Dare Devil
It still fascinates me how you do inscrutable things without fear of getting hurt. I must say I am lucky to have met a brave guy who love to chase chaos-- even the inevitable death.
"Is there something that scares you?" I ask, not leaving my gaze on the scar in your lower lip.
"There's one." you whisper as you gaze down at me.
I frown and lock my gaze with those charcoal orbs. "What is it?"
I feel your arms tighten around my waist as you inch closer until there's no space for air between us. You hug me tightly as the devil in you leave you for a moment. I hear your constant heartbeat and without a word, I finally understood.
