"That you'll never leave me," I say as I stare at Laurance's blue eyes.
"Aphmau," Laurance pauses.
He comes closer to me. As Laurance comes closer to me he wraps me in his arms and hugs me.
"I'll never leave you," he whispers in my ear.
I smile and hug him back, he's been my best friend for years, but now I think we're something better. We're best friends forever. I just wish he would find out how I feel for him.
I want to blurt out that I like him like I would when we were littler. The only about that, we're no little anymore. We're full grown adults, if I did that he might laugh at me. I just...ugh...how would I tell him?
"Aphmau," Laurance mutters. I think he said something else but I didn't quiet hear it.
"Laurance I," I was stopped short.
"Aphmau watch out!" Laurance yells and pushes me towards Garroth and Levin.
An arrow comes whizzing past us, I hear a thud. I turn to see Laurance once again on the ground, this time an arrow near his heart. I feel tears stream down my face, he took the arrow for me.
"No," I cry, "not again."
I stand there tears falling down my cheeks and onto the ground. I close my eyes and reopen them, I wish this was all a dream. A nightmare from my childhood I was dreaming again. Why does he risk his life for me?
I fall to the ground, my knees becoming red from falling. I crawl towards him getting grass all over me. Hot tears roll of my face and once again onto his clothes, it seems everything is just happening today, Laurance almost dying and now him actually dying.
I pull out the arrow although I know it won't help. I don't want him to go although I know that he is. I reach over and hug him, it'll be our last hug. I choke holding back tears. I close my eyes and let the tears fall.
I feel a pair of arms wrap around me again, he can't be awake. He's gone. It's Garroth trying to get me to leave. I open my eyes as a few more tears stream down my face making a river. I don't see who it is because tears are in my way. I feel light headed and I feel myself fall backwards.
I can hear a few words so that means I'm not dead, I guess that's good.

I open my eyes and I'm in a red bed. I hear a door creak open and I turn my head towards it. There stands Laurance, how I thought he, he was going to die!
"How are you alive?" I ask.
"Better question how are you feeling?" Laurance asks stepping into the room even more.
"I'm fine but you, you were shot by an arrow!" I scream.
"Aphmau you did something again, when did you have magicks?" Laurance asks.
"I-I don't know," I stutter.
"Well we'll find out together," Laurance comes over and hugs me.
I hug him back I wonder what happened.
"Laurance where's Levin?" I ask releasing from the hug.
"He's downstairs with Garroth,"
"Thank you," I smile.
"For what?"
"Everything,"
"Aphmau I'll never leave you again, I promise," Laurance hugs me again.
I hug him back and a single tear falls from my face.
