I just sat there staring at the message for god knows how long, till I finally typed in a reply.
“Hey Ravny” I didn’t have to wait long for a reply back
“I was wondering if I can see you again. “
“Yes, how about tomorrow at the park that’s a few blocks away for the café we were at today” I replied
“Sounds good. What time I should meet you there?”
“How about around one, and lets meet by the fountain”
“Ok I will meet you there sage. I can’t wait to see you again”
“Me too see you then Ravny “
I put my phone down on my desk with a big smile on my face; I have a date with Ravny. Well it might not be a date but I do get to spend some time with him, that’s what I really wanted. I got up from the desk and got a notebook from under my bed. I think I should write everything that has happen since I met Ravny. I made my way to the kitchen to get some tea when I see my brother and Jazzie talking. “What’s up?” I ask getting a confused look from both of them, “we want to talk about the dreams, the sleepwalking, and the guy” my brother said. I nodded my head as I went around the kitchen to make my tea. “Well I guess you want me to start by telling you about the new dream. There are a few parts I should skip” I said putting a pan of water on the oven. Push the bottom to boil the water. “Why do you need to skip a few parts?” Jazzie asked. “Because me and Ravny were having sex or making love and I'm sure my brother doesn’t want all the dirty details.” I said smiling “but I do so tell me later” Jazzie said laughing. I looked over to my brother and he looked a little sick, I guess the idea of his little sister having a sex dream or sex in a past life is just so wrong. After a cup of tea and me telling them about the dream leaving the sex part out. “He had wings? Like wings?” my brother asked for the third time “yes he had wings but i don’t think they were made of feathers, even though they felt like velvet.” I said as I finish writing down the last bit of the dream I just told them about. “I think it’s kind of cool that you have the same name, but the only that is really different between you and past sage is your hair.” Jazzie said looking over my notes. That true my hair in the dream was really long, it went to my back. My hair was short it doesn’t even touch my shoulders. Raven’s hair was different as well, in the dream his hair was cut short. But it still was long enough to cover his eyes; it felt like silk going through my fingers. “Earth to sage you are needed back here on earth” my brother yelling in my ear and snapping his finger at me. I gave him the what the hell look “what cant a girl think without you snapping at her” I yelled back. He just rolled his eyes and said good night going to his room. I notice that Jazzie left too, so I made my way to my room, ready to go to bed because I have a date or whatever with Ravny. I open the door to see Jazzie on the air matters that was in the closet. “ you have a message on your phone” she said reading one of my books “ and don’t forget you have to tell me the naught part of your dream tonight” I tried not to laugh as I made my way to the desk to see the message. It’s from Ravny, and I couldn’t help but to smile it look like a poem or something. I think it’s a haiku, that’s so sweet.
The moon shines above
The stars shine brightly
You fill my dreams
At night I hold you
As we dance under the stars
Till the morning light
I think I know this poem, while I was reading it could almost see and hear Ravny reading the poem to me. I read it a few more times, I just couldn’t help but to smile each time I read it. I don’t even know to write back, so I just sent a thank you with a smiley face. I put my phone on the chargers and turned around to find a smiling Jazzie staring at me. “Tell me what was on the phone and tell me about the dream…now” she said. So I told her about the poem and the dream and all she was “you lucky lucky girl” and went to bed. As I laid down for bed I wished for another dream of Ravny.
I was awoken my loud alarm clock, and my Jazzie saying something “kill that damn ringing” you can say she is not a morning person. I kill the ringing and went to take a shower; sadly I didn’t have any dreams of me and Ravny last night. After the shower I wrote the haiku poem in the notebook, and then I woke up Jazzie the only nice way I know how. I unplug the airbed and go to my closet to find something cute to wear. I take a pale blue summer dress with a pair of black sandals that kind of reminded me of the first dream, when I hear a small yelp and something hard hit the floor. This means that Jazzie is awake and fell out of the bed. “You’re really mean, there could have been a nicer way to wake me up” she said still on the floor, I just smile sweetly at her and said “but it wouldn’t be as fun”. She got up and grabbed the stuff she needed to take a shower and left sticking her tongue out at me. I stuck my tongue right back at her, oh yeah we can so act like five years olds. As she took her shower I got out my bunny bag which looked more like a Frankenstein bunny, it had patches and stitches sewn in and I loved it; it has charter. I put my notebook, cell phone, keys, Chap Stick. What am I forgetting? “Did you put your wallet in your bag?” Jazzie asked walking back in my room with nothing but a towel on. I snap my fingers like a light bulb just went off on the top of my head. Now I have ever, now I just need to tell the plan to Jazzie. The plan was simple we would go to school sign in and then leave. This is senior week and today was the senior picnic and we didn’t sign up for it but we still had to come to school and sign in. after that she would take to the park where I would wait for Ravny. If things start to go bad then I would send an already set text to Jazzie to come get me. It was already a few minutes till 1 and Jazzie was just dropping me off at the park, “Hey in case things go good there is a small party at the bookstore I work at, you and Ravny should stop by. It’s going to start at 6:30pm” Jazzie told me when I got out of the car “ok let’s hope things going well, so you can meet him.” I said with a wink. We both laughed and she drove off and I made my way to the fountain. The fountain was big and simple but I love coming here because there were rose bushes next to the benches. It is very calming and beautiful here, “hello sage” I heard someone say. I turn around to see that is Ravny, he is sitting on a bench with black backpack next to him on the ground. I just couldn’t help myself I ran to him, and he got up and caught me in his arms. It felt so good to held by him, he tightens his arms around my waist making it a little hard to breathe but I don’t care. I tighten my arms around his neck, “I’m sorry but I just had run and hug you” I said in near his ear. “Don’t be sorry I felt the same way when I saw you.” He said. We slowly break away from the embrace; it kind of felt like awkward. We just smile and sat down on the bench at the same time. “Cute bag by the way” he said as I put my bunny bag on the ground. “Yay I had Franky for a long time” I said with a smile
“Franky? Guy or girl?” he ask looking at the beg
“Guess”
“I’ll guess later after I get to know him or her more” he said we a half smile. Ok sage it’s time to focus, you have questions and he has the answer. “Ok Ravny, I have a few questions for you, since I didn’t get a chance to ask them last time”
“Ok I’ll answer them as best I can, and did you go see a doctor yet?”
“No but I didn’t forget” I so forgot “when is your birthday?”
“March 23rd”
“What year?”
“That’s something you have to find out by yourself” he said in a serous voice but he was looking at the ground.
“What’s your favorite color?”
He smiled and looked back at me “dark blue and lime green”
“What’s your favorite book or books?”
“The twilight series duh”
I bust out laughing when he said that and so did him, “Are you for real? “ I said trying my hardest not to laugh anymore.
“No, I don’t have a favorite book” he said also trying not to laugh. I nodded my head still smiling, I looked at him and I really want to hug him again. He looks at me and we are just staring at each other now. “Why do I feel like I already know you?” I asked him. Not taking his eyes off from me he takes my hand and holds it between his. “It might be because in a past life we were in love.” I really want to kiss him right now. I want to see if I get the same feeling I had in my dreams. “I really want to kiss you right now”
“I really want to kiss you too” he said moving one of his hand to my face to cup my cheek. I close my eyes to savor the feel of his touch. When I opened my eyes a little I saw that Ravny had moved closer. His lips were close to mine, but he didn’t move as if waiting for me to make the next move. I lean in and kiss his lips.
