"So i heard Riker is taking you camping ALONE?" Rocky asks smirking at me. "Yes alone an NOT LIKE THAT!" I say yelling when i get to the last couple words. Rocky laughs, "whatever you say Nova whatever you say!" I shake my head as Rocky walks off and Hannah walks up to me.
"So what did you think of my little prank i pulled on Ross?" She asks grinning. "That was by far the best prank i have ever seen!" I exclaim and Hannah laughs, "yes i know it was fabulous!" She says flipping her hair and striking a pose. Ross walks up behind her, "that was so not cool!" He says.
"yeah it kinda was!" Riker says walking up behind him. Ross jumps and turns around, "No its wasn't! do you know how worried i was?!" Riker laughs, "yeah i can kinda understand that but once you get past that it was hilarious!" "Go away!" Ross grumbles and Riker walks off laughing.
Ross turns back to Hannah who grins at him and says, "That was some pretty impressive acting though! You gotta admit! Making myself cry like that" "Yeah how did you do that?" I ask. "I just thought about how boring the world would be without me and i couldn't take the sadness!" I laugh, "wow Hannah just wow!" Hannah laughs and is about to say something when i crying Trevor walks into the room, "excuse me i have a little kid to cheer up!" Hannah says then she turns and walks over to Trevor.
I look at Ross who is just standing there shaking his head. "I don't know how i love her but i do." I laugh and Ross walks off. I shake my head and plop down on the Lynches couch. I turn the TV on and flip to Disney channel (yes i still like Disney!) some random show is on and i start to watch it.
Wow Disney has gotten very crude nowa days. I wonder what the shows will be like in 5 years from now? Riker walks into the room and looks at the TV. "Really? Disney?" "what I like Disney! There's nothing wrong with it!" Riker shakes his head, "you amaze me!" I laugh and Riker sits down next to me.
"ready to leave to go camping tomorrow?" I shake my head, "I will never be ready! I don't like camping!" "Come on it will be fun!" "i highly doubt that! Were are we going anyway?" "The redwoods, i heard it gorgeous there!" I snort, "yeah and like 9 hours away!" "come on it'll be fun!" "whatever you say Riker!" I say standing up. "don't forget to pack! we're leaving at like 5 in the morning!"
I sigh and walk over to my house. I grab a duffel bag and start throwing clothes in it. I hear the door open down stairs and i hear voices, "but mommy i don't want to go to bed! I'm not tired!" Trevor cries. I hear Tiffany laugh, "well you to go to bed its almost 8!" I hear Trevor 'awww' then Tiffany tucking him in.
Tiffany pokes her head in my room, when she sees me she walks into my room and sits on my bed. "Geez! Kids are so much work!" She sighs lying down on my bed. I laugh, "At least Trevor isn't one of the maniac kids who never listen to anyone! He's sweet!" Tiffany laughs, "yeah you're right!"
"so i heard Rikers taking you camping." Tiffany continues and i groan. "yeah he is, against my will!" Tiffany laughs, "you'll have fun!" "How do you know?" "because i've been camping before, its fun!" I nod, "sure whatever you say." "come on just have an open mind! What do you have against camping anyway?"
I shrug, "I don't really know it just seems gross!" Tiffany roles her eyes, "well its not! its fun! Now hurry up so we can eat dinner!" "whats for dinner?" "Ramen Noodles." I laugh, "wow very gourmet!" "isn't it!" I laugh because its true for Tiffany that's fancy food!
After i finish "packing" I head down stairs with Tiffany and dig into our "gourmet food" After dinner i drag all my stuff over to the Lynches house so we can leave right away tomorrow. Tiffany and I enter the Lynches house to see everyone throwing food at each other.
I look at Tiffany who is looking just as shocked as I feel. It's an all out food fight, even Stormie and Mark have joined in! "Hey guys! hey! HEY WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON!!" I scream making everyone stop and look at me. Stormie goes red when she sees us standing there, she looks at her hand which has mashed potatoes in it, poised to throw at Rocky.
"uh hi Nova, just a family argument gone waaaayy out of control." Stormie says dropping the mashed potatoes and looking around at the messed up dining room. I snort, "what happened?" Ross looks over at us and tries to brush mashed potatoes out of his hair, "ew i have to wash this stuff out! Oh well Ryland wanted something i forgot what and mom said no and they were arguing and Rocky made fun of Ryland and Ryland flicked food at him and Rocky flicked some back but hit Rydel instead and started an all out war."
I burst out laughing and almost fall over into a blob of salad. "Well you guys are in big trouble! you're all grounded!" Mark says crossing his arms. Riker looks at him, "dad you were a part of this as much as we were." Mark sighs, "ok ok fine just help clean up!"
I look over at Tiffany who looks at me, we start to walk quickly towards the stairs and as soon as we get there we charge up the stairs into Riker and Rockys room. We collapse on their beds laughing, "if that happened in my family i would get in so much trouble!" Tiffany giggles. "I know right!" I laugh.
After about and hour the Lynches troop into the room looking exhausted. "who knew cleaning up the dining room could be so tiring?" Ross says collapsing on Rikers bed next to me. "I know like seriously it wasn't even that much work!" Riker says collapsing on his bed on the other side if me. Ryland and Rocky fall onto Rockys bed next to Tiffany and Rydel lies on the floor.
"I am so tired!" Riker moans. "To tired to go camping tomorrow?" I ask hopefully. "Not even close!" Riker responds. "Dang it!" Riker laughs and cuddles close to me. "wow you really are tired!" I say looking down at Riker. "I think its time for bed." Rydel says standing up. "yeah g'night guys." Ross says getting up.
Everyone leaves and i look down at Riker. "hey Riker!" I say. I'm greeted with a snore. Riker has fallen asleep on my lap! I look around and shrug then lay back at a crooked angle and fall asleep. I wake up to the warmth and comfort of Rikers arms. He must have woke up last night and fixed my position because im my head is definitely were my feet were last night.
Riker looks down at me, "Ready to go camping?" He asks grinning at me. I groan and look at the clock, its 4:30 in the morning. "you have got to be kidding me!" I moan. Riker shakes his head, "nope" "hey since we're up so early how bout we wake the others up to?" Riker looks at me, "How."
"How many amps do you have?" I ask. Riker counts them off with his fingers, "1, 2, 3, 4, 5. 5 why?" "we just need 3." I tell Riker grinning. "wha?" "Can i have a microphone and get a guitar or something loud." I tell Riker who looks at me confused. "Uhhh ok."
Riker leaves the room and comes back with 3 amps his bass and a microphone. "here but i still dont get why you need this." He says. "yay! thanks now can you like hook them up cuz i dunno how." Riker hooks up the amps to the instruments and i honestly don't know how he did it but he did. I grab the amps and place one in Rydels room, another in Ryland and Rosses room, and the last one in Rocky and Rikers room.
I turn to Riker, "Ok first lets pack up the car and get the engine running because i have a feeling they wont be all that happy." I say gesturing in the general area of the Lynches room. Riker nods, "good idea." We throw all our stuff in the van and start it up then we run back up the stairs.
I turn to Riker, "Ok play something really loud and really awesome!" I tell him and he laughs. Riker starts to play his bass in what sounds like a slightly modified version of the beginning of My Confession. I hold the microphone to my mouth and yell into it, "GOOD MORNING LYNCH FAMILY!!!! WE ARE LEAVING ON OUR CAMPING TRIP AND WOULD LIKE TO SAY GOOD BYE!!! WELL BYE!!!!" I yell right as Ross yell, "shut the hell up!!" and Rocky yells, "you have 5 seconds!" I look at Riker and we bolt down the stairs just as Ryland, Ross, Rocky, and Rydel walk out of their rooms looking EXTREMELY angry.
Riker and I jump in the van an i yell out the window, "See you in a week!" as we drive off. Once we get out of the neighbor hood and get on the freeway i cant help it and i crack up. "That was so much fun!" I laugh as Riker laughs to but not as hard cuz he's driving.
6 Hours Later
"Are we there yet?" I moan looking at Riker who chuckles, "we've still got around 3 hours." I groan and lean way back in my seat so it looks more like a bed. "I'm bored!" I whine. "lets play the ABC game." Riker suggests. I sit up and look at him, "whats that?" Riker snorts, "you don't know what that is?" He asks aghast.
I shake my head, "no." "well then. Its a game were you have to find the alphabet in the signs outside and who ever gets the whole alphabet wins." Riker explains. "ok sounds simple enough lets play." "Ready set go!" Riker says. I immediately find out that its not that easy. Once i got to Q i got stuck.
Riker found the Q first but i found the next one! Soon we are both stuck on Z. "Come on! weres a stinking Z!" I exclaim looking out the window. "How should i know?" Riker asks and I laugh, "that was a question that wasn't supposed to have an answer!"
Suddenly I see it a sigh that says: Redwood Plaza. "Z!" I yell. "what were?" Riker asks looking around. "hey eyes on the road!" I say as we swerve slightly. "oh sorry, were did you see the Z?" He asks. "back there a sigh said Redwood Plaza." "dang it!" Riker exclaims. I laugh and lay back in my seat again.
3 Hours Later
"Riker?" "yeah?" "we should get a fish." "what?" "we should! when we get married and move in together we should get a fish." "why a fish?" "I don't know, there pretty." "huh, i prefer animals that i can actually touch." "Fine!"
"Nova" "Hmm?" "you have a funny laugh." "WHAT?!" "you do! its like in between an obnoxious laugh and a cute laugh." "oh thanks!" "not to sound offensive." "how was that not offensive?" "I dunno it just wasn't supposed to be." "whatever."
"Riker you drive worse then Ross at times!" "I do not!" "yeah you do! you drive like a maniac at times!" "so that's not how Ross drives." "So how does Ross drive?" "Ross drives like a DRUNK maniac! big difference!" "Really?" "Oh yeah drunk maniacs go a lot faster." "scary" "yeah"

"Were here" Riker says getting out of the car. I get out and walk over to were he's standing. "woah." I murmur. "woah is right." Riker says. Before me is tree after tree, but these arn't normal trees these are HUGE!! Like i don't know some of them have to be at least 50 feet around and 100 feet tall!
"Those are some big trees!" I comment. Riker nods, "oh yeah!" The trees are giant, red, and absolutely beautiful! "Welcome to Redwood National Park" Riker murmurs.
