There are some who can find beauty in chaos,
A sculpture within a mass of stone
They can find images of marvellous creatyres
Hidden in random brush strokes.
But there are others who can't see
The pictures in vibrant colours
Or the beauty of shapes and lines
Carefully placed by the artist
In a certain place at a certain time.
I do not know where I stand
In the shadows or spectacular light.
Perhaps I shall never know
Or only see it once.
Merely blink and it disappears,
And all I see is a tainted canvas.
