Alane smiled while rubbing her thumb on the ribbon. Days passed ever since Alaude gave it to her, and she would wear it every single day. She remembered how Alaude treated her before confessing his feelings. He would glare at her and tell her to leave him alone, but then started to become more nice to her.
She placed the ribbon on the counter and slipped off her sleeping dress to change. She wore her trousers and looked around for her dress shirt. When she found it, she slipped her arms through the sleeves "Alane, wake up" Alaude suddenly opened the door, Alane looked at him "...." His eyes widen.
He scratched his cheek as he looked away from her back "finish quickly" he said and awkwardly closed the door. She frowned when she saw his pink cheeks, she shrugged the dress shirt on her shoulders "his cheeks were pink..." She thought and glanced at the door "did he have a fervor ?"
After she tied the ribbon around her head, she opened the door to see Alaude leaning against the wall "you forgot to knock the door" she said. He glared at her "sorry" he sighed "let's go, breakfast is ready" he said and started walking "hm" she nodded and followed him.
She missed a step on the stairs. She didn't fall because she held Alaude from behind "s-sorry" she said, he blushed when he felt her breasts pressing on his back "whatever" he looked away.
Everyone watched awkwardly at Alaude and Alane as Alaude tried to avoid Alane's touch. They flinched when Alaude glared at them "Alane, did something happen between you and Alaude ?" Elena asked, Alane looked up from her food "Alaude forgot to kno-" she got cut off when Alaude shoved a toast in her mouth.
They blinked, Alane decided to stay quiet and chew on the toast. They awkwardly returned to their food "we do not speak about what happened" Alaude whispered to Alane "sorry" she whispered back "don't do it again" he entwined their hands together.
They shot their heads to their hands when they felt something strange. Elena screamed when purple and white flames scattered around, making Alaude and Alane fling opposite ways.
"Alaude ! Alane !" They yelled. Alaude got up, but he hit his head into something hard "what's that ?" Lampo pointed. Alane was trapped in a weird shaped white crystal, and Alaude in a purple one "what just happened ?" G said "what was those flames that scattered around ?" Asari said "Alane ! Don't worry ! I'll get you out !" Giotto banged on Alane's crystal "you should be the one to ask the questions !!" They yelled.
"Giotto, what do we do ?" Elena asked "we'll be calling Talbot" Giotto said "somebody called my name ?" A man appeared behind Giotto "HEEEEEEEI !!!!!" Giotto hid behind G. Unlike in the future, Talbot in the past was very young, almost as age as Giotto "please don't do that again !" Giotto said "hehehe, still a scary cat, Vongola Primo" Talbot laughed "I see your Guardians are trapped" he glanced at Alaude and Alane "after they straightened the crystals, so they were sitting.
Alane frowned and glanced at Alaude "who's this ?" She asked "a person who is weirder than Melon Head" he said and flinched when Talbot hit his crystal with a staff "watch you mouth !" Talbot.
"Hmm I can tell that this is Cloud flames" he trailed his fingers over Alaude's crystal "but this..." He tapped on the white crystal and on where he tapped, it formed icy surface "it is clearly Snow flames"
Their eyes widen and they glanced at each other "Alane, where's the Ring ?" Alaude said "umm..." She shoes him her hand where she was wearing the Snow Ring "Alane.." Giotto stared in shock when Alane's hand was surrounded by Snow flames "your the Snow Guardian ?" He said "odd, you don't even knew your Guardian's flame ?" Talbot chuckled "Alane is not my Guardian, she is my sister. There must be a mistake" Giotto said "ow !" Talbot hit his head with a staff.
"I am Talbot ! I am never wrong !" He said "but what's the Snow Guardian's job ?" Knuckle said "I don't know" Talbot shrugged "and how can we get them out ?" Asari said "I don't know that either" they anime fell "what do you know then !!?" They yelled "you can let out only Alane" Daemon smirked "Melon" Alaude glared.
"Umm" Alane showed them her hand. They gasped in surprise when Alane and Alaude's hands hit the crystal's surface toward each other "didn't this happen before ?" Alane said "it did" Alaude rested his cheek on his palm "this happened before ?" Giotto said.
Alaude shrugged and slipped his finger off the Ring, it was still stuck to the crystal "it happens when Alaude and I were alone" Alane said "what do you two do when your alone ?" They noticed a dark area around Giotto and G "we talk" Alane said "and get to know each other" she added "by body..." Daemon coughed and looked away from Alaude's glare.
"We just talk" she said "what do you both feel after talking ?" Talbot narrowed his eyes. Alaude and Alane frowned and glanced at each other "being trusted" they slightly smiled. Talbot noticed Cloud and Snow flames slowly appeared and connected, but it slowly fainted when Alaude and Alane looked away from each other in embarrassment.
They flinched when Talbot suddenly snapped his finger "everyone leave !" He pointed at the door with his staff "what about them ?" Elena said "they will figure it out" he waved his hand and they left the room.
Alaude sighed and stood up "how do we break this ?" He mattered and raised up his fist to punch it "don't !" Alane stood up, he looked at her "do you have a better idea ?" He raised a brow glaring "I might have one that does not require injury" she said "Alane, we will not get out if we don't lose a finger" he said "I'll punch it, then I'll punch yours" he raised his fist again.
"Alaude ! Don't you dare punch it !" She yelled while glaring "and what will you do ?" He glared back "we can't just sit here doing nothing" he said "and we can't just break it with our hands. Giotto sighed as he listened to their argument "this is very bad, they are fighting" he said worriedly "they will figure this out, be patient" Talbot said.
"What do you suggest us to do ?" Alaude glared "I don't know, but we need to use our heads" Alane glared back "are you saying that I don't think !?" He yelled "I am saying that you don't use your head at all !!" She yelled back "what will you do if I already broke this crystal and broke my knuckles !?" He narrowed his eyes, she gritted her teeth at that and clenched her teeth "I'll...hate you !" His eyes widen.
She bit her lips to prevent forming tears and looked away "Alane..." He stared then sighed. They gave each others back, leaned against the crystal, and slid down until they were sitting. He rested his arm on his knee while she rested her forehead on her knees that she was hugging, and they sat there quietly.

The day passed and it was already night. Giotto opened the door and peeked in. Alaude and Alane had been sitting the same position while sleeping, still trapped in the mysterious crystal. Giotto sighed and left "what do you think ?" G asked as Giotto closed the door "I'm worried about them" Giotto said "I know you are" G said "but I was actually talking about Alane being our missing Snow Guardian"
Giotto stared at him with worry "I don't know, this is the biggest problem we ever faced" he said "I can't just let her be my Guardian" he said "but you said that she might be that Gua-" G got cut off "I know what I said" Giotto said "but I was having second thoughts that time" he sighed "I know Alane's memory is blurry and she is very strong, but she is still learning, and her heart is still weak" he said.
"What do you suggest us to do ?" G said "even though we know her for so long, I don't think we gained her trust yet" Giotto said "didn't gain her-- Giotto ! She-" G got cut off again "I know ! She trust Alaude more than anyone, more than her own brother" G noticed the hint of anger in Giotto's tone "are you mad at Alaude ?" G asked.
Giotto smiled and shook his head "no, not at all" he chuckled "it's just there is something Alaude knows about Alane that he doesn't want to tell us about" he said "but to think of it..." He paused "maybe he didn't want to tell me without Alane's permission" he said. Every time Giotto would call Alaude to talk alone, Alaude would only give him the information that Giotto already knows.
"We'll think something out in the morning, let's go to sleep" Giotto said "what about them ?" G said, Giotto smiled at the door "we'll give all our hopes to Talbot and them" he said and walked away "I still think of him as an old man" G followed, Giotto chuckled "he even walk with a staff" Giotto said "I think it's a walking stick" G said "what you say !?" Talbot suddenly appeared "Gwa !!" They flinched, Talbot laughed.
Meanwhile, in the living room, Alaude slowly opened his eyes then glanced at the wall watch. He rubbed his neck in pain and glanced at Alane "are you awake ?" He asked "hm" she nodded "do you hate me ?" He said, she clenched on her legs "no" she mumbled "it's just that, I don't want you to hurt yourself" she whispered, he chuckled "Stupid Cat" she slightly blushed.
"I've....tried it before" she whispered "hn ?" He raised a brow "they once trapped me in a cold cell when I was little, when I tried to run away" she said "I was scared that I had to get out, so I started punch the cold door to break it, I wasn't thinking straight to know it won't work" she explained "I broke my knuckles and it stayed broken for a month"
They were still facing away from each other "why did they trap you in there ?" He asked "hm.." She decided to tell him about her first kill. He was shocked at first, but decided to keep his calm face, and realized why she was scared when it comes to killing.
"My brother, Alanzo.." He looked down "did not die in an accident" he said "he was killed by assassins, they drowned him in that frozen pond in front of me" he glared "were you still young that time too ?" She asked "yes" he sighed.
She looked down "do hate me because I was an assassin ?" She said "no" he said "I hated you at first, thought you would pretend to be ignorant to kill us" he admitted "but to think about it..why did you help us back then ?" He said "p-pardon ?" She blinked "at the mansion, when Eraca left, you help us run away" he reminded her "oh" she said "I...felt like I needed to help" she said "for once, I wanted to be good" she said "but.." She slightly smiled "I wouldn't have thought I'd fall in love with the man who once hated me"
He glared, he didn't know that she would feel that way at first, how Eraca wouldn't let her know the feeling of being good "I promise, I will help you stop murdering and concur your fear about your first kill" he said, she bit her lip "and I promise to find the culprit who killed your brother, I'll try even if you don't want me to find him" she said.
Their eyes widen when they fell back, out of the crystal. They glanced at each other and smile, still laying down "I guess your right, we got out without getting injured" he smirked "I guess both of us needed a little patience" she smiled blushing "keep using that head of yours" he poked her forehead "am I a stupid cat now ?" She blinked, he chuckled "my stupid cat" he said.
She blushed when he pecked her lips, he frowned when she suddenly sat up, giving him her back, he did the same "Alaude..." She said "I'm sorry I yelled" she said "I'm sorry as well" he said, she blushed and clenched on her collar "my heart is beating again" she thought "I-I don't hate you, Alaude" she said.
He smirked and pulled from her waist from behind him, and pinned her on the floor "does that mean that you love me ?" He smirked against her lips, her eyes widen and looked down "d-do you still love me ?" She mumbled "look.." He said, she looked at him "I'll do something that proves that I love you, if you accept it, that means you still love me" he said, she blinked and tilted her head in confusion "what are you going to do ?"
He chuckled "your an idiot, but cute" he said, she blinked again in confusion. Her eyes widen when he brushed his lips against hers. She blushed and closed her eyes shut, tugging on his collar. He was surprised when she pushed him to catch her breath. His half lidded eyes sadden as he watched her pant "sorry" he got up, she shot her head at him "hm !" His eyes widen when pulled him back down by wrapping her arms around his neck and kissed him.
It been a while until they pulled back "man, that surprised me" he collapsed on her "s-sorry" she mumbled and tugged on his hair "well, I just proved that you still love me" he cupped her cheeks with one hand, she frowned and grabbed his hands "and I now know that you still love me" she smile "don't repeat my words" he said "I didn't" she mumbled "stop lying or I'll kiss you" he warned.
She blinked and tilted her head, he didn't know why he likes it when she do that "kiss me ?" She repeated "suit yourself" he shrugged and kissed her "hmm-Alaude !" She muffled while struggling. She madly blushed when he slipped his tongue in, playing with hers. She tugged on him to catch her breath, but he wouldn't let her.
She gasped when he pulled back "Ita" she winced when he flicked her forehead "punishment" he smirked "w-why am I being punished ?" she rubbed her forehead, he chuckled at her red face "cute" he rubbed her cheek with his thumb "hn ? It's morning already" he sat up, looking out of the window "how long have we been kissing ?" He said and glanced at her "hn ?" He raised a brow as she covered her red face.
She flinched when he pulled her hands to stand up "what's with the red face ?" He leaned into her face and she tried to look away "did that kiss embarrassed you ? Weren't you the one who once asked me to teach you how to French kiss ?" He smirked "d-d-d-d-don't say that" She glared at him, he patted her head "let's go prepare breakfast" he smiled, she blushed at the sun raise behind him "h-hm" she nodded.
After everyone woke up, they went to the dinning room to check on Alaude and Alane. When they opened the door "eh ?" They saw Alaude bending Alane's back while holding a trey on his other hand "you clumsy stupid cat, you wouldn't have got hurt" Alaude said "sorry" Alane said and stood up, he sighed and placed the trey on the table.
They looked at the door confused "y-your out of the crystal ?" Elena said "isn't it obvious ?" Alaude glared "Alaude, please don't be rude to miss Elena" Alane tugged on him "there is no way Alaude would he listen !" They thought "alright" he patted her head "he would !" They gaped.
Giotto and G pulled Alaude to a corner asking questions about what happened yesterday "what exactly happened yesterday between you two ?" G said "I don't remember" Alaude said "stop lying ! You got a strong memory !" Giotto and G yelled "Giotto, G, please don't bother Alaude, he does not remember" Alane hugged Alaude's arm "he does not feel comfortable talking about it" she mumbled and looked down blushing "it's fine, let's eat breakfast" Alaude patted her head, she nodded and they walked away.
Giotto gaped "ALANE JUST DEFENDED ALAUDE FROM ME !!!!" He struggled from G's grip "what the hell happened after you told me about yesterday !!?" G yelled "I know, I just can't hold myself !" Giotto anime cried.
"Are you sure nothing weird happen, Alane ?" Elena asked "you two were fighting at first" she said worried "if you got out first, you shouldn't have told Alaude how to get out" Daemon said and dodged the flying knife nonchalantly "umm, well" Alane slightly blushed "Alane, be quiet" Alaude said while resting his cheek on his fist "but.." She looked at him "Itai" he glared and squashed her cheeks with one hand "be quiet or I'll kiss you" he warned, making her remember about earlier. Her eyes widen "you..w-wouldn't" she said "you know I would" he leaned into her face glaring.
She stared in shock before getting up to run out of the room, leaving Alaude's hand in the air "hn" he blinked "alright then, Stupid Cat" he thought and stood up "Alaude, where are you going ?" Knuckle asked "a little hunting to do" Alaude closed the door behind him.
Alane panted while leaning against the tree, she ran really far without noticing. She slid down until she was sitting and rested her head back. She suddenly remembered about her first kill, she was glad that Alaude understood her and didn't ask for more details, since he knows she wouldn't answer.
She rubbed her neck where the bite was, not noticing her eyes glowed "found you" she flinched and her eyes went back to normal when Alaude appeared "I won't kiss you, let's go back" he said "Alaude !" She stood up in surprise, she slightly smiled "hm" she nodded "heeh !!" She let out a small scream when he threw her over his shoulder "A-Alaude ! P-Put me down please" she blushed "you need some punishment, you stupid cat" he glared "please no !" She clenched on his coat "hn" he only smiled to himself at her complaining.
