Peridot p.o.v
I awoke on a cold stone floor. All I could think of was the last moments I had before I had retreated into my gem. Topaz had a muffled scream and she dissolved into light. I open my eyes all the way to reveal a green hand. "Yes!" I get up too quick and that ends with a bad headache. I look at my surroundings to find a high room with a shadaler the size of a small horse. Gargoyles lined the ceiling, each having a unique sign hanging from their neck. At the base of the wall light grey bricks rose up, covering an eighth of it. Long windows cascaded down the walls,one on each side, and each had black linen drapes to match. At the end of the room sat a huge throne with spears making a fan in the back, black velvet was used in the seat making swirls of gold appear as it ran up the back of it. Gold lined the chairs back and arm rests, making it look like it was meant for an adult, not the child I saw. A groan sounded from behind me. I turn to see Steven curled up with a bruise on his arm. "Steven?" He looked up at the sound of someone calling his name. "Peridot? H-how are you here? I thought we were fused forever!" "Well it looks like whatever that girl did unfused us." A voice echoed through the room, sending chills down my spine. "It seems you two finally woke up. I've been waiting." I stifled an angry shout as she went on. "I've also been watching, and I have to say-" I cut her short there. "Listen you little termite I have a few things to say about this place and what you've done to us." "Ah yes, stubborn and fragile yet caring Peridot!" "I'M. NOT. FRAGILE!" A wave of nausea came over me as I took a step forward. "Peridot! Are you ok?" Steven's nervous voice sounded distant as random thoughts came to my head, all of them not in my voice (A/N I barely ever think in my own voice, but for the sake of the story my OC thoughts will be in her voice) I wonder how they are. They seem like such a cute cou- fusion. That reminds me, the next episode of Gravity Falls is on. It's going to have Bill in it and I'm so excited other than people at school being like "OMG how can you like him? He is the illuminati!" Ugh, people I could also tell exactly where the unknown voice came from. "Steven, she's up there. It's a hidden door." I pointed to a spot on the wall right above where the light grey brick ended. "How do you know?" He asked, not challengingly, but curiously. "I-I don't know, I can just tell.". The girl spoke again "I guess you figured out where I am already, so-" A curtain was pushed open as she said "TA-DA!" I gasped, surprised I was right. She stepped out, so we could get a full look at her. Her skin was white and she wore a white dress with shimmering blue and purple stripes on it. Her hair was also blue and purple like her dress, and her eyes were pure white with a black line indicating where her pupils were. Wings sprouted from her back that were in the shape of crescent moons with two smaller ones on the bottom. She flew down to where me and Steven stood. "I am Moonstone and I am the sister of Lapis Lazuli."
Steven p.o.v
I looked at her, stunned. Sister of Lapis, sounded like a nice title. Moonstone swept her hair to the side as she flew back to the ledge she first appeared on. She disappeared behind the curtain and didn't come back for what felt like forever. When Moonstone finally came back, she was carrying a large ramp. "Sorry for taking so long, someone moved my board." She explained gesturing to the board in the process. "It's ok, we weren't going anywhere anytime soon." She chuckle lightly at my joke. "Well, I should show you around." She placed the ramp at the curtain and landed at the top. "The room you are in right now is the throne room where guests first come." Peridot looked around confused. "Why did you chose to defuse us?" Peridot asked with the same puzzled look. Moonstone hesitated before saying "I didn't choose to defuse." She then chuckled again at her own joke, causing me to laugh a little too. "Anyway." She said, stopping abruptly. "I know you're wondering what i'm going to do with you and stuff like that so let me cut straight to the point, The gems you were with aren't what they seem. I know you won't believe me but it's true. That's why Lapis thought you were trapped there." I turned to look at Peridot. She looked like she was going to faint. I crept over to her and asked "Are you ok?" All I got was a mumble that sounded like "I'll tell you later." Moonstone turned a corner with a door that had a diamond on it. "Don't worry, it has nothing to do with the diamonds." She assured, catching Peridot's expression. On the diamond there were four gems, A white one with small purple and blue streaks, An orange one with speckles of white, A blue one that looked exactly like Lapis, and a chartreuse one with a white streak down the center. "This is our temple. It's is much like yours except we had it originally." I turned to look at Moonstone. He didn't trust her that much to begin with and he was beginning to distrust her even more. The blue gem began to glow, and a water pattern formed. It split to make way for someone to exit, and there she was standing at the door way. "Steven?"
