Chapter one "windows and doors"
Itwas too late, I was too late. As I walk up to the old creaking house the woodendoor has been bashed off of its hinges. I cautiously step inside the old houseand have already seen signs of struggle, nail marks on the wall, tables andchairs toppled on to their side. As I continue through the house I hear a noiseupstairs. I raise my cold metallic pistol. I start to sweat and tremble. I'm onthe top floor and there are only two rooms one a bedroom and another abathroom. I first check the bathroom. Nothing here, "to the next room" I whisper.I enter the room to see the murderer making a sign on the wall. He looks at meand immediately runs for the window and leaps out in to the back yard.
