*Mikah's POV*
"Vicky? Is this really happening?" My voice is shaky and I am slightly in disbelief.
"I'm sorry Micky, I really am." Vic, my boyfriend or rather my ex now, says solemnly.
"Don't be. It isn't your fault. We've just... Drifted apart." I bite my lip. Yep, this is really happening. I'm truly losing him. "I understand Vic, don't worry."
"You sure?" He asks. I'm honestly not sure about it, no. I am losing the only guy I have ever loved in that way.
Hesitantly, I nod. "A-Are we still friends?"
"Of course, Mikah. Remember when we first met? We carved 'Mikah Quinn and Vic Fuentes friends forever' on a tree. Then, when we started to first date, we put a heart around it. Kellin was furious, threatened to kill me even! I think that was the longest run I've ever endured!" I chuckle at the thought. Kellin, my brother, had hated the idea of his best friend and his sister going out. The next day, when Vic and Kells had to preform King For A Day together, the tension was obviously there. Thankfully, everything was resolved. That was five years ago...
"Holy crap! Kellin's going to kill you! Vic, we can't tell him, please!! Not until he is less stressed... Please tell me you understand. Please Viccy..." I say suddenly coming into reality. I hear Vic sigh and he nods.
"Of course I understand. Don't worry, we'll keep it a secret for now." My ex says, pushing a piece of hair that had fallen in my face behind my ear. "I'll still do anything for you. You're my best friend, forever." Vic's voice drops to a whisper, in the same tone that made me fall in love with him in the first place.
"Thank you..." my voice lowers as well.
"You're welcome, darling." He scoots closer to me on the park bench we are sitting on. So close that we are almost touching. And then, Vic kisses me. It happens so fast that I don't know how to react. Just as quick as it happens, though, it's over.
"Wha-" i get interrupted by Vic's finger on my lips.
"Shh shh... Sorry." He begins to stand up and walk away, leaving me on a park bench with a mess of emotions engulfing me.
