Where am I? Why am I here? How come I feel empty..? How come...I can't remember?
"Kaneki-San?" A voice said.
I turn to look, finding Mutsuki standing across from the porch. I smiled warmly at him. "Ah, Mutsuki..." I said.
"Kaneki-San, what're you doing out here? Come back inside, you'll get sick if you stay out too long." he said, smiling back.
"Then," I started, looking back at the sky."is okay if you take me out for a walk?"
Mutsuki panicked. "Ah-um... Let me check with the Doctor first. She should be in her room right-."
"No."
"What?" He asked.
I shook my head. "Scratch that..."
He then sweat dropped. "Then..."
"Just stay with me, Mustuki... Just a little bit longer and I'll come back inside..." I said, smiling at him.
He then lightly blushed and quickly nodded, looking down. I waved him over. "Come over here."
He nodded again quickly, walking up to me. I then hugged him, his eyes wide in surprise and shock.
"W-Wha..! What's wrong, Kaneki-San..!?" He asked nervously, blushing like crazy.
I snuggled my face into his small shoulder. "Mnn... Let me stay like this for a little longer, Mustuki... Sorry........"
Mustuki bit his bottom lip and nodded gently. "H-Hai..."
I squeezed a little tighter then clenched my hands into fists. Why? Why do I feel so close to you, Mutsuki..? But when I see the Doctor... I feel so distant and uneasy.
"Kaneki-San..." He suddenly said. "You must be thinking really hard again."
I loosened my hug on him and furrowed my brows. "... Yes I am..."
He then smiled. "You must be wondering about Doctor..."
I nodded. He then chuckled. "It's okay if you think he's weird or scary-he just has that vibe to him..! I was also like you when I first met her-a distant place. And a uneasy feeling..." he said, muttering the last two sentences.
My eyes widened and I pulled away from the hug. "Ah-I feel the same way!"
He looked at me surprised, then he smiled warmly. "Is that so?"
I nodded. "Actually, I think she's too strict-like a mom."
He then nodded too. "More like your dad, you mean."
I chuckled. "You're right. A strict daddy..."
Silence fell onto us.
"... Ah, let's go inside, you must be cold, Kaneki-San..! I don't want that, and so does Doctor-so come on." He grabbed my hand and started to drag me inside, sliding the door open.
I smile, following along. Maybe it's fine not knowing or remembering anything.
