We all head up to the register and order the new coffee.
"2 Coffees one half decaf and half skim milk..." Dan says.
"...and one all decaf with 2tsp of milk" Phil finishes.
The coffees get ordered and paid for, then we leave and start talking a walk around London.
"So how long have you lived here?" Dan asks.
"We moved in a couple years ago, we're from the U.S." I respond.
"I love the U.S.! Have you ever been to Florida?"
"No, but I've always wanted to." I say
"Same, parents never got around to it." Ellie says.
"Awe, well it's really fun there! You guys should go there sometime!" Phil says.
"Yeah, sounds like it." Ellie says.
After about an hour and a half of walking and talking...
"Do you want us to walk you home?" Dan asks.
"Sure!" Ellie and I say smiling brightly.
So Dan and Phil walk us home.
"Hey, do you want to exchange numbers?" Dan asks. "You guys will get Phil and I's and will get yours and Ellie's?"
"Yeah, sure!"
So we all exchanged numbers.
Dan and I were texting that night.
