Why is it that birds live in the sky and I'm on the ground? Maybe I wanted to fly. Maybe I don't want to be grounded my whole life. Doing things to keep me from ever being free. I am a caged bird in emptiness. Caged in my own body. Caged in a fake world. Unable to truly spread my wings. Is that all we will ever be? Caged people trapped within the confines that we have built ourselves.
