"So what's my excellent chef making for me tonight?" Shawn questioned sitting on the counter.
"I was think about Mendes ala mode." I said walking towards him.
"Oh yeah?" He questioned smirking.
"Yeah." I put myself between his spread out legs.
"Now get your ass off my counter before I serve it up."
He chuckled jumping down and kissing my forehead.
I grabbed a knife from the drawer to begin making the food.
I sliced the basil and onions.
The onions made my eyes tear up causing me to cut my hand with the knife.
"Shit!" I exclaimed grabbing my hand.
Shawn immediately ran over to me.
"Are you okay babygirl?"
"No I cut myself." I whimpered.
"Lemme see love." He whispered.
I slowly uncovered my hand to reveal a deep gash and blood cover both of my hands.
"That looks bad babe." I whimpered.
"You'll be fine just a few stitches." He said fingering around the area to look at it.
"Stitches?!" I squealed.
"Don't worry I'll be there the whole time."
"No Shawn please don't make me go." I pouted like a little kid in the car.
We were currently parked outside the emergency room.
"Babe you have to."
"I'll be fine." I promised.
"Exactly after you get stitches."
He got out of the car and came to my side.
He walked me into the emergency room and stayed with me the entire time.
"I can't look." I whimpered looking away as the doctor began stitching up my hand.
I stuffed my face into Shawn as he gripped my other hand reassuringly.
"All done!" The doctor exclaimed.
Shawn smiled down at me.
"We just want you to stay a little while longer to maker sure there's no infections." The doctor spoke.
I nodded and the doctor left us alone.
Shawn pulled up a chair next to my bed and turned the tv on.
"Shawnnn." I whined.
"Yeah babygirl?" He asked.
"I'm hungry."
"Oh yeah ill get you something." He kissed my forehead before leaving me alone.
He came back ten minutes later with two waters and two salads.
I smiled upon seeing food.
"Not exactly what I had prepared." I mumbled grabbing a salad and fork.
"As long as I'm with you it doesn't matter." He smirked sitting back.
I laughed kissing him.
"By the way Shawn this salad tastes like shit." I said. "Mendes ala mode would have been way better."
"Maybe you can still have that when you get home." He winked.
"Dirty minded boy." I scolded pinching him.
"You thought it." He said.
"You said it." I countered.
"Whatever." We said in unison.
