-Jeanette's POV-
Triston then arrived at the park.
"Thanks so much Triston" I say
"It was no problem " He says
I smile and then Emma, Logan, Zoe and I headed out to the park
We then stopped at the basketball court where I think Triston was going.
The ball then hits my head. Great. I slowly turn around and say
"You want the ball? Get it." And I threw it to the farthest hoop on the side. I was surprised when I made it.
"I didn't know you were good at basketball" Zoe says
"Yeah me either" I say
I then grabbed a ball and started playing basketball. Logan, Emma and Zoe played along...
- Two weeks later (Wednesday)-
-Jeanette's POV-
Its been at more than two weeks since I've been to this new school. I kinda know everything I need to know about it so that's good. I've skyped Catherine, Josh and Kyle sometimes. We'd have like 1-2 hour calls. *sigh* I want the past back...
I slowly got out of bed, stretching. I then did the usual and got dressed wearing black leggings, a white loose shirt with a mustache on it, white heeled boots, a black blazer and a black beanie. Since it was December, I had to be warm you know.
I then brused my blue hair to the side, untangling all the knots it had because of how bad I slept...
I then added a hint of makeup, covering the bags under my eyes and went downstairs with my backpack and phone of course.
I then saw Alex and my mom
I didn't really say anything I just grabbed an apple, washed it and began to eat it. The only sound that you could hear was Alex's spoon clinking into his cereal bowl and his crunching when he chewed it and the crunch of my apple.
I then took a deep breath and looked at the time. I then walked out the door, signaling Alex to come along.
-Time skip-
I ambled to my locker. I then put my combination and opened my locker. I then saw a note fall out of it. I rose a brow and began to read it.
It read
You will experience the biggest surprise ever. Be prepared. Don't believe me? Just wait and see. - A No just kidding I'm not A from pretty little liars. I just wanted to stay anonymous. Know what fuck it, don't you have a class to get to?
"What the fuck" I say softly so n one could hear me. I looked around. Who the hell could it be? Is it a stalker? Is it a ghost? Am I just imagining? And what is the surprise? I get to meet one direction? The macgon boys? Am I gonna summon satan? Is someone gonna splash holy water on me for just thinking that?
Okay these thoughts are dumb as fuck
I sighed I then say Emma approached.
"Hey Jeanette, you seem... confused " She says
I then look at her handing her the note "Read it"
She slowly grabbed the note and began to read it "Someone's stalking you"
"Em! That's not helping" I say
Emma laughs "I'm kidding. Where did you find this?"
"It fell out of my locker" I say
"It's funny how he or she decided to make you anxious instead of waiting for it to happen." She says
"Ugh. You're right. I'm DYING to know" I say
-Bell rings-
"Bye Jeanette. Don't let the stalker get you" Emma says
"Oh come on!" I say
I entered class and sat down, next to Logan. He was the only one that I technically "knew" in this class.
"Hey what's up Jeanette " He says
"Lots of things." I say and hand him the note "this thing fell out of my locker"
"What the hell" Logan says
"I know. Emma says I have a stalker... but like I'm confused on what kind of surprise it is. A good one? A bad one?"
"Yeah this is weird. Do you believe it?" Logan says
"Should I?" I ask
"I think you should. I mean you never know. I would stay aware" Logan says
"Yeah. Yeah, you're right " I say
Class then begins and I'm still here thinking about if someone gonna die or not.
-Time skip-
I was lost in my thoughts. Day dreaming. Thinking about all the surprises that could happen. I hate surprises. Ugh. I lost track of time.
I then snapped out of it when I heard my teacher yell my name.
"Hmm?" I simply say
"Could you please answer this question?"
"I-I. Er.-" I say but I got interrupted by the bell ringing.
"Jeanette, can I see you for a second?" The teacher says
I then grab my things and walk toward the teacher
"Yes?" I simply say
"Ms. Stewart. Whats wrong. You're never like this."
"Oh. Sorry. I just didn't get much sleep that all."
"Sleepy? You seemed distracted."
"Well. Just know it won't happen again. Promise. Or I'll try" I say
"Okay Jeanette. Take care"
And with that I left.
-Time skip-
It was lunch period. I got my lunch and was then greeted by Triston.
"Hey Jeanette"
"Oh. Hey Triston"
"What's wrong?"
"Ugh why does everyone keep asking that!" I say and then clear my throat "sorry"
"No need to apologize, I know how that feels." Triston says
I sigh "I got a note in my locker saying I will experience a surprise today and I have no idea what it is."
"Thats...strange" Triston says
"Tell me about it"
"Well. I'm gonna head out to Alex. See ya Jeanette " Triston says
"Bye Triston " I say
I then saw Logan and Zoe approach
"Hey Zo, hey Logan. Where's Emma?" I say
"Hey and she's arguing with the lunch ladies because she found hair in her food." Zoe says
"Ew. " I say
"I heard about the note thing. Something about a stalker?" Zoe says
"Its not a stalker. Its probably someone that is wanting to make me anxious." I say
"Whatever." Zoe says
I sigh as I saw Emma walking towards us "Hey Em" I say
"Did they switch your food?" Logan asks
"Hell yeah they did" Emma says
I laugh
"So did you experience you 'surprise' yet?" Emma asks
"Nope. My head hurts just thinking about it" I say
"Well does your brother know about it?" Logan asks
I then got an idea. "Logan. That's it. I can ask my brother and he's terrible at lying to me"
"You're welcome " Logan says
I then smile at him and walk over to Alex.
"Can I talk to you for a sec" I ask Alex "If you're busy I understand"
"Yeah sure what's up?" Alex says
"I got a note in my locker, saying I would experience a surprise today. Do you know anything about this?" I say
"N-n-no I don't. S-sorry" Alex says
I smirk "Liar! Tell me do you or do you not know?"
"No!"
"Tell me!"
"No!"
"Tell. Me!!"
"No"
"Tell mee!"
"Okay fine! I do know about this. But I can't tell you. I'll spoil it." Alex says
"Ugggh fine" I say and walk away back to Logan, Zoe and Emma
"So?" Zoe says
"He said he knows about it but like he can't spoil it because probably my mom bribed him to." I say
"Wow. Well. At least you don't have a stalker" Emma says
"True" I say
-Bell rings-
"Bye guys" I say and take off to my next period
-Time skip-
It was dismissal. Finally. I grabbed my things from my locker and headed to the bus with Alex.
-Time skip-
I entered and found my mom with a huge grin on her face.
"Jeanette sweetheart. Have a seat please" My mom says
Alex began to smile and stood next to my mom. I got nervous.
"Um. Okay now what?" I say
"Jeanette. I have a surprise for you." My mom say
I was at the edge of my seat "Really? What?" I ask impatiently "Close your eyes" She says
I quickly close my eyes
"Come on out guys" my mom says
"Jeanette when I count to three your gonna open your eyes. One, two and three." My mom says
I open my eyes. I couldn't believe my eyes. I blinked a few times to make sure I wasn't dreaming.
"Catherine?! Josh?! Kyle?! What the hell oh my gosh!" I say and got up to hug every single one of them. Tears of joy filled my eyes.
"What the hell are you guys doing here?!" I say
"Surprise!" They all say
I then laugh bringing them into a group hug.
"Mom? Did you do all this?" I asked
"My mom was talking to her about how Josh, Kyle and I wanted to visit. She just made it all happen. She paid for our plane tickets." Catherine says
"But what about school?" I ask
"All the work we missed we get to do it during winter break til January something, which is something I would do anyday to come here" Josh says
I then grin and hug my mom tightly. "Thank you mom. So much."
"You're welcome sweetie."
I then walked over to Josh. I stared deeply in his grey eyes. I noticed he still had the necklace he gave me about a month ago. I smiled. I hugged him. I then messed his shaggy hair up.
"I missed you idiot" I say
"I missed you more" Josh says
"Tell me, how many girls you've dated since I was gone?" I say jokingly
Josh chuckles "Ah let me see. Ah, zero"
"Oh really? Did Becky tried to kiss you again?" I ask
"Oh yeah. But she's in jail now." Josh says
"For?" I ask
"Shooting you. They found her fingerprints on the bullets" Josh says
"Good. That bitch can rot in hell for all I care" I say
"Yeah she's a dumbass."
I chuckle "So hows your family?"
"They're good. They actually miss you. So I think they like you better then me" Josh says
"Please, how could they like me more than they're own son." I say
Josh smiles "I have no idea"
"Your such a geek" I say
Josh chuckles "You have no idea how much I miss you."
I chuckle "You have no idea how much I want to kiss you." I say smirking then walking off to Kyle. Josh had a smirk on his face
I walked to Kyle. I smiled and hugged him.
"I've missed you" I say
"You think I haven't?" Kyle says smiling
"Have you been taking care of Catherine?" I ask
"Of course I have. I love her." Kyle says
"Good. I'm probably gonna need you to take care of Josh but one person at a time." I say chuckling
Kyle smiles "Your sense of humor is one of the things I miss about you"
"I try to be funny. I don't even know if I am anymore." I say
Kyle chuckles "Becky's in jail"
"Yeah I've heard. What about doohickey and dingus?" I ask
Kyle laughs "Who?"
"These bitches Brittany and whatsitsname, Jen." I say
"Ohh" Kyle says laughing "they're just two people without a leader, trying to be nice to people"
"Ohh wow. How come Becky's dad hasn't bailed her out?"
"I don't know. Probably because Becky's dad has a heart so he thought what she did was wrong" Kyle says
"Probably" I say
I then smile at Kyle and walk over to Catherine
"Hey bitch!" We say in unison followed by laughter
"I missed you so much" I say
"So did I! Oh my gosh no one gets me and its so annoying." Catherine says
I chuckle "I see. I mean, I have three, no scratch that, four friends here so far. And I haven't been that "weird" with them yet. They just know me cuz at school. They aren't like you guys who seen me looking like a mega mind zombie."
Catherine laughs "What the fuck is a mega mind zombie"
"Fuck I don't know" I say
"Oh god your weird"
"Thanks. You too" I say
I then hug Catherine and then look at all three of them, still not believing my eyes.
"Wanna go explore California?" I ask
"Yes!" They say in unison
