Flat Line
The camera captures the mountains
Above and below the surface.
The largest mountains are recorded
And the smallest are taken into account.
The mountains are strong.
Some are tall with rounded tips,
Others are small with sharp points.
But nonetheless,
they are strong.
Then one day,
They started to quake.
People ran about,
trying to stop the catastrophe
That was about to take place.
They pulled out their special tech,
trying to see what has made
These strong mountains quake.
Someone shouts out orders
And more people are running about.
They prepare for the worst
And then the strongest mountains flat line.
Someone shouts out orders,
People ran about,
The next mountains have flat lined.
Soon,
The mightiest mountains
Can't be detected by the monitors-
Above or below the surface.
"Look for the other mountains,
Where are the other mountains?"
The monitors find the smaller mountains,
But the victory is short lived as they too have flat lined.
The people can't do anything to save the mountains,
They're gone.
