Chapter 14- Kisses and Disses
I knocked on the door of the Lockwood's house.
Mrs. Lockwood smiled and opened it.
"Hey Tatum" she opened it all the way and I walked in.
She shut the door behind me.
"Thank you for coming so last minute. I just have a work meeting".
I shrugged "Ya no problem".
"Zoe! Tatum's here!" Marie yelled up the staircase and Zoe came running down.
She ran up and hugged me "Tatum"! She cheered.
"Hey Zoe" I squated down and hugged her, then standing back up.
I saw River walk in.
He raised an eyebrow "Crawford"?
"Tatum is babysitting Zoe for the night, since I can't leave you with each other, since you're both troublemakers" Marie said.
River smirked "Whatever" and walked away.
Marie sighed and called "River! Come back here!"
River groaned and walked back.
Marie placed her hands on her hips "River I need to talk to you, now".
Then they both went to the kitchen.

I walked into the kitchen and my mom crossed her arms.
"River what's wrong"?
"Nothing" I exclaimed frustrated.
She narrowed her eyes at me "River, don't lie to me".
I sighed "Fine. Its the same thing. I still love her."
She sighed "River-sweetie theirs something more that......that I dont know"?
I rubbed my temples "I kissed Tatum at the Halloween party, when she was drunk".
My mom frowned and hissed "River, she has a boyfriend"!
I rolled my eyes.
My mom said "I have to go, but no chasing her till she is SINGLE, River. Bye". Then walking out.

Marie left.
Zoe asked "May I have something to eat? Pweeasee"?
I smiled and nodded and brought Zoe into thr kitchen.
I saw River sitting in there, frustrated.
"You okay"? I asked
He looked up and his eyes met mine.
"Yeah. I'm fine."
He's not, but I dropped it.
Zoe asked "Can I have.........cereal?
I nodded then picking Zoe up and placing her on the marble counter.
I got a bowl, cereal, spoon, and cereal out.
I gave it to her to eat and she smiled "Thank you!" then eating.
My phone started to buzz.
It was on the kitchen table.
I went to grab it but River did before me.
He smirked and dangled my phone in front of me.
I narrowed my eyes at him.
He looked at it, then looking pissed off.
"It's Jake" he muttered and threw me my phone.
I caught it and answered.
"Hey Babe" Jake said.
"Hey" I replied, putting the milk back in the fridge.
"Want to hang out"? He asked.
"Sorry, can't. I'm babysitting Zoe" I said.
"Oh.....okay. Well another time then".
"Ya, sounds great" I said.
River's eyes bored into mine.
"Ya well I got to go" I said.
"Ok.....Bye Tatum".
"Bye Jake" I said and hung up then sitting my phone in the back pocket off my jeans.

"Let's go!" Zoe cheered as we walked into the park.
She pleaded for River to come, and he eventually gave in.
For a Bad Boy, he's a huge softie for the people he loves.
I walked over to the swings and sat down as Zoe went to the slides, and everything.
River came and sat on the swing next to me.
I watched as Zoe smiled as she walked on a balance bean.
I smiled.
"That kid, is lucky she's cute" River said.
I turned my head to look at him "Must be a Lockwood genetic" I said.
He smirked "Lockwood's"?
"Yep. I mean James is the cutest person in the world" I joked.
He chuckled and slapped my arm.
I turned my attention back to Zoe, she was now playing with a little girl about her age.
"She makes friends so easily" I chuckled.
"Yeah, like someone else I know".
I raised an eyebrow "Who"?
He gave me an are-you-serious look and narrowed his eyes at me "You, idiot".
I rolled my eyes "I do not make friends easily".
"You're kidding right! You could have any guy in the school" River said.
"You're funny" I said "River, you're the one that has girls falling at your feet"!
"I don't care about them" River said.
"Then who do you care about"?
He turned his head to look at me "Theirs one girl I have in mind".
I asked curiously "Who"?
He scoffed and rolled his eyes "You're so oblivious".
"Whatever" I rolled my eyes.
Zoe ran over with her friend.
"Can I go over to Anna's house"?! She asked.
I said "Uhhhh...."
A women in about her 20's came over; Anna's mom I'm guessing.
She smiled "Hi I'm Carol. I'm Anna's mom, it's nice to see you River" she said to River.
He flashed her a smile "You to Mrs. M".
Zoe said "This is Tatum"!
'Carol' looked at me and smiled "Hi, you must be River's girlfriend".
I choked and River smirked and threw his arm around my shoulder "Yep" he said.
My eyes widened.
What is wrong with him?!
Carol smiled "Well you two are a very cute couple".
River then pressed his lips to my cheek and I pushed him away and wiped my cheek "We're not a couple".
She frowned "O my bad, sorry. Well I talked to Marie, and she said that I could take Zoe for a sleepover with Anna tonight".
I said "Oh, okay".
Zoe hugged me "Bye, Tatum"! Then hugging River and he kissed her cheek.

I rolled my eyes as we walked inside.
River dragged me back to his house.
I walked in and froze.
I saw Keira.
She gave me a disgusted look.
"What are you doing here"?! She exclaimed
River walked in and froze "Keira, why are you here"?
"I'm here for you silly poo" she said and walked up to him and pecked his lips.
I rolled my eyes.
Keira looked at me "You sl*t"!
I raised an eyebrow.
She said "I have something for you to see".
She showed me her phone.
My eyes widened.
It was a picture of River and I kissing?!
I looked at River and he bit his lips.
"When the hell did that happen"?! I yelled.
Keira gave a confused looked.
River said "Tatum, I'll explain everything. Just please calm down".
"Hell you're going to tell me everything".
Keira smirked and River got her to leave.
I crossed my arms and waited for River to say something.
He scratched the back of his neck "Well on the Halloween Party..."
I nodded slightly and unfolded my arms.
"Well we kinda of made out..." He said.
"No sh*t sherlock! Who started it"?!
He then grabbed my hands and pulled me closer to him "Tatum, look you were drunk and-".
"So you took advantage of me" I muttered narrowing my eyes at him.
"Tatum, Im sorry. But you kissed me back".
"Because I was drunk"! I yelled and pulled my grip out of Rivers.
I started to walk threw the door when River grabbed my hand and whirled me around "Tatum, just let me to explain".
"You don't get to explain" I said and pulled my hand out of his and walked out.
A://N Sorry for not updating last night! I was busy working at Barnes § Nobles.
Its 6:57 A.M. and I have school...
I don't really have anything to say.
