As Leon finally releases me, I cannot continue to hold back the tears. From a leaking tap, to a waterfall. Together we both hug and cry. Memories flooding back from the first time we met, to our first kiss, to now.
"I love you." He whispers into my ear.
"I love you too." I murmur.
Leon and I have a strong connection, that words cannot explain. We can communicate through music, speech and glances. We can tell when one another is sad, angry, hurt, happy. Our love is different to Marco and Fran's. This love I think will last a very, very long time. Maybe even a lifetime.
This contract will ruin all of those hopes and dreams. Long distance relationships have never lasted, in tv shows, books or reality.
"This, us, will never last three years apart, will it?" I say to Leon as he pulls the petals of the rose bouquet off the flowers.
