Chapter 2 the battle

Neon opals pov
I turned around quickly and saw a monster " OH MY STARS WHAT WAS THAT " peridot yelped.
"It's a monster we got this" garnet answered fixing her sunglasses.
"Im helping." I said getting into stance as my eyes followed the dust going in the air. I then walked forward slowly the rest following.
"AMYTHEST" the pearl yelled at amythest who was joking around.
I hushed them and then my super vision switched on it made everything a dark color with ice like features. I pointed my fingers at the ground. "Right in there." I stated
"Woooah how did you do that" the quartz child said stars in his eyes
"Oh it don't know" then the ground rumbled under me my vision switched off And something shot up under me making me fall.
"Aaaaaah!" I fell back and hit my head
"Ow"
I ran towards it and got a good look it looked like a drill like worm and it was screeching.
"Look out!" Garnet yelled as the amythest was pulling me away.
"NO I can fight!" I kicked up the amythest following and I kicked it in the face i saw the quartz child about to get hurt " NO " my gem glowed and I pulled out a staff it was black and had neon colored ribbonlike features I twirled it and jabbed it into its gem

It went away and my staff disappeared.
It was quiet everyone was staring at me the kid was in awe I looked in the shard and I saw me but my eyes were glowing it went away instantly.
I heard a clap . "Brilliant work." Garnet said in her weird English voice
"Thank you." I answered weirdly
Steven had star eyes "woah awesome weapon" he said running over to me.
"Umm"
"STEVEN BE CAREFUL.. Hehe I'm sorry umm." The pearl stared at my gem.
"Neon opal." I stated tilting my head.
"Oh "neon opal" I am sorry Steven gets.... Excited when he sees "cool" things" she answered.
"Ok....."I answered weirded out by her concern.
"Ummm Mabye we should go in before something happens" peridot said bored of our pause.
We went in.
"So opal what are you doing here"
