Jackie's POV.
After Elia finally stopped crying, Micheal, Ashton, and Calum came running, and they bombarded us with questions.
"What the hell was that?"
"What did Luke do?"
"What is going on?!!"
"Hold the F up!!" I yelled. They all quieted down and I cleared my throat. "Elia and I went to the movies the day after Elia's party, and that same day we saw Amy and Chase together at the movies. We saw them kiss-"
"WHAT?!"
"Yeah. Anyway, Elia told Luke about it, but before she could show him the pictures, he called her a liar and told her he didn't want to see her again. Thats why Elia went into a depression, then into a car accident, then she and Luke started avoiding each other and stuff. And today-"
"I had enough." I jumped a little, then we all turned to look at Elia. She had been quiet this whole time, that her voice surprised me. She looked at us, and gave us an obviously fake smile. "I got tired of everything, so I decided to just...end things. My mother once told me, 'If you're not associated with someone, then they won't bother you, and you'll have nothing to worry about'. So I thought, why not unfriend Luke? That way, this whole deal won't bother me! And Amy can cheat on him and I won't worry about it cause I'm not friends with Luke anymore!!"
"..."
"..."
"..."
"..." We didn't know what to say. It was logical, but sad, too. I don't know if this is going to make things better, or worse.
Without waiting for a response, Elia walked away just as the bell rang, leaving us alone.
"Wow...I just thought Luke had taken some of her candy and she was mad. Is it like her to do this?" Calum asked, looking at me with curious eyes.
I sighed. "No, it isn't. She never stays mad at people. If she did, then we would have stopped being friends a long time ago. This...I don't know. You know what? Screw this. If Elia wants to be a little bitch and cry over Luke, then fine. I'll support her, but I'm not getting into this. I'll just stick with my stuff."
I know it sounded harsh, but they seemed to understand what I was saying. Calum and Ashton walked after Elia. Ashton because he had class with her and Calum because he can't stand to see her sad. Micheal, fortunately, had the same class as I did. We walked together, and stayed silent. I didn't know what to say, but it was as if he didn't really want to talk right now. In fact, he seemed very...distracted.
I understood. It's not every day that your two friends who happen to be best friends fight and break up because of mistrust and a girl. I hope that doesn't happen to Micheal and me. I mean, the guys are fun people to hang around with, and I just hope Elia doesn't unfriend them like she did with Luke.
Then things would really get awkward. I swear, she is such an idiot. But that's why I love her....actually, I will kill her if she unfriended such hot and amazing guys like Micheal, Ashton and Calum. If she does....then she's an idiot.
