Staring out
Windows
In a state
Of reminisce,
From a certain perspective,
Is pointless.
White curtains stir
Graceful as a bride
Captivating the
Eye. Air
Leaves a frozen
Cage
Around the source
Of this black ink
That has paused
Its flight across
A crinkly,
blue-lined surface.
Each time
The room decides
To take a breath,
There is a glimpse
Of the outside world
Staring
Out windows.
Productive
Or destructive?
There is no sound,
No
Music, still
Tiny wings maintain
Their rhythm
As creatures scurry
Around colorful
Popping sprouts
Of nature.
Staring out windows.
Relaxing
For a stress-driven
Society
Squinting
From the rays
Coming through
The curtains
Time
Ticks
Forward
And all of nature
Is sound.
