I hummed the song as I put my books back on my bookshelf.
"Renegades" I sang softly to myself.
I had Renegades by X Ambassadors stuck in my head.
I walked downstairs and my mom said "We are having people over tonight for dinner, so clean you room".
"Oh sorry, I didn't know we were having dinner in my room" I said sarcastically.
"Tatum" She warned.
"Mother" I mimicked.
She chuckled and rolled her eyes.
"Its already clean, anyways" I said.
She nodded and continued cooking whatever she was cooking.

My phone started to ring.
I picked it up and looked at it.
It said 'Green Eyes' and had a picture of Tatum smiling/laughing.
"Hello"?
"River"! She yelled.
"What"? I asked annoyed since she just yelled in my ear.
"I'm bored" She whined.
"Nice to meet you bored, I'm River" I said as I searched for my laptop in my room.
"Thats such a dad joke" She said.
I rolled my eyes.
"What do you want"? I asked.
"A unicorn"! She suggested.
I face-palmed "I think you are drunk".
"I am NOT drunk, Mister"! She scoffed.
"Oooooo 'Mister'" I teased her.
"You know what" She tested.
"What"? I asked with a smirk growing on my face.
"I'm just going to call Beth" She said.
"Tatum-" I said.
"What"?
"Unicorns don't exist" I said.
"Neither does my love life, but I still like to pretend they exist" She said.
I bursted out laughing "You are so weird"!
"Hey! At least I don't have One-night stands every night" She defended.
I sobered up and said "Babe, when you're as hot as me, its kind of hard not to".
She scoffed "Hot, my a*s".
I rolled my eyes.

People were here, and spread threw out the house.
"Die! Die! Die!" I yelled as I was playing The Last Of Us on the Xbox in the basement that was like a game room.
The Zombie died and I threw my hands up in victory.
"What up weirdo"? Mark said as he came down the staircase.
"Just shooting a bunch of Zombies" I shrugged.
"So the usual" Mark said and I rolled my eyes.
I asked "Wheres Lacey"?
Lacey is Mark's new girlfriend and she seems sweet but I haven't met her yet.
"She's at home with her family tonight" Mark said with disappointment.
I grabbed a soda out of the fridge and plopped down on the couch next to him.
He changed it to TV and started watching something.
I took out my phone.

I walked downstairs and people talked and I walked into the kitchen.
I grabbed an apple out of the fridge and my mom was talking to someone.
I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist.
"Hey Babe" River said and rested his chin on my shoulder.
I turned in his arms and gave him a quick hug "Hey. It's about time."
He smirked "Miss me"?
"Yes. Now I'm bored"! I said.
He smirked "There is a few things we could to do".
I smacked his arm and stomped on his foot "Get those thoughts out of your head!"
He sighed "Fine".
"Hey Tatum" Mrs. Lockwood smiled at me.
"Hey Marie" I smiled and hugged her.
She asked "Where can I put this"? as she refereed to the plate of lasagna in her hands.
"I'll take it" I said and took it and put it in the fridge.
I walked back and grabbed Rivers hand and pulled him outside.
I walked alongside the pool, and sat down and let my feet go into the cold water.
River sat down next to me.
"So are you going to come back to Washington"? River asked.
I turned to him and said "I don't know".
"O come on, everyone misses you!" He said.
"River, you're the one who made me leave in the first place" I said as I looked at him.
He inched his face closer to me "But-".
"Maybe you should just transfer to Chrism" I said.
He placed his forehead up against mine "Maybe I will" He smirked.
I chuckled and pulled away and stared at the water.
I shivered as the wind went by.
River pulled me close to him. He wrapped his arms around me and I rested my head on his shoulder.
"You want to go in"? He asked.
I shook my head "Nah, I'm good".
Truth is. I just didn't want to be out of River's arms.
And I didn't know why...........

"Tatum! River"! My mom yelled.
We walked downstairs to the kitchen.
Marie smiled and sat "Sit for awhile".
We both raised eyebrows then taking seats at the table where a bunch of women were.
Tiffany said "Wow, you've two have grown".
Kim smiled "Yes you two have".
Olivia asked "Yes, do you know where you two are going to college"?
"Stanford" I said and River said "Washington State University".
I looked down as I realized River and I will be separated.
"Do you have a boyfriend Tatum"? Kim asked.
"No" I said.
"What about you River? Do you have a girlfriend"?
"No but I have my eye on someone" He smirked and I raised an eyebrow.
They all smiled.
"How's your dad"? A women who is a snobby b*tch named Amanda asked.
I bit my lip "I don't know".
"Well" She scoffed "Shouldn't you know".
"Why would I know"? I asked.
"Because you're his daughter" She stated.
"Yeah, well he doesn't seem to care".
"So tell me Tatum" She started "What was it like when he held that gun out"?
My eyes widened and I started to shake slightly as my palms got sweaty.
"That's none of your business" I managed to get out.
"Amanda stop" My mom warned.
Amanda watched in amusement "No really? I'm curios: Did he ever threaten to kill you"?
Tears pricked my eyes.
"I mean it wouldn't surprise me. He didn't love you" She said.
River grabbed my hand under the table and squeezed it; reassuringly.
"How did it feel to be abused, and find out your dad was a murder"? She pushed.
"Stop"! I yelled.
She scoffed "No wonder he didn't love you, your a bratty b*tch"!
My mom was about to say something when River slammed his hands against the table and everyone's heads snapped towards him.
"Cut the bullsh*t! You have no f*cking right, to bring up the topic of whats happened to Tatum! Who the hell do you think you are!? Because whoever you think you are, GO BURN IN HELL! Do you really feel the need to knock someone down to make you f*cking happy!? Because if I know one thing, it's Tatum is not a brat! Or a b*tch! And it wasn't her fault her dad was a complete a*swhole! So guess what"!? River yelled.
I sat their shocked.
Amanda raised an eyebrow.
"Go f*ck yourself" He yelled then grabbing my hand and pulling me upstairs and left everyone their dumbfounded and jaws dropped.
He pulled me into my room and shut the door before grabbing me and wrapping his arms tightly around me.
"Please Tatum, don't listen to her" He said as I cried into his chest, making his shirt become wet.
"Riv-" I got out.
He rubbed circles on my back and pressed his forehead up against mine "Don't listen. She's a b*tch. And trust me you're loved".
I nodded slightly as his blue eyes bored into mine.
He took my hands in his "Tatum, promise me something"?
"Hmm"? I asked.
"Don't hurt yourself" He pleaded with worry in his voice.
My heart sunk and my breath hitched.
"Please" He said again.
"I-I promise" I stuttered.
He nodded and pulled me back into his arms.

I have a important announcement and I'm going to post a message chapter right after this one so go read it!
Today it was so cold at my school!
We walked in and it might as well been the f'n North Pole!
You guys are probably all like "Well then put a jacket on".
No -_-
I got to a Catholic/ Private School.
Catholic/Private School = Uniforms.
My uniform:
Green polo shirt
Plaid Green, Gray, Yellow, White, Black, Kilt/Skirt.
Green knee-high socks.
Black or Brown Flats
The uniform policy is very strict to, so we are not aloud to wear jacket in school.
So we freezed, and my teachers are insane and like it cold!
So math class came around at 3rd period.
My math teacher NEVER thinks its cold. NEVER.
Not ever has she once said It was cold, so her rooms always a freaking Popsicle.
Today she let us go get our sweatshirts out of our lockers and wear them for class.
Honestly; The Highlight of my day..........
Then I had English/ELA after that class and the room was colder then the other one!
Well at least to me.......my friends think otherwise..........
My teacher made us put our jackets back so I sat for an hour freezing cold!
It was bad......
WE LIVE IN PENNSYLVANIA PEOPLE! THERE'S A THING CALLED A HEATER THAT YOU USE!
No but seriously it almost snowed over the weekend.
It's October 19th..........
I love snow, but NOT WHEN ITS IN FALL!
Anyways any one who has warm weather I envy you!!!!
