Nixie:
I have another job interview today at an Italian Restaurant and I'm actually very excited and nervous. I finished fixing up my hair before grabbing my phone. Maybe I should call Louis before I leave. He has an interview today and I have to tell him that I won't be able to watch it. I dialed his number but he didn't pick up. I tried it again but nothing. I looked at the time and I was going to be late. I put my phone on mute and put it in my bag before heading out.

"You got the job" the manager told me with a smile, clasping his hands together.
This manager is definitely way nicer than the manager at that previous perfume shop when I had the little incident.
"Thank you! When can I start?" I asked him.
"Are you able to start right now? At least for the rest of the day?" he asked, making my eye grow wide.
"Of course" I nodded.
"Perfect! Go grab an apron from the back and we'll get started with the basic stuff around here" he told me, pointing towards the back room.
"Thank you" I said while getting up.
I headed towards the back room, reaching for an apron from behind the door.
A girl with short red hair and a nose piercing walked up to me, not even bothering to smile. "You must be new here. Try not to get fired" she said in a bored tone while chewing on her gum, grabbing her apron and walking off while I put mine on.
"Don't pay attention to her. She always likes to bother the new people. She tries to scare them and get them fired. She tried it with me but it didn't work. She thinks she's the best worker her but clearly she's not" a girl with light brown hair and a nice smile called out while walking towards me. "My name is Delma and I'll be your trainer. Here" she said while handing me a notepad and pen.
"I'm Nixie" I introduced myself. "Thank you" I grabbed the notepad and pen.
"Trust me, I know who you are. Louis Tomlinson's girlfriend. I also saw the video of you singing with your friends in Paris. You're all really good" she said while smiling.
"Thanks" I said while smiling back.
"Well, let's go ahead and try attending the first table" she said, nodding towards the table where a couple with two kids were sitting.

Louis' POV:
Zayn quickly noticed the look on my face when suddenly the interviewer brought Nixie's name up, asking me how hard it was to be away from my girlfriend. I tried changing the subject and I started talking about our album instead because I don't need to start crying on live TV right now.

Zayn approached me once the interview was over. I was leaning against the wall on the hallway, eyes glued to my phone.
"Hey" Zayn called out, catching my attention.
I looked up for a second, giving him a small nod of acknowledgement before looking back down at my phone. "I missed Nixie's call, and now I can't speak to her for the rest of the day because she's busy, she's got work interviews and stuff" I said.
"That sucks, man. But don't worry, you'll find some time later" he said, trying to cheer me up while patting me on the shoulder.
I scanned through my phone, looking at photos of Nixie and I together. "You know, I love being on tour and seeing our amazing fans and everything but--I just miss my Nixie so much. Sometimes I just wanna fly home and see her. It feels worst every day" I murmured, scrolling through the pictures.
"I get it, mate. It's hard being away from all of that, from certain people. I miss Lesley too. Just think of how good it's gonna be when you get home though" he encouraged me.
"Yeah" I grinned while thinking about Nixie's reaction when I get back.
"That's it, think of all the good stuff. You think she'll like that you're being sad and depressed all day?" he lightly punched me on the arm.
"No, you're right, she'd hate it, she's always so happy and hyper and she would hate to see me like this" I agreed.
"And would you like it if she spent the whole day crying and being upset over you of all people?" he joked, making me glare at him.
I tackled him and put him in a headlock, ruffling his hair, which I knew he hated.
