"I LOVE YOU" -
HARRY:
Your hands move animatedly as you recount the happenings of last night.
'You should have seen it Harry, it was SO brilliant' You narrate, wide-eyed.
Harry smiles as he looks at you, lost in thought.
'And then, guess what happened?' You squeal.
'Iloveyou' He blurts, words all tangled up.
'What?' Not sure if you heard right.
His cheeks go red as he laughs to himself, shaking his head.
'I love you' He smiles.
A genuine, shy, wrinkly smile.
'I love you too' You reply, awed.
He grins coming forward to engulf you in his arms as his lips place themselves on your cheek.
NIALL:
'Babe!' Niall calls at the crack of dawn.
'Hmm?' You mumble sleepily, eyes still shut.
'Y/N' His fingers poking you.
'Mmmm'
'Get up' He leans over, lips next to your ear, bed hair tickling your cheek.
'No'
'I have something to tell you'
'I'm sleeping'
'It's important'
You finally turn towards him, your eyes barely open.
'What?' His eager face greeting you.
'I love you' He smiles, incredibly sure of himself.
As if it were a fact that would never change.
Your heart flutters at his words as you answer with a 'I love you'.
He comes close to kiss you soft, sealing his confession.
ZAYN:
Your phone vibrates, awakening you. Your hands shoot out from under the covers, searching for it.
You're surprised when you see 1 new message from Zayn.
'3 am? That's late' You tell yourself as it opens.
It reads:
Hey babe :) Been thinking of you all day. I know saying this through a text isn't the best but I just wanted you to know, I love you Y/N x
You smile sleepily to yourself, shutting your eyes to fall back asleep without replying. Just so you can re-live this moment when you wake up.
As your hands slip away from the phone, you fall back asleep with a smile lingering on your lips.
LIAM:
'I have to go. I'll text you okay?' You sigh, miles away.
'No! Stay' He answers.
You can almost imagine his puppy-dog face.
'I'm sorry babe, I can't' You answer reluctantly.
You both barely got any time, now that he was on tour. Both your free times never coinciding with the others.
'Alright. Night love. I miss you' He smiles.
'Night Liam, I miss you too' You bite your tongue as an 'I love you' almost slips out your mouth.
You start to inch away from the phone when you hear
'I love you Y/N'
He's silent as he awaits your reply.
You blush as an 'I love you too' escapes your lips.
After you hang up, your eyes remain fixed on the screen as you re-play the lines in your head; heart pounding.
LOUIS:
'Do we celebrate those?' He asks, wiping the dishes.
'Celebrate what?'
'Those little anniversaries. Y'know first kiss and stuff?'
'I dunno. Do you want to?' You smile, as you hand over a plate.
'Yeah. I'd like that. Today's the 21st right?'
'Alright. Yup, why?' You look up from the sink.
'I'll mark that as an anniversary'
'For?' You ask, confused.
'This' He comes closer kissing you; as he moves away he whispers 'I love you'
You gasp, taken by surprise.
You never expected it to come while you were doing something so mundane like washing the dishes.
'I love you too' You smile, leaning forward for another kiss.
