"This is it Skul! You got this! Go in there and tell her how you feel! Come on!" Skulduggery whispered to himself and he confidently strolled into the living room where Valkyrie was sat on the couch and when she noticed him she smiled up and Skulduggery immediately regretted his decision but he had to say this now "Valkyrie." he said and started to pace up and down "Ok, now this is not easy to say this since I have know you since you were twelve years old! You have grown into a beautiful young woman and I admire you in many ways so I'm just going to be straight with you and say...I am in love with you. There is no other way to say it and I have loved you ever since you got back from America and it pains me to think you will never love me back. So Valkyrie, I am undoubtedly in love with you." Skulduggery finished and he looked at Valkyrie waiting for a reply when she looked up at him and said "Sorry what was that?" she asked and took her earphones out of her ears. Skulduggery looked at her in disbelief "Um...uh nothing! It doesn't matter!" he said and speed walked out the room. Utterly heartbroken.
I'm sorry this is sooooooooo short but I thought I should atleast update for you guys! I wanted to let you all know that Fauna is recovering from amnesia and I wanted to thank you for 8K READS! THAT IS INSANE! When I started my book I didn't even think I would get 100 reads never mind 8k so thank you all from the bottom of my heart! And again I'm really sorry its so short!
