Klaus' POV

Isolde and I had made our way back to the Lockwood cellar with a very pissed Caroline in tow. The whole way she yapped on about me tricking her into kissing her. If I had not been so overjoyed to see Isolde again I would have ripped her heart out the second that annoying voice came from her lips. It had been horrid for me when she jumped me in the woods and I wanted nothing more than to be back in my body once again. I wanted so bad to kiss Is again but she refused to let me as long as I was in this dreaded, much shorter body. Isolde had Caroline call Bonnie telling her to meet us in the cellar so we sat waiting on them to show up.

Sitting on the table in the dank cellar Isolde leaned her forehead against mine. "I thought I had lost you forever Nik."

"Isolde you know I would never leave you alone in this world. I will always find a way to stay by your side remember that." I grabbed her delicate hand in mine trying to comfort her with my words.

"I have never felt a pain so horrible in all my life. Nothing my father ever put me through came close to what I felt when they forced me to watch you die. I wanted to help you Nik, I wanted to die myself." A single tear escaped her beautiful silver eyes as she spoke softly to me.

Reaching up I kissed the tear away from her cheek before placing a quick gentle kiss on her lips. "All I could think about in those last moments looking into your eyes was the joy you have brought into my dark existence. I hurt not for the loss of my own life but for the pain I knew you would be feeling."

Isolde wrapped her arms around me tightly causing Caroline to scoff. "Can you keep your filthy hands off of my boyfriend? Kay, thanks."

Feeling the anger bubble up in my chest my eyes changed as I pinned her against the wall. "You will not speak to her again unless you wish for me to tear your boyfriend's body to shreds once I am done with it."

Once she gave an acknowledging nod I let her fall to the floor making my way back to Isolde. When I sat back on the table I pulled Is into my lap holding her tightly. Feeling her lean back into my embrace I kissed the back of her head whispering sweet nothings to her while we waited. It was a short amount of time I was able to hold her like that while she watched Caroline pout in the corner before the dream team came waltzing in.

Bonnie was the first to speak when seeing the strange sight in front of them. "Tyler what the hell are you doing with her?"

Smirking I stood, Isolde coming along with me. "Tyler is not home at the moment but please feel free to leave a message."

Is snorted softly as Damon drew his thick eyebrows together, a frown permanently etched on his face. "Bonnie what the hell you put Klaus in Tyler's body?"

"No you moron I simply brought him back. I'm assuming he jumped into Tyler's body at his own free will." The short, dark skinned witch glared at Damon as she spoke gesturing wildly to where I stood.

"Ah yes you see this is where we have an issue dear. You brought me back but you did not finish the spell." As I spoke I saw Isolde's eyes narrow at the other witch.

Her lips pursed she grabbed the younger Gilbert sibling holding him to her. "See now Bonnie that is not the deal we had. You will fix this now or we will see if Jeremy here is still able to come back to life once I tear his heart out. I'm sure you will love the way your little boyfriend's heart taste when I force it down your throat."

A merciless smile formed on my face as she spoke. "Well it seems as if you have pissed off the wrong hybrid Bonnie and you my love seem to have been very wicked in my absence."

As Isolde's hand started to sink into Jeremy's chest Bonnie cried out causing her to pause. "I need his body to complete the spell."

"Nik your body is in the secret room where I hid Rebekah and Kol when I first arrived." Her eyes never left the group standing before us as I left to retrieve my own body.

Upon returning to the cellar I found Damon and Caroline in a fight to the death while Isolde sat smiling on the sidelines. "Now love what have I told you about playing while I am away."

"But Nik I got terribly bored while you were gone and they said hurtful things." The small pout she wore on her plump, red lips vanished as she turned her attention to the bloody vampires. "You two may stop for now."

Wrapping my arms around Isolde I waited for the young witch to get everything she needed ready. Once she had everything properly set up I made my way to the coffin opening the lid to stare down at my grey corpse. Looking back I found Isolde had walked away and turned to face the wall. I knew she could not look at me like that and my heart ached knowing how much agony it was causing her.

Quickly everything was set into motion as Bonnie started chanting the Latin words. As the flames rose higher on the candles surrounding us I felt a giant pull on my spirit. Suddenly I was slammed into my own body causing me to sit up gasping in my coffin. Looking around the room I noticed Tyler on the floor breathing heavily and my beautiful Isolde who had now tuned around. Her faced was covered in a veil of worry and concern.

Appearing in front of her I gave her a passionate kiss my hands tangled in her wavy, silver hair before I turned my attention back to Tyler. Picking him up by his throat I slammed him into the hard concrete wall while Isolde stood between us and the rest of their group. A fierce animalistic look plastered on her face daring any of them to move towards where I stood.

Smirking I looked back to the young hybrid I held as he struggled to get his neck free from my grasp. "You will leave this town and never return or I promise you I will invent new forms of torment to put your pathetic body through. You may no longer be sired to me boy but I still created you and I have no issue making you suffer for the part you played in my death. Is that clear?"

"Crystal." He choked out causing me to release him.

Placing my arm around my lovely wife I addressed the rest of the Scooby gang. "The lot of you will get what is coming to you very soon, especially you Damon. Yours shall be the worst of all for making Isolde watch as your pitiful brother rammed his hand into my chest."

Is smiled up at me a glint in her unique eyes. "Come on sweetheart let's go get you someone to eat. You look like you could use it."

Walking towards the exit of the dark cellar all that were in our path moved to the side, fear rolling off of them in waves. I lived for times when those who opposed me coward in fear at my feet. My stunning Isolde seemed to enjoy it even more than I did. Stopping when she reached Damon, Isolde pulled him in to whisper in his ear.

"Give our baby brother a message for me won't you?" When he gave a single nod she smiled and continued. "Let him know the bitch is back and your sweet, little Elena is next on my list. This time she will not make it out alive."

When she had made her point Is hurled him into the old wall of the cellar causing the cement bricks to crack around the impact of his body. Grinning at him I pulled her to my side placing a soft kiss to the side of her head as we walked away from them. In the outside air I stood for a moment enjoying the way the rays of sun hit my body allowing a warm sensation to linger where they touched.

"Where to love?" I asked Isolde laying a soft kiss on the back of her hand.

"Anywhere you wish to go." Her response caused a wide smile to grace my lips.

After traveling around a bit Isolde and I ended up on a lonesome highway somewhere in Texas. Deciding to finally stop at a small bar we found on the highway we did what we did best. After we had reached our fill off the pleasure of bloodshed we indulged in a different type of pleasure. The sexual tension had ran high as we watched each other tear through the crowded bar and now it was time to have those urges be fulfilled.

Laying on the now broken pool table my remarkable wife nuzzled into my side sleeping peacefully. Her curvy body was covered in dry blood some hers, some mine, and most of it being from the numerous bodies that now lay dead around the bar. I allowed my hand to run gently down her body as I thought about how lucky I was to have her by my side. Letting my mind drift off into unconsciousness an extremely vivid dream filled my mind.

The year was 1920. Rebekah and myself had set up residence in the booming city of Chicago. There was never a shortage of women, booze, or nightlife. Spending our days around the city and our nights in a cozy little club we were living the high life. Rebekah had met a nice bloke by the name of Stefan and I had even formed a friendship with him. He was fascinating to see in action though he would never tell us the story of how he had come to be a vampire.

This particular night we had been partying like we did most night until a stunning woman caught my eye across the room, nudging Stefan I got his attention. "Who is that woman mate?"

Scanning the room he shrugged. "I do not see a woman. I think you may have had enough to drink my friend."

Ignoring his words I rose to my feet making my way to where I had just seen her. Something about this woman was calling to me, as if I needed to find her. Spotting her near the exit talking to a young man I followed as they left the night club behind. The way the man mindlessly followed her reminded me of compulsion, but then again she was an extraordinary beauty so I could be wrong.

Staying a good distance from them I continued to trail behind them into the woods on the outskirts of town. Standing cloaked by the trees I watched as the man agreed to a dance. They moved slowly together, her head lay on his shoulder before in an instant she had torn into his neck. His blood curtailing screams filled the air and as quickly as it had begun it was over.

As the woman hoisted the man over her shoulder I decided to follow her a little while more. Further into the woods we went until I wasn't quite sure where we were. Stopping she threw the young man onto a pile of bodies that laid to the side before falling to her knees. Stepping forward slightly so I could get a better look at her I accidentally stepped on twig causing it to snap.

When she stood up to look, searching the forest my breath caught in my throat. Not only because I did not wish to be caught but because of her eyes. The bright amber color stood out against her pale skin intriguing me. How was it possible for her to be a wolf? I had just seen her kill a man like a vampire. Being so lost in thought about her I had not realized she had found me until I was roughly thrown against the tree.

"Who are you? What are you doing following me?" Her voice was like a lost melody that I had been missing my whole life yet it held a cold edge to it.

"I'm sorry my dear lady. I saw you in the city and I had to know a beauty such as yourself. What are you?" My hand grazed her face as I spoke causing her to flinch slightly pulling away.

As she backed farther away the moon light shown on her silver, blood soaked hair. "Leave me be. You may wish to know me but I have no desire to know you."

I took a cautious step forward not wanting to startle her. "Please something about you called out to me in the club. I only wish to know more of you. How can you be both a wolf and a vampire?"

"I do not know. How do you know of those things?" Her eyes had now reverted back to normal and their color matched the same silver shade her hair had.

Before I had the chance to answer this beauty's questions I heard Rebekah's frightened voice calling out to me.

I place a kiss on the woman's cheek leaving her with a promise. "I will find you once again my special princess."

As I awoke from my dream I sat up breathing heavily. Gazing at my Isolde I could not believe I had forgotten. How had I not remembered such a woman?
