Monday at School
Calista's P.O.V
I don't know what I am going to do with myself. I mean yeah now I can go to play everyday but other than that, I have nothing to keep my mind off of him. I can't believe this. I loved him... I still love him but that's not that point. I'm still in his seminar class. I have to see him everyday for thirty minutes and when we get to seminar today I look at him I can see the hurt in his face and it confuses the hell out of me. If he is that upset about it then why doesn't he just apologize now and get it over with and we can be happy.
Unless he has a super good reason for this that he's not telling me, I don't think I could ever forgive him. He was my world. My one and only and then he goes and does this. I'm really hoping that through this I can at least become better friends with Brooke. I have been meaning to talk to her more and hangout with her but because I've been so wrapped up with Kayden I haven't hung out with anyone else except for Jared. But my plan today is to talk to her after school and see if she wants to hangout so we'll have to see how it goes.
*School three weeks later*
"Calista's P.O.V*
Just like I thought the past three weeks have been living hell. Crying myself to sleep almost every night. I seriously go to school, go to play, go to Jared's maybe bring Brooke with me since we have become better friends, and do homework then sleep. That is my life. I don't eat very much at all, if I'm lucky I get one meal and that's usually lunch because Beth, and Brooke force me to eat. They now know the whole story and try to make me feel better and Brooke helps me a lot during play and stuff and I'm supposed to be staying at her house tonight since it is Friday. And next Monday will make two weeks before I graduate. I already applied and got into a community college with Brooke to be a vet tech which is what I've always wanted to do. But as soon as I graduate my and Brooke are moving into a dorm there and starting our new lives. But for now I just have to get through the next two weeks.
*Graduation day Kayden's P.O.V*
The last six weeks have been living hell for me and every time I see Calista I can see the hurt on her face but hopefully that will all change today. I watch the graduation ceremony and I watch as she walks across the stage and grabs her diploma and she walks out of the gym and I run after her, her back is towards me so when I catch up with her I grab her arm gently, spin her around and kiss her. It takes a bit but she kisses back and the pulls away.
"Calista I am so sorry for everything. We got caught and Mr. Paul said I had to kick you out and not see you again until you got your diploma. I love you and never stopped. I know you probably won't except this but I'm so sorry I would have told you but Mr. Paul said that if I told you he would turn me in and then I wouldn't be able to see you ever again, and I couldn't stand the thought of that," I say and she responds by kissing me.
"So I take it you forgive me?" I ask.
"Of course I do," she says and we walk out of the school holding hands and we get in our cars and go to my house. "Kayden. I need to tell you something. Brooke and I got excepted to a community college and are moving into a dorm tonight. It's only two years and then I'll have my degree and can do whatever," she says as we walk in the door.
"I am so proud of you," I say and give her a hug.
"Do I have permission to see you on the weekend?" I ask.
"Of course you do the college is just the next town over. Just promise not to fall in love with any other students while I'm gone," she says with a wink as she wraps her arms around my neck. I've missed this feeling since she's been gone.
"I promise. Promise me you won't fall for any of those college professor," I say wrapping my arms around her waist and winking at her.
"I promise," she says and kisses me. "I missed you so much. No one could comfort me like you can. Jared tried and every time he held me in his arms, it didn't feel right, because he isn't you and it wasn't your arms. I love you Kayden," she says.
"I love you too Calista," I say.
That night Brooke comes over while we are watching a movie and making dinner.
"Hey Brooke. Would you like to join us for dinner before we leave for college?" Calista asks.
"I would love to. Oh and by the way I am glad you two worked things out. I know it was living hell for both of you. But Kayden I wish you would have ended it better then that," she says.
"I know you told me this all the time in class," I say.
"Wait Brooke you knew about this?" Calista asks.
"Yeah he ranted about you every seminar class you just did't hear cause you were on the other side of the room with headphones in and then in Heath and wellness I actually got to sit out without getting points taken away most of the time because he wanted to talk. I knew I couldn't tell you but that's why I always told you that he would come around and take you back and you always said it wasn't ever going to happen because he didn't love you anymore," Brooke says as I finish dinner and get everyone a plate of food.
"Now it all makes since," Calisat says and eats some food. "To be honest this is probably the most food I have since that happened. I only ate lunch because it made Brooke and Beth happy,"
"Babe I am so sorry. Words can't explain how sorry I am," I say.
"I know babe it's ok I promise. It's over and done with, and now we are together again and I'm going to college and life is good right now. Don't ruin it with that," she says laughing a bit.
"Ok let's just enjoy this moment before you guys have to leave," I say.
The rest of the night we just sit and talk and eat. All to soon it is time for them to go. We say goodbye and I give Calista a goodbye kiss and I hug Brooke and whisper thank you in her ear. She just chuckles and nods and mouths the words your welcome.
She helped both of us get through the past six weeks and without her we couldn't have done it. I can never thank her enough for it and she will always be a great friend of ours forever and always. Just like I will forever and always love Calista.
epilogue
Calista's P.O.V
In the end it was all just to save us not end us. To be honest most girls would be mad and then get over it, but me I was just over it. He explained and I never stopped loving him and he never stopped loving me. Getting home, in our house, the feeling was amazing.
At the time it had been over a month since I had been in that house. In our house.
Kayden doesn't like to admit this because he doesn't want everyone to think he's needy or something like that but that day when we got home after not doing it for six weeks. We fucked. Without a condom and yes he got me pregnant with my first kid at the age of 18. I had a little girl and she was born five months early and didn't make it. We were both devastated.
Despite that I still finished college and got a job and then we got married. It was a small wedding. It was white and teal and I had a strapless white sparkly dress on and he had a black tux with a teal tie. The brides maids had teal short dresses on and Brooke was the only one who wore cowgirl boots cause she hates dresses but I gave her permission to do so. The guys had black tuxedos on and super hero shirts on under their tuxedoes, Kayden had a batman shirt under his, and his best man Andrew, Kayden's best friend who became my best friend also after I was out of high school. The three of us hung out all the time and his friend Hannah became like a sister to me and Brooke. She was also one of my bridesmaids and might I add, she looked great at my wedding. It was one of the best days of my life, besides meeting Kayden and having my first child come into this world.
After the wedding we went to California for our honeymoon and there is when I got pregnant for the second time and gave birth to a little boy who we named Kendal who is now two and we adopted a fifteen year old boy named Jack and we just had a little girl named Claudia who is now three months old. I love my kids my husband and my "sisters" Brooke and Hannah, who are my best friends who is like my sisters. But I love all of them and couldn't ask for a better family and a better life. I will forever and always remember the story of me and Kayden, just like I will forever and always love him.
