chapter 30
*taylor's point of view*
i was determined to find him. i would find him then we'd go back to the cabin and everything would be all right.
i looked to my left and saw harry looking for liam. he was a good friend. i know he was in love with me, and yet he was still helping me find liam.
"taylor! look!" he pointed near a tree. the snow was covered in blood and liam laid there, a big chunk taken out of his left arm near his tattoo. he had a jacket wrapped around it. he was unconscious. harry told me to stay there and went check out liam. i sobbed.
"he still has a pulse.. i'm going to try to wake him." harry said. he put his hands on liams shoulders and shook him.
liam's eyes popped open and he gasped. i looked at him. he still looked then same.
"taylor, why am i not changing?" i shook my head.
"maybe the lack of blood flow because of the cold. or... no it couldn't be."
"what?" harry asked urging me to continue.
"i read a zombie book one time and it talked about how a certain blood type is immune to the infection and it can also heal. what's your blood type, Li?"
"AB." he said. his arm was still bleeding.
"me too."
i saw a boy abo- it was louis. he had cuts on him and blood smeared all over his face. he wasn't a zombie, but i approached him wearily.
"louis?" his eyes darted around.
"who are you.. and where am i?" he replied. his voice was very raspy. he didn't recognize me. liam must have healed him, but a side effect was memory loss. a girl was behind him. i recognized her to be averi. she made a face that showed she somehow recognized us.
"i'm taylor. your niece." i spoke to louis.
"do you remember me? we were best mates." harry asked. a tear fell down his cheek.
"you look vaguely familiar. but no i can't place you." he apologized.
"let's get everyone to the house, and accounted for." i replied and harry helped liam hobble back over to the cabin. we could cure people. me and liam were basically invincible. I kissed his nose and then opened the door. niall was making dinner. i smiled at him and said i have a surprise. then averi and louis walked in. his eyes were as big as saucers.
