*Tyler's POV*
Living my life, is definitely not easy. I never have a lot of spare time, and being a girl, always working, is difficult. I never have time for friends, shopping, going to parties, and just doing things that normal 19 year old girls do. I've always made time for family and for the two things I truly love. That would be singing, and the other would be video games.
Most people wouldn't expect me, a professional singer, to ever be shy, but if they only really knew how shy, I truly am. When Im not on stage, I live in a shell. I keep to myself, unless Im approached, and I try to hide as often as I can. You could say I live a double life, to an extent, but I'm just different when Im on stage. Im not shy, and Im not afraid on stage. Im confident and strong, but off stage, Im shy, quiet, and not very confident at all.
My two loves, don't really have much in common at all. Video games and singing, so different, but something people wouldn't expect. I seem to always run into creepers on the game and its something that just makes me laugh. It actually brightens up my day when I get a message from some complete stranger saying something sweet or complimenting me, but sometimes I get a creepy message, and I just have to laugh.
I'm not the girl that talks on the earpiece, unless my cousins are talking to me. Thats the only time I'll get on and talk to people. Other than that, Im too shy to even turn it on.
Im that girl that loves shooting games, and to be honest, Im damn good at these games. I completely kill all of the guys, and the best thing, is when you beat them, and you hear them get all angry or upset. It makes my night.
This night started off really good. I was playing and was completely killing everyone, and in the middle of the match, I get a message from someone with the username "SawyerBB65," but I couldn't look at it right away.
When the game was over, I opened it, to see it looked like this;
Username: SawyerBB65
Subject: Blank
Message: Hey, do you have a mic?
And with that I wrote him back saying I did, but am way too shy to turn it on. We messaged back and forth all night, and eventually he stopped trying to get me on the mic.
I was in the middle of another game with him, when I got another message.
Username: SawyerBB65
Subject: Friend Request
Message: SawyerBB65 Wants to be your friend.
Accept Deny
I obviously accepted the friend request. I played every game of the night with him, just listening to his voice, that soothing, yet deep voice. I loved it. I was captivated, and he was funny. He made me laugh so much that my cheeks hurt. I just kinda got what he was saying.
The odd thing is he felt different. He may seem pushy, but it was a good pushy. He seemed genuine, and not creepy at all. He just seemed, sweet. And by the end of the night, when I finally got off, I couldn't wait to play with him again.
*Sawyer's POV*
Its a normal night for me, playing video games, with my friends, just acting like a complete fool, talking away. Im just a normal 22 year old guy. Playing video games, acting stupid. Im still in school for engineering, and Im determined to make a better life for myself.
As Im playing, I see this name pop into the room, and I was instantly drawn. The name was "TyBaby92," and right then, I knew it was a girl.
I played a few games with her, and she was damn good. She completely mutilated everyone. I was shocked so I had to ask if she had a mic. I didn't believe that it was a girl.
I wrote her and she said she did, but was too shy to talk. I tried convincing her to turn it on, but got no where, so I dropped it, but I had to send her a friend invite. I did and she accepted it.
She seemed different, cool. She just seemed chill, like she was fun to hang out with and be around. I want to hear her voice, I want to see what she looks like. I want to get to know her, and Im determined to. First of all, a girl who plays video games, a girl who kicks all of our asses, and she actually messaged me. I'm determined to talk to her, and to get her to talk on the earpiece. Thats my mission, and I'm gonna make it happen.
