Xavier was sitting on the stairs crying as well.
"Xavier go upstairs,"I whispered. He nodded and ran up. I jumped down from the landing with Toby.
"Where's Greyson," I whispered.
"In the Pantry,"replied Toby. I pulled out my gun and examined the body that was ripped apart of the Living room floor. It was Isabella. Fisher was barking at her remains trying to wake her up, but there wasn't even enough of her to turn. I picked up the puppy and handed it to Toby. He kind of hesitated but took it.
"Miranda?"I whispered. Ellie stumbled out of the kitchen towards us grumbling and moaning just like a zombie. I shot her. Her lifeless body fell over with a loud *bang* as she hit her face off the wall.
"Damn.."whispered Toby to the noise. We stepped over her and into the kitchen.
"Miranda?"I yelled now not being afraid of anything else.
"Katie? Is that you?"I heard her call back. I ran to the pantry and opened it. Greyson was sitting up. He was shirtless an had a bandage rapped around his upper stomach.
"Greyson!"I whispered hugging him. He grabbed my face and started to makeout with me?!?! MY OWN BROTHER???? WTF????
I pushed him away.
"Greyson?! WE'RE RELATED! THATS INCEST!"I yelled.
"He's messed up on medication,"said Miranda standing behind us.
"Miranda!"I yelled hugging her.
"Hello Katie,"she replied hugging me back,"is..uh Isabella upstairs?"
"Oh....Miranda. Isa-Isabella.......she um....didn't..make it,"I replied. I watched Miranda's eyes fill with tears as she fell to the ground.
"Toby go check on the kids,"I whispered. He adjusted the dog in his arms and walked away. Miranda was on the ground crying.
"Miranda...I'm..I'm so sorry,"I whispered sitting with her.
"She's safe now,"she replied whipping away tears.
I nodded. She got up.
"Can we have a proper burial for her?"asked Miranda
"Yes! For her and Ellie."
"I'll get Ellie,"whispered Greyson. He went to Ellie's body and picked her up. I could see the spot on her shoulder where she was bit. He walked outside with her. Toby came back down without the dog. Then, he went out and him and Greyson started to dig. Greyson took breaks every now and then because his wound. I started to clean up what was left of Isabella and placed it all on a pink fuzzy blanket. When I was done the tan carpet had a giant spot of red on it. I
Carried the blanket outside where everyone now gathered. I placed her into the hole and Toby started to cover her with dirt. I could see that Ellie was already buried and someone even made her a cross out of branches. We all said a few words and went back Inside just to sit in silence in the living room....
