Me and Anthony have been ignoring each other
When we see each other we act like we dont know each other
And it sucks , how can you become a stranger with someone you fell for.
All I have been doing lately is staying in my room with the lights off watching Netflix and stupid love movies
Screaming 'love sucks' at the tv and eat some ice cream
Stephanie told me we were gonna go out to the movies tonight to watch The Visit but she hasn't showed up and I been waiting here for 2 hours
My mom even went out with her friends and im here all alone , by myself , bored as ever
I texted Stephanie and called her and she didnt answer back at all
I go hear a knock on the door
Finally shes here! I run downstairs and open the door
"You are 2 hours late we missed the movie" I shut myself up when I look up and see Anthony standing there
He looks at me with his hands in his pockets
"Hey , I was gonna ask if you seen Stephanie , she hasn't been home all day"
"No actually she hasn't texted or called me back , have you texted her boyfriend"
"Yea he didnt answer back either"
"Now im worried"
"No need I know exactly what there doing , they probably out somewhere hooking up , well thanks im gonna go"
"Wait" I say and he turns around "what?"
"How do you know there somewhere hooking up , its so late and Stephanie would've told me cause we had plans tonight"
"I wasn't worried and now I am , thanks"
"We should go look for them"
"No ill go look for them , you stay here just in case they come back"
"No I wanna go with you , let me just grab my shoes and bag" I run upstairs and grab my brown bag and put it on then grab my shoes and put them on
"Lets go" we both walk to his car
As soon as we get in the car he turns the radio as if he was trying to avoid talking to me
The song chains my nick jonas comes on

I look over at Anthony and he turns the radio down , im guessing he was thinking the same thing I was
"So hows it going" hows it going really Lauren couldn't just stay quiet
"Good and you?"
"Could be better"
He stops the car "im gonna go check and see if there at zy's house" (Stephanie's boyfriend)
"Okay" i sit back in the chair
A few minutes later he comes back
He comes back in the car "his brother said they went on the other side of town and they said they was gonna be back in 1 hour but they been gone all day , so he told me hes gonna text me where they said they was going and we will go"
"Okay , I wonder what there doing all the way out there"
"Yea me too" he starts the car and gets a text
"I got where there at , you might wanna get comfortable , we gotta long drive ahead of us"
"Already am" I smile and lay back
30 minutes into driving Anthony stops the car
"Why did you stop"
"Fuck!" He hits the steering wheel
"What" I just look at him worried
"I forgot to put gas in the car"
"Oh no what are we gonna do , we are in the middle of no where , o im gonna kill Stephanie this is all her fault I could've been home watching Netflix chilling but no Stephanie had to go missing" I started panicking
"Lauren"
"What are we gonna do , I dont know anybody here"
"Lauren"
"Heck I never even been over here"
"Lauren!" He puts his hand on my thigh
I look at his hand and shut up
"We passed a hotel not to far from here we can walk"
"But what about Stephanie and zy"
"Im not worried about them right now , im worried about getting you safe" he squeezes my thigh a little
"Okay lets start walking before a unknown creature comes and tears us to shreds"
He laughs and gets out the car and we start walking in silence
We stop at a motel not a hotel a motel
"You said it was a hotel"
"Did I? Hmm" He makes this face and walks in
I follow behind him
"Hi can we have 2 rooms"

"Sorry sir , we only have 1 room left"

Anthony looks at me "is that okay with you"
"Sure"
"One minute" the lady says then hands us the key
"Follow me" and we follow her to our room
Anthony goes in the room and I grab the lady to the side
"Are you sure there's no more rooms?"
"Yes" she says very sweetly
"Okay well thank you" I go in the room and shut the door
"You didnt have to ask her , if you feel uncomfortable with me I can go back and sleep in the car"
"No im not uncomfortable its just awkward to sleep with you"
"We never really got the chance to talk things out"
"Yea well the last time I tryed to do that you screamed at me"
"I never got to apologize"
"You dont need to" I put my bag on the seat
"No I do , im sorry I screamed at you I just got frustrated , I didnt mean for us to completely stop talking to each other"
"Its ok I guess"
"It wasn't a big deal , it was just sex"
"Thats all it ever is to you"
"No I didnt mean it like that" he sighs
"Oh then you ment it was a mistake"
He face changes I can tell he felt bad
"No I" he pauses "you know I deserve this , anything else you wanna say"
"Actually I do. I hate how we became strangers , you never let me even explain how I felt you just screamed at me and ignored after me that , I didnt feel it was a mistake I just felt it wasn't the right moment"
"Your right and I wanna go back to how we use to be"
"Friends or friends of benefits" I laugh
"I mean if you want to"
I cut him off "dont flatter yourself I was kidding"
"So friends?"
"Friends" I open my arms
"You want a hug?" He laughs
"Yea why not"
"Okay" he wraps his arms around my waist and I wrap my arms around his neck
I get more comfortable and lay my head on his shoulder
And he sighs
"Dont let go yet" I hug him tighter
"I wasn't" he hugs me tighter
