mine. But yours on the sky and mine downside.” Last words of the song, last time she needed to pronounce it. Everytime she sang them out loud she could feel her heart ache. “I will always love you” she read in a whisper.

Adam looked in Christina’s eyes that were full of tears. She looked back in his and she could witness tears rolling down his face.

“That was amazing song” Adam whispered getting up to Christina and taking her in a light hug. “Exactly what I was missing from you”

“Emotional?”

“Perfect” he smiled. Adam made a deep sigh before taking the conversation seriously. “Yesterday when I came to your house I didn’t realize it… I used to spend time with you. You only. I rarely saw him. But now. With your song… I realize it… I’m so sorry Christina” The stood quietly for some time before Adam asked “Are you hungry?”

“Yeah. I didn’t get to have a breakfast” Christina smiled, tears still sparking on her eyes. This song brought up all the heart aching feelings but at the same time it let out all those hurting emotions making her feel better.

They went to the kitchen where Adam made toasts for her. Christina wasn’t much talkative as she was still feeling moody because of the song.

“You feel better?” Adam asked in a while.

“Kind of” Christina said thoughtfully. “I feel better on inside. It feels good to let it out. But it was too much pain to sing”

Adam nodded slightly understandingly. “So are you planning on making the album?” he continued after a minute trying to improve Christina’s mood.

“If I write an album it will be the saddest album ever” Christina smiled.

“So what?”

Christina gave a little chuckle. “I think I leave these songs for myself. They are too personal”

“I do remember personal songs in your albums”

“It was easier” Christina sighed.

“No it wasn’t”

Christina knew it was the truth. “I’m not… I’m not ready to record it. Anything yet”

“I’m not saying you have to do it now” Adam whispered. He looked at Christina once more before he stood up from his place and wrapped her in his arms. He just couldn’t watch her like that. She was broken. Again. He made her. But he knew it was for the best. Maybe she was sad right now but in overall she felt much better. “Ok now we better vanish this sad face “Adam smiled letting her go.

“Ready to listen how” Christina smiled interested in what was on Adam’s mind. She wanted to smile and laugh with him more than anything. She was tired of this depressing mood. She needed to feel happy. She was far from it. Very far. But at least she was on its way. With his help.

“Don’t know yet” Adam smiled. “But I’ll find out something. Finish your toast first”

“Ice rink?” Christina asked as they came onto the rink.

“Not working ice rink” Adam noticed. It was empty. It was just two of them here. “It is closed for a week. But I got to make them let us in”

“Why I don’t find it as a great idea?” Christina said hesitatingly.

“Because you’re still in your shoes.”

“You think when I put skates on would be better?”

“Would be so much funnier” Adam grinned.

“So awkward” she fixed but couldn’t help but smile too. “Hope you know how to do it because you would need to hold me”

“Don’t worry. I’ll be with you” Adam smiled as he led Christina to take on the skates. He gently put ones on her and then on himself. Then he stood up helping Christina that was barely keeping her balance. He put his arm around her helping to come to skate rink. But there her balance just got worse. She started to fall as Adam caught her in his arms holding her tight. “Yeah, that’s hilarious” he giggled watching Christina. She punched him lightly but then got back to him grabbing his waist. Without Adam she was barely standing. “Ok, let me learn you” Adam smiled as he gently pulled Christina sliding on him. In some time she finally learned how to stand and slide.

Once he was sure she could already slide a little without losing her balance he pulled her sharply toward him gaining speed fast. Christina’s screams went all over the rink which was followed by laugh of both of them.

“You’re crazy” She said trying to hold her laugh down as he caught her in his arms when they bumped into the wall.

“My purpose to be as crazy as possible for you” Adam smiled making Christina giggle with adorable laughter. He pulled her again but this time slightly sliding along the rink. He never let her hand go. And she wouldn’t let him as she was too scared to fall if she lost his touch.

Adam continued spinning her around over and over again making her lose her balance and falling into his arms. But he never let her fall on the cold ice.

“I’m tired” Christina whispered in some time falling into Adam’s embrace one again. But this time she didn’t pull away to stand back on skates. She actually was tired.

“Then let’s go” Adam said caringly stroking Christina’s hair lightly. He led her out of the rink and gently took off her skates massaging her legs lightly.

“You’re treating me like a queen” Christina grinned.

“I thought you were a queen” he smirked looking up to her face seeing her pretty smile. “Well, you are my queen today”

Christina couldn’t help but smile at cuteness of Adam. He was so kind to her and he continued making her laugh. He was the best cure she could ever ask for. And she was so lucky to have him now. To feel his care.

“So what now?” she whispered as they got ready to walk away.

“Another surprise” Adam smiled.

“Hope it involves eating because I’m starving” Christina smiled.

“Yes, it does” Adam smiled.

They have been skating for very long period of time. It was already 4pm when they came out of skating rink. No surprise they both were tired and hungry.

“Somehow I already don’t like what is on your mind” Christina said seeing where they came in. It was a karaoke bar. And she could already imagine what his plan was. And she totally didn’t want to sing here.

“Relax! It’s gonna be fun!” Adam smiled. He pushed her towards the table and made her sit as they were brought a menu.

At first they were just talking and eating. It wasn’t many people in the bar yet. And, well, Christina had her cap and sunglasses so it was hard to recognize her. So they could calmly enjoy each other’s company.

With time more people were coming and more people were getting on stage to sing. Adam and Christina discussed every performances and quietly giggled at failing ones.

After they finished the meal they listened to couple more songs. Then Adam woke up from his place and pulled Christina towards the stage. “Now it’s our turn” he smirked. “Yours to be exact”

“No!” she moaned but he ignored it. He pulled her to the stage holding her hands tight not letting her to run away. He left Christina in the middle of the stage as he went to the guy who was putting songs on play. She was facing her back to the public as she was following Adam’s actions backstage.

In a minute he turned back to her. “This is gonna be fun” he smirked. “But first we need to remove this” Adam said taking off her cap and sunglasses. “That’s better” he said fixing her hair. “Now you’re ready to sing”

“I’ll kill you” Christina muttered before the song started playing.

Christina immediately recognized the song as the music started playing. “Really?” she said watching Adam. “I don’t even remember the words”

“It’s karaoke. Words are on screen.” Adam smiled then leaning closer to Christina ear. “You won’t be able to run away from it”

“If I sing you’ll be with me” she got to say before she started sing the words she knew perfectly. “Sweet sugar candy man”

She turned to the public as she heard loud applause at seeing blonde girl’s face. Christina loved this song. It was always so much fun to perform. Adam knew perfectly what she had to sing. He knew perfectly how to keep her good mood.

“He had tattoos up and down his arm.” she sang dancing around Adam and moving her hand along his tattooed arm. “There's nothing more dangerous than a boy with charm”

Adam was watching Christina having fun on stage, dancing and singing. She looked amazing. Like nothing have changed. And he was loving it. And now he was her candyman. And he couldn’t help but smile watching her as she made him laugh from time to time. Her looks, her movements. She was so playful on the stage. It was so amusing. Seemed like she never took a break. She still knew her thing very good.

“Well by now I'm getting all bothered and hot. When he kissed my mouth he really hit the spot. He had lips like sugar cane. Good things come to boys who wait” Christina sand still not breaking eye contact with Adam.

“Are you seducing me?” he lip whispered to her what made her giggle. Her adorable laughter went through the whole room as she easily came back to singing. She turned away from Adam leaving him alone for some time as he sang to the public but in a minute she came back to him. “He's a one stop shop with a real big uh” she said seductively pointing on Adam what cracked him to laugh and she couldn’t help but laugh too missing out the next lines. She ended the song with the cutest dancing what still couldn’t keep Adam from staring on her with a wide smile.

As the song was finished Christina ran up to Adam. “Now we should get out of here” she whispered as they went out of stage.

“Oh, why? I love it in here” Adam smiled. “Love when you sing”

“Yeah, but I haven’t sung on public for more than two year. I don’t need any paparazzi now.”

“You seeing them?”

“Not yet. But they will be if we stay here”

Adam knew Christina was right so they decided on leaving the bar. “I don’t want to go home yet” Adam whispered as they sat into his car. “I love spending time with you. Don’t want to end it. Not yet”

“I can go with you” she said. “To your house”

“You’re totally seducing me today” he smirked agreeing.
