ROGUE'S POV
I've been running in my wolf form for about 9 hours none stop now, my legs are burning and my heart feels like its about to explode!
But I have to keep moving there's no way am I going back to that hell hole! I'd rather die!
It seemed as though my wish would soon be granted,
I sensed an alpha, a very powerful one to, but I'm nowhere close to any known territories.
Maybe he's one of those alphas' that hunt rogues for the fun of it!
That's it were dead, I hope you're happy now! You got your wish!
Shut up, okay! They'll have to catch us first.
Well may I remind you that we haven't eaten in days and we've been running for HOURS!!!
Maybe he'll be our mate!!
Pfft... Fat chance, were as good as dead!
So pessimistic!
But as much as I wanted to disagree with hazel, she was right, we are gonna die out here at the hands of an alpha that's hunting rogues!
I suddenly skidded to a stop, sinking my paws into the dirt. Something's wrong, really wrong.
The alpha's power just ..... disappeared?
That's definitely not possible, right?
Who knows, maybe he's got a witch helping him.
As if a rogue hunting, very powerful alpha wasn't enough! We are so dead.

I had been running for a while, when I tripped over a tree root, hot searing pain shot up my leg from my left ankle. I began to panic.
My ankle was obviously broken, and bleeding to fill the river nile, I couldn't shift back into my human form, the pain would be too excruciating. I was beginning to see stars, in a distance I heard foot steps approaching, they were really close and I accepted the fact that I was going to die as bled out on the forest floor.
The last thing I remembered before giving into the complete and utter darkness, was a snow white wolf looking at me.
We're done for, goodbye hazel.
Goodbye jasmine.
And with that I fell deep into the never ending dark abyss.

ALPHA DAMIEN'S POV
I watched as the small brown wolf shifted back into its human form, she wasn't dead, but she was getting there.
I could leave her here to die, or take her back to the pack to be treated.
We should take her to the pack doctor,
You sure about this?
Yes this one's harmless.
Obviously.
I shifted into my human form and picked her up in my arms, then sped off to take her to my pack. On my way there I mind-linked my beta David and told him to get the pack doctor at the pack house for my return.
He gave me a skeptical look when he saw a person in my arms, I shot him a look that said dont start, then passed the girl to the pack doctors. David never liked rogues and hated it when I brought them.
They took her to the hospital to fix her bleeding ankle and leave her to heal. if she survives.
"Where did you find this one?" David asked after the doctors left, "in the woods, she was running from something," I replied "I could've sensed it miles away."
"Other rogues?"
"Not sure, but whatever it is, she got a really big head start."
"Is it dangerous?" He asked through mind-link when a doctor came back.
""Probably. But until we know what it is the boarders are gonna always be guarded. I'll let you question her when she gets better. Hopefully." we turned to the doctor who was waiting patiently for us to finish. "Alpha Damien, Beta David she's lost a lot of blood, and was almost starved but some food and rest will have her up and running in no time, she's asleep now, but should be awake in a few hours." He told us before bowing and walking away. That was fast.
"I'll check up on her soon to see how she's doing." David said,
"sure, her brain needs to be fully functioning when you question her." I left him to do whatever, and went to walk through the pack village, every house looked the same, with the exception of the numbers and the colors, some had decorations while others had little gardens and flower pots.
The houses were small two-storey cottages that had five bedrooms two baths, and were warm and cosy on the inside, most of the pack members decided to stay here with their small families, other pack members decided to live in more modern houses that were a bit larger, eight bedrooms and three baths.
Its not your average description for small, but in a pack with families that have 5-9 kids, yeah, I'd put it in the small category.
I went to each house, checking to make sure that everyone was alright and that everything was as it should be before going back to the pack house.
It took me three hours to check every house in the village, when I got back to the pack house I went directly to my study to organize and put away completed pack work.
While clearing the files I saw an envelope on my desk. I took it up and opened it after reading the front.

The Dark Raven pack is hosting a gala on tuesday 27th October, we extend an invitation for you to come and enjoy this gathering with us.
We look forward to meet our new neighbor and hope that we will one day be close allies.

Huh, no wonder the wording is so nice, his beta wrote it. Don't remember a pack being close to ours, I'll have to ask David about that later.
I said come in to let the person on the other side of the door enter, "you really need to tell me how you do that" my beta said as he entered the room,
"The rooms aren't scent proof they're sound proof."
"Good point, what's that in your hands?" He asked looking at the letter.
"A letter from the dark raven pack. Have you ever heard of them?"
"Yeah, their land is near the south border that we just took." I think I'll put that on my things to do, hmmm, check all borders, and learn about every neighboring pack.
"Well, the alpha is holding a gala, for whatever reason, and wants us to attend this Tuesday."
"And you're going?"
"No, you are. No one other than my pack knows my human identity and I intend on keeping it that way for a while. Besides, we both know that I hate galas." I looked up at him, while he thought about it. "Think of it as an opportunity to find your mate." His head snapped towards me instantly,
"Well when you put it like that." He pretended to think for a while, "well then I'll grace them with my presence."
I smiled, he was always trying to find his mate, and she'll be really lucky when he finds her, granted that she's not the pack slut. That would just be heartbreaking.
David isn't the average good looking guy, he's also sweet and sensitive. The complete package, slick jet-black hair, honey brown eyes, chiseled face, the ideal package as a mate. Not the ideal beta however. Those features are a little too weak, if he wasn't my best friend and fighter I would've chosen someone else.
Well if he's that good looking then you should date em. My wolf snickered in my head.
Ok gross, you are freaking kidding me right? The day that happens is the day I die!
Well I don't really need to find my mate, I can do just fine without. they only hold you back.
I'm not that anxious either, probably best of we don't get one, I can live with that.
I shut off our connection and zoned back into the real world, completely forgetting about david who was staring at me with a weird look on his face. "Why did you come here? What did you need?"
"The rogue woke up not to long ago, the doctor says that she's stable enough for questioning." The strange look was gone and replaced with a serious one, I got up and we walked towards the pack hospital together.

When we entered the hospital, the smell of antiseptic surrounded us immediately. I had asked the pack doctor for the room number before we got to the hospital so we walked directly towards the room and entered.
JASMINE'S POV
The door to the room opened, I knew the moment I woke up that I was in a hospital, the smell of antiseptic gave it away, because everything else was blurred and fuzzy. The only thing I knew about the room was that it was a lime green color with red designs around the window edges and on two white horizontal lines on the middle of the wall.
Nevertheless, I turned my head towards the white door. two figures were standing in the door frame, power radiated off of the both of them, but I couldn't tell which was the alpha and which was beta. But I'm guessing that the tallest and bulkier figure was the alpha.
"What's you're name?" The sudden loud and thundering voice made me jump, and i hastily answered the question "Jasmine Alexander." To say that I was terrified was an understatement, "what brought you here?" Hmmm, besides running for my life? "And who or what was chasing you?" The second question threw me off a bit, how did they know that I was being chased?
"I was forced to leave my pack, while running in the neutral territory, I came across your pack territory. I wasn't planning on staying on someone's territory so I began running again, but I broke my ankle shortly after and blacked out. "What's the name of your old pack?" "Midnight shadow pack" the question that I was waiting for never came, didn't they want to why I was forced out?
The pain in my head was beginning to affect my hearing, when a new voice began talking "Jasmine, I'm going to ask you a question, and give you two options. Do you want to join our pack? Whatever happened in you old pack that forced you here will be discussed later depending on your answer, understand?"
I nodded my head yes.
"You're options are simple, you join us and we give you protection and a pack, and you tell us everything that lead you here or you don't join and we get the information we want and do to you what we normally do to trespassers."
Some choice.
"I'll join." I replied before resting my head on the pillow behind me, "good to know, get some rest we'll announce you when you get better and discharged." The first deep voice rang through the room.
I laid my head back onto the pillow, and saw the two blurs walk out the door and close it, I closed my eyes and two minutes later the door opened and slammed shut, who the hell is that!!!

ALPHA DAMIEN'S POV
we left the hospital immediately after questioning the rogue, one of my fighters ran past me and into the hospital in a hurry, pregnant wife much. I was about to run into the forest when I stopped abruptly, turned around and bolted back towards the hospital, David didn't follow he until two secondS after when a piercing scream was heard.
I burst through Jasmine's hospital room, and what I saw just pissed me off.
"Stop eating each others faces off and SIT DOWN NOW!!"
One of my fighters - Joshua - stood up immediately at attention.
"Sorry alpha, I was heading straight to the training grounds, but I came across the most amazing smell, I knew that it had to be my mate instantly and now here I am." He finished the sentence holding his mates hand and looking at her with so much love I could puke!
All my fighters know how serious I am about training so I didn't have to ask him for an explanation.
"Two hours extra training tomorrow." He bowed and I left the hospital then sprinted into the woods, David make sure that all of the borders are being watched and guarded, we don't want anymore trespassers. I'll be in the northern woods.
Yes alpha.
I shifted into my white wolf and ran deeper into the woods to a large clearing.
Why do mates act so gross? They act all lovey dovey and for no reason.
Yes I agree with you, but I guess well never know what that's like.
