the flight to LA was full of sleep. my legs were on Grays lap and my head on his shoulder, his hand was on my thigh and my arms were wrapped around his arm.
to make it more simple, we were practically pretzeled! right as we were about to land Grayson woke me up.
we got off the flight and met up with everyone on the runway into the LA airport. Grayson and I walked hand in hand, our fingers joined together, my other hand on his inner elbow.
I laid my head on his bicep as we walked. we were all laughing and joking around.
"GRAYSON GRAYSON"
"ETHAN OMG ETHAN!"
"AARON! HI! I LOVE YOU AARON!"
"JACK JACK!"
"OMG ITS THE DOLAN TWINS"
we were met by a massive group of girls holding up signs for the boys, all of the boys.
they took pictures while I hid behind Grayson or Aaron. Ethan was very popular with the fans and was constantly on the go taking as many pictures as he could!
finally we were able to leave and go get our luggage.
"who's she?"
"um, excuse you that's MY boyfriend"
"back off"
"lol wow ok bye"
"ew"
as we passed by those were the things that I heard.
no this isn't like every fanfic or story that you read, where the girlfriend gets all depressed because the fans are criticizing her! this is my story! just read on! please?
the words made me laugh. I was a fangirl like them, who am I kidding I still am. so I stopped. I literally stopped walking in the middle of the hall and I turned back around.
"hi guys!" I said walking up to them.
"I couldn't help but over hear you guys so, I thought I'd come over and let you guys get to know me! so let me start off by introducing myself. hi I'm Hazel, I just moved to New Jersey, I'm 17 years old. I used to live here in LA. and if you guys have anything to say to me or ask you can definitely say it or ask it to my face!" I said with a little grin.
"you're really pretty!" one said.
"thank you!" I said laughing.
"be real with me you guys! don't be fake! if you don't like me don't pretend to like me! that's all I ask! get home safely you guys! make good choices!" I said going back to the guys.
"that. was. awesome!" Ethan said to me.
"yo that was sick!" Aaron said.
"very impressive!" Jack said.
"that was hot!" gray whispered, his nose against my temple kissing it!
all my life I dealt with bullies so, to say I've become a pro at winning at their little games, would be an understatement.
as we got to baggage claim we had to deal with the same things, people coming up and asking for pictures, I was the photographer for them.
we picked up our luggage and off we were. we got an Uber and off we were to our hotel(?) I realized that I had no idea where the heck we were staying.
the car was packed, Jack in the front. Ethan on the right, Aaron in the middle, Grayson on the left, and me on Grayson's lap!
"wait, this is where we are staying?" I asked.
it was a bunch of flats, like really nice flats.
"yeah! we rented one for like a month!" Ethan said.
"woah!" I said.
"yeah, Aaron and Jack go as they please basically! if they have to go back home or to do something for management, then they just leave, no big deal!" Grayson said.
"oh this is going to be fun!" I said with a smirk on my face.
I felt like Jess in New Girl, I was living with all guys!
we met the landlord who gave all of us keys, and do other crap. we were all the proud renters of this gorgeous flat!
there were four rooms... and five of us...
"well.." Ethan said.
"I'll sleep on the couch! I don't mind!" I said.
"no, we couldn't let you do that!" Aaron said.
"Aaron and I will room together." Jack said.
"are you guys sure?" I asked.
"yes!" they both said.
"I really appreciate it you guys.." I said.
"our pleasure!" they said.
all the rooms were on the same side of the house. two next to each other on both sides of the hallway.
Grayson and I ended up being right across from each other.
my room had a window, which I was 100 percent ok with!
I had my own bathroom and everything!
I unpacked everything and hung it in my closet, or put it in my drawers.
I put my cosmetics and toiletries in the bathroom and was off to Grays room.
I was out next to Aaron and Jack and across from Ethan.
gray was half way through putting his stuff up so I sat criss cross on his bed and went onto Instagram.
"yo Hazey, I'm going to run and get us all lunch wanna come?" Ethan asked.
"I'd love to!" I said.
"ok! I'll get everyone's order and then we will go!" he said.
"bye love!" I said to Grayson
"bye babe!" he said as I kissed him.
I grabbed my key and off we were.
Ethan and I walked around LA trying to find a restaurant that had everything everyone wanted. there were restaurants right next to each other, both having what everyone wanted.
Ethan and I were becoming really close friends! and that I was thankful for.
we ran into the first restaurant instantly regretting the decision! it was packed!! we decided to order our to go and run next door while we waited the 30 minutes we were having to wait!
next door was not as bad! it wasn't as packed but this place EVERYONE knew who Ethan was.. and now they knew who I was too..
"ARE YOU CHEATING ON GRAYSON WITH HIS BROTHER"
"no.." was all I said.
to me, these boys weren't famous, they weren't big.. they were the two boys I met a little while ago.. normal all-American boys.. I didn't want to become famous.. at least not like this.. I wanted to be known for who I am, now I'm known for who I'm dating. I love dating Grayson but now, my life has involuntarily changed completely.
we ordered our to go and left for the other restaurant to pick up our food. we grabbed our bags from both restaurants and went.
I had one bag of food and Ethan had one bag of food. with my free hand I grabbed my key out of my pocket and unlocked the door.
I walked in, set down the food on the island in the kitchen and went straight to my room.
"Lunch is here.." Ethan said.
GRAYSONS POV
I walked out of my room to find two bags of food and only one person.
"Ethan, where is my girlfriend?" I asked.
"Gray, she had a tough encounter with fans... I think she's realizing that she's not just a nobody anymore... I think you should go talk to her..." Ethan said.
with that I ran to her room, pushing between Aaron and Jack.
I found my angel on her bed, knees tucked into her chest, her back up against the wall, crying..
I didn't know what to say...
"hey come here." I said sitting right next to her, opening my arms.
she laid her head on my chest.
"what happened?" I asked.
"I'm not a nobody.. of course I've wanted to become famous but I don't know.." she said.
"but not like this." I said.
"I guess I wanted to earn it on my own.." she said.
"babe, that is understandable. and I should've told you when we first met but, you liked me for me and not for the fact that I was famous." I said.
"I know! this is just going to take some time to get used to is all!" she said kissing my chest.
"you wanna eat?" I asked her after a few minutes of silence.
she nodded. I got up and then helped her up. she wiped off her tears and then we went in the room where everyone was.
Ethan had kept our food warm. we sat down at the island and started eating.
HAZEL'S POV
I grabbed my food and sat in between Ethan and Aaron.
"you ok?" Ethan asked.
"I'm ok, thanks Eth." I said smiling.
"hey, you know I'm here for you. for anything. just because he's my brother that doesn't change anything. you can come talk to me about anything!" Ethan said.
"thank you Eth I really appreciate it!" I said smiling.
Lunch was full of laughs and funness! we chilled after lunch. we still needed furniture, but that wasn't needed right now. we were all tired and full!
gray and I ended up in his room, in his bed, both of us sound asleep.
Ethan was in his room probably on his phone.
and Aaron and Jack had errands to run.
it was a stressful yet very good and happy day!
