DiverseLit is a campaign made to support and promote Wattpad stories that include characters who are part of a minority group that are not typically featured in literature today.
A minority group is a group of individuals who are differentiated from the majority.
The minority groups these characters are involved in can be, but are in no way limited to, disabilities, body types, illnesses, disorders, sexual identities, religions, and nationalities. To sum it up, this campaign promotes stories with characters with any attributes that are not commonly written about.
Those who wish to join the movement can simply add the hashtag to your bio, which will show that you support minority groups being featured in literature.

The character in your novel does not have to be a main character, they simply must be in the novel as a side role.
