Sung Choon-Hee's POV:
Min Seo-Hyun's Welcome Home party was full of a series of unfortunate events. I can't even explain what I'm feeling right now... Which kind of makes me fear for Min Seo-Hyun's Birthday Party tomorrow. I just have a really bad feeling about this party too. Ahh! No, I mustn't think like this. I shook these thoughts out of my mind as I trotted across Shinwa High School's field, in my remodeled school uniform (my more fitted dress shirt, the sleeves rolled up just below my elbows, and school skirt). I shivered intensely as I entered the school. Ughh! Why is it so cold today?
School was like a typical school day cramped, except I was surrounded by rotten, spoiled brats. I amazingly managed to get through school without snapping at one of the students. I called for a personal car as I stepped down the stairs leading to the front doors of the school. I stopped in my tracks when I saw the weather outside. It's snowing?! Great. And I just had to wear a skirt.
It's Korea. Get used to it, you baby.
It's not my fault... I'm not used to Korean weather yet.
Some time had passed and I decided to wait outside for my car. Woooo! It is COLD! I, for some apparent reason, took off my backpack and held it in my hands. I constantly shivered, and decided to put my backpack back on (to at least get some warmth back in my body). Before I could move, I felt some thing cover my back and shoulders, causing me to slightly jump. Huh? I turned my head to the left, and looked on my shoulder. I heard shoes shuffling on my right, and slowly turned my attention towards the shuffling sound. To my surprise it was Woo-Bin. I looked at both of my shoulders, and smiled. I looked back at Woo-Bin elegantly walking towards his car, get in and drive off. I could of sworn he winked at me. After Woo-Bin exited out of the school premises, my car showed up. I opened the door, tossed my bag inside got in. I arrived at home, and was originally welcomed by the maids and Mr. Butler, but this time they stayed inside. Smart choice. I asked for a Cappuccino be sent to my room, as I headed up stairs to my room to immediately change into a warmer outfit.
Song Woo-Bin's POV:
I turned the corner, leading into the school, and slowed down. I pulled into the front of the school and sighed. Another day of school... Before I cut off my engine, I noticed someone walking across the field. I squinted my eyes, trying to figure out who it was. It was clearly a girl, but who was she? As she came closer to the school, I noticed she wasn't wearing a school uniform. Could that be Choon-Hee? I finally cut off my car engine and got out of my car. I was about to call Choon-Hee's name, but held my tongue. I had nothing to tell her, so why would I call her name?
Because you like her, don't you? Just call her name. I mean, she is your girlfriend.
Shut up! No I don't! I don't like Choon-Hee! Jun-Pyo put a title on us to get closer to that Jan-Di girl.
Sure. Just keep on telling yourself that. Song Woo-Bin.
I clarified, to myself, that the girl was Choon-Hee, and walked towards the school. Choon-Hee had already entered the school, and was probably already long gone. I entered the school, and walked towards F4's little hangout.
When I entered, Jun-Pyo was concentrating on the tv. As if something exciting was suppose to happen. The chef made me a cup of coffee and handed it to me as I stood by Yi-Jung. I watched the tv and saw Jan-Di on it shouting, stomping and pacing. I figured out that it was a live recording being connect to the tv. The person recording zoomed out and I saw that there were ducks(?!) in the pool. How the hell did Jun-Pyo manage to do that? Jun-Pyo exploded out of laughter every time Jan-Di yelled, stomped her feet and angrily paced back and forth.
"He's been giggling like this since we got here," Yi-Jung explained to me.
"This is the first time I've seen him work so hard at something," I replied with a slight tone of awe in my voice.
"Why, of all things, does it have to be tormenting a poor transfer student?" Yi-Jung asked, deeply sighing.
"Yeah," I started, before starting anther sentence. "And if you think about it, isn't she his savior?" I questioned.
"He's repaying her grace with enemy-like behavior," Yi-Jung stated, fully catching Jun-Pyo's attention, and causing me to chuckle quietly.
"Yah! What do you mean, 'enemy' ? This is my version of gratitude. Why else would you think I would stop to do something like this, and spare a glance at a nobody like her?" Jun-Pyo responded to the both of us, as if we were stupid.
"If she's anything like a normal person, I doubt she'll be thankful after being put through something like that," Yi-Jung shot back, in the calmest tone ever.
"Sikkeuleo! (Shut up) Are you being the righteous one now because Ji-Hoo's not here?" Jun-Pyo replied back to us, clearly defeated by Yi-Jung's comeback.
"Speaking of Ji-Hoo, where has he gone?" Yi-Jung asked, changing the subject.
"You know what? I'm actually really curious as to what happened at the party," I added in.
"It's another lovers' quarrel. Min Seo Hyun, she's so complicated." Yi-Jung pointed out, slightly shaking his head.
"What a pathetic guy!" Jun-Pyo stated, causing both Yi-Jung and I to shoot our heads at him "If he likes her then he should just snatch her up! What's so hard about it?" Jun-Pyo said, as if it was the easiest thing to do, before returning to the tv and laughing.
Yi-Jung and I scoffed and stared at him as if he were crazy. We turned our backs on him, and continued to drink our coffee.
"Oh, speaking of Ji-Hoo, this was left here earlier by him, I think, and I guess it's for you," Yi-Jung explained before handing me a black envelope.
I took the envelope and examined it. It had Choon-Hee's name written on it. Yi-Jung smiled at me before taking a seat.
~~After School~~
I exited out of the F4 personal classroom, and headed towards the door. I reached in my trench coat's pocket, for my phone, but stopped when I felt something poke at me. I pulled it out, and Choon-Hee's envelope stared right back at me. Oh yeah. I forgot about you... I slowly walked down the stairs, before looking up. I stopped in my tracks when I saw Choon-Hee standing outside in the snow with no jacket. I placed the envelope back in my pocket. I pulled off my trench coat and hung it on my arm. I opened the door, and grabbed my trench coat. I held them on both my hands, before placing them on Choon-Hee's shoulders. I walked pass her right shoulder, and to my car. I pulled my car keys out from my jean pocket, and unlocked my car. I dusted off some of the snow from my car handle and got in my car. I started my engine, and slowly started driving off. I winked at Choon-Hee, just to tease her. I drove off and headed home.
Sung Choon-Hee's POV:
I headed inside my room and dropped my back pack on the foot of my bed. I took off Woo-Bin's trench coat and heard a THUD. What was that? I turned around to see a phone on the ground. Please don't be Woo-Bin's phone. Oh god. Please no. I picked it up and stared at it. Yep. I'm screwed. I'm absolutely positive this is Woo-Bin's phone, because my phone does not look like this. I picked up Woo-Bin's trench coat and placed his phone back in his pocket, but stopped mid-way through when a black envelope caught my eye. I picked the envelope up and looked at it. It had my name written on it. My name's written on it... Does that mean I get to open it? I took my chances and closed my eyes as I opened the envelope. I pulled out the paper, placed inside, and started reading it. Oh! It's an invitation card to Min Seo Hyun-Unnie's Birthday Party! I'm guessing that you have to have a invitation card to get in. So it's that kind of party... Oh well. At least I get to go, right? I'll return Woo-Bin's phone tomorrow at sch-Noooo! Tomorrow's Saturday! Dang It. I guess he has to wait until the party to get his phone back. Must suck for him right now.
I set my invitation on my desk and opened my wardrobe to search for warm clothes. I grabbed some clothes and headed into my bathroom. I decided to take a warm shower, so I could easily get warmth inside me. By the time I was finished, my Cappuccino was sitting on my desk next to my invitation card. I sat down in my desk chair and examined it while I sipped my Cappuccino. I set my invitation card down and walked over to my bed, picking up Woo-Bin's phone and jacket. Did he purposely do this? The card is understandable, but his phone? Why couldn't he just write it on a piece of paper an- Oh. Yeahh... He has. I got up, once again, to search for my phone in my backpack. I took my phone out of my backpack and walked over to my bed stand. I opened the drawer and picked up the crumbled napkin, with tiny brown coffee stains splattered on it. I trotted over to my desk and leaned on it. I unlocked my phone and took a deep breath. Well, here goes nothing. I typed in all of the numbers listed. Once I finished, I scrolled through my contacts and passed by
"Curls"
"Ji-Hoo"
"Play Boy Yi-Jung"
"Guy I'm Forced to Go Out With"
Perfect. I finished the rest of my coffee and walked it down stairs. I started heading back to my room, but stopped myself when I passed the room from last week. I walked back and slowly opened the door. The door creaked as I pushed the door open. I walked in and looked all around the room. Closets were filled with hundreds of dresses, and thousands of shoes. I opened every closet, sucking in all the beauty from the dresses. I couldn't help myself. I just couldn't. I grabbed one of the dresses and put it on. I was having so much fun putting on the dresses. I must of lost track of time, because by the time I was done, it was already pitch black outside.
"Huh. I didn't even realize how dark it got," I mumbled to myself, as I leaned against the windowpane, looking out of the window.
I stood up straight and closed the blinds before turning to change into my casual clothes. Once I finished, I headed out to the door. I shuffled my feet towards the door, taking my time. I walked pass the final closet, but stopped. Something shined in the corner of my eye. I turned my head towards the closet and grinned. I walked to the closet and closed the closet doors silently, a smile still plastered on my face. I leaned against the closet door and sighed. I know where I'm gonna spend the rest of my days in Korea now. Walking out of the room I turned around, observing my surroundings, before turning off the lights and closing the room door.
I started to head up to my room, but was distracted by a nose catching smell(Haha. You get it? Because your eyes can't smell? And you say "eye catching" instead? Ha-No? *ahem* Okay. Movin' on!). Woahh! What is that?! That smells- *deeply inhales* AMAZING!!! I entered the dinning room and meet my brother and father in there. I ate a small dinner of Kimchi Bokkeumbap (fried rice), and had small talk with my family before heading to bed. I slipped into my sleepwear before laying in bed. I couldn't sleep. It must have been the butterflies in my stomach awaiting for the next day. I tossed and turned, for what felt like hours. I finally managed to fall asleep. Let's hope it's enough sleep for tomorrow. Wouldn't want to look grotesque all day. God that would suck.
~~The Next Morning...Like around 6:30 in the morning~~
I woke up feeling groggy. *sigh* I feel like crap. I looked at my clock and groaned at the time. 6:35?! Why so early? I got out of bed and shuffled my feet towards my bathroom. I took my time taking care of myself. I exited my bathroom, grabbing my soft pink robe in the process. Throwing my robe on, I put on my bunny slippers, before marching to the dinning room.
When I got downstairs I noticed that nobody, but the maids and Mr. Butler, was awake. Geez. What time do they wake up? I roamed the halls of my house, observing and collecting everything I saw hanging on the walls. I had a sudden craving for coffee. I headed back to my room and changed into ripped jeans and a flowy t-shirt. I pulled my black high-top Converse on. Dragging Woo-Bin's trench coat along, I grabbed my phone and called for a personal car. When the car pulled up to my house, I told the driver the directions towards my coffee shop. (Okay. It's really not my coffee shop, but I work there and it sounds better like that.) I thanked my driver before opening the car door.
"Good morning Manager Dong-Sun!" I spoke aloud to my manager.
"Oh! Miss Choon-Hee! Good morning!" Manager replied back with a smile. "But what are you doing here? You don't work today," Manager asked confused.
"Well, I was in the area, so I decided to drop by and see if help was needed here," I chuckled, scratching the back of my head.
"Really? Umm, I guess you can work Miss Shin Hae-Won's shift today. She called in sick just a couple minutes ago," Manager Dong-Sun explained to me, placing an apron on the counter.
Alright! I have something to do to kill time! At the end of the work day, I finished around 4:55 pm. I thanked Manager Dong-Sun and called for a personal car. The car came to pick me up, and it took me straight home. After telling the driver to please wait, I headed right towards the "Beauty Room" and opened the door. What? The room doesn't have a name, so the "Beauty Room" it is. I went to one of the closets and searched for the dress that I fell in love with yesterday. I finally found it and walked over to the "changing room". I took my clothes off and stepped into the dress. I walked out of the room and towards a mirror. The red thin double strapped, split legged skirt wrapped around my beautifully.
Next, I looked for high heels that would match the dress. Oooh! When did dad get nude Louboutin's? But that's not what I'm looking for today. I continued to search through the closets looking for matching shoes. I finally found these beautiful black strappy high heels. I slipped them on and admired them. Grabbing a red clutch, I sat down on the chair where the makeup and curling irons, wands and hair straighteners sat on the makeup table.
Finally, the hair and makeup. I'm not good with makeup, but I'm alright with hair. I decided to let my hair down with loose curly waves. Just to throw a little bit of fanciness into my hairstyle. I applied some pink lip gloss on my lips and sighed. That was easiest thing to do with makeup. I reached for the makeup, but turned around when I heard a maid walk in.
"Annyeong," I smiled awkwardly. "Would you mind helping me with my makeup?" I desperately asked her.
She smiled back and walked towards me. She grabbed the makeup and got to work. It took her a quick 15 minutes. She smiled again and set the makeup supplies down on the table. She also handed me a pair of chandelier diamond earrings. I thanked her and walked out of the room, while putting on the earrings. I was about to leave before I remembered something. I walked back to the room, towards the tiny "dressing room", grabbing my phone and Woo-Bin's trench coat, dusting it off. I then walked up stairs and into my room. I grabbed my invitation card and Woo-Bin's phone laying on my table and held it in my hand. Shoving my phone in my red clutch, I walked out the front door and towards my car.
~~At The Party~~
Coincidentally, I had arrived the same time as F4. I got out of my car and headed towards them. I tapped Woo-Bin on the shoulder, causing him to turn around and look at me.
"Umm, here you go," I said, not making eye contact, before handing him his trench coat and phone.
I quickly turned around the other way, sweeping my hair behind my ear. I tapped my cheeks with the back of my hands, embarrassed that I was blushing. God. Why am I blushing? I don't even like him. I walked inside the building, invitation in hand. Entering the room, I bowed at everybody. I walked along side a table of flowers, waiting for F4 to walk in. Once they walked in, they walked straight to the table furthest in the back. Following a long side them, I held my head up high and smiled. I stood to the right of Woo-Bin, facing towards the room. Yi-Jung had walked off a couple tables ahead of us to flirt with some girls. *scoff* Of course he would. Surprisingly Woo-Bin didn't go join Yi-Jung, he stayed put right next to me, our hands almost touching.
"Umm," Woo-Bin started before being cut off.
Riing. Riing. Riing.
"Oh! U-Um. Excuse m-me," I stuttered, pulling my phone out of my handbag, bowing at everyone staring at me. (A/N: She's apologizing by bowing, if you didn't know. Or something like that. I'm not exactly sure, but that's what they do in K-Dramas. XD)
I finally managed to fish my phone and answer it. It was my dad. I talked to him for awhile before hanging up. I put my phone back and turned around, sighing. I caught Woo-Bin staring at me. I waved a little wave at him, snapping him back into reality. I-Is he blushing? Awee. That's cute. I headed back to F4, cutting through the other tables.
"You said you would call me," Girl 1 whined to Yi-Jung.
"You said that to me too!" Girl 2 whining even more.
"Me too!" Girl 3 wailed, trying her best trying to get his attention.
"Yah. Who'd you come with?" Girl 2 asked Ji-Jung, clearly trying to hint at him.
"Umm," Yi-Jung started, scratching the back of his head, before getting interrupted by them.
"I'll be your date!" Girl 3 suggested as she started grabbing Yi-Jung's arm.
"Ha! Are you kidding! I called dibs on him!" Girl 2 claimed.
Absolutely annoyed by this, I walked behind him, touched his shoulder and whispered in his ear "Good luck" before walking towards Curls and Woo-Bin. As I walked away I could hear the girls ask who I was and if he was dating me. Ha! Don't they know I'm dating...Woo-Bin... When I reached Curls and Woo-Bin, I took my original spot I did before. I turned my attention to the front door and smiled. Woah! Jan-Di! Where did she get that dress? She looks amazing in it! I continued to smile, as I awed over Jan-Di. My smile dropped when I saw Curls not smiling but giving her a death glare. Geez. What's up with him? Yi-Jung surprisingly managed to slipped out of those bother-some girls and walked over to Jan-Di, placing his arm over her shoulder, and leading her towards us. Jan-Di did a little bow, as a greeting, and smiled. In a blink of an eye, Jan-Di went from smiling to Woo-Bin and I, to an annoyed, pissed off face to Curls. If stares could kill, Curls would be dead right now.
"What're you doing here?" Curls asked Jan-Di, in a angry tone.
"I was invited by Seo Hyun, and I didn't want to be rude, so I came," Jan-Di replied back with complete annoyance in her voice.
"Did you rob a department store, or something?" Curls asked, trying to get under her skin.
I was getting pissed off now, and decided to stick up for Jan-Di, or at least say something to shut Jun-Pyo up. I opened my mouth to say something, but was cut off by Yi-Jung.
"I saw it last time too. Isn't Jan-Di really pretty when she's all spruced up?" Yi-Jung grinned.
"You're right. You're right. Out of everyone here tonight, you're the cutest," Woo-Bin added in, causing Jan-Di and I to look up and at each other.
"Well..." Jan-Di started but Curls interrupted her by scoffing.
"What do you mean 'cute'? Do you think a squash can become a watermelon by painting stripes on it?"
All of our jaws dropped. Di-Did he really just say that to her?
"Yah." I tsked at him, threatening him with my clutch, causing him to flinch and eyeball me.
"G-Gu Jun-Pyo," Yi-Jung stuttered in complete shock.
"You must have a lot of nerve to say that," Woo-Bin scoffed.
Curls just eyed us and turned away. Before Jan-Di had a come back, Ji-Hoo and Seo-Hyun walked into the room; their arms linked with one another. A big pink and white cake was rolled in front of Seo-Hyun, as Ji-Hoo was handed his violin and bow. Ji-Hoo started playing "Happy Birthday", leading everybody to start singing.
Once the song had finished and everybody started applauding; Ji-Hoo handed his violin back and immediately left the room. Yi-Jung and Woo-Bin looked at each other curiously before turning their attention back to Seo-Hyun.
