Mia had been growing concerned. Her period was late by four weeks. She was in the middle of GCSE preperation. It was hard for her to imagine being pregnant, especially since she had been alone during her pregnancy with Evie. She didn't regret anything though. Evie had made her life better. The little girl had brought Mia and Max closer together. Evie's first birthday was approaching. Mia was unable to believe her baby girl would be one.
Skyler had been distant from Tom and he had no idea why. Skyler had found out she was pregnant with their second baby.
That saturday morning Skyler sat with Natalia who was eating her breakfast. Tom came in and kissed his daughter's head. "Look Skyler, I wanna know what's wrong," Tom said. Skyler looked up and sighed.
"Its nothing Tom. I'm sorry for being distant," Skyler replied. Tom wasn't convinced.
"I'm your husband. You can talk to me about anything," Tom told her. Skyler gave Natalia her juice and she decided to tell Tom.
"I'm eight weeks pregnant Tom," Skyler announced. Tom was speechless for a moment but soon regained his composure.
"That's fantastic!" Tom exclaimed. Skyler smiled as Tom pulled her up from the chair and kissed her. "I love you so much Skyler," Tom said.
"I love you too Tom."
Mia was pacing the bedroom floor. If she was pregnant then she would lose a lot of GCSE preperation. She needed to know. Max came up into the bedroom. "Are you okay?" He asked. Mia smiled and nodded.
"I'm great. Can you keep an eye on Evie? I need to pop out," Mia said. Max nodded.
"Of course. Anywhere nice?"
Mia shook her head. "No, I just need to do something," Mia replied. Max kissed her and went back downstairs.
Mia had bought the pregnancy test. She had decided to take the test in the public toilets. When the test had been taken Mia had to wait three minutes for the result. Mia's phone had gone off which meant the time was up. Turning the pregnancy test over she saw the result -
'Positive'
Mia tried to hold back the tears but she needed to cry. Sighing to herself she would tell Max when she got home. It was his baby so he had a right to know.
When Mia returned home she saw Tom and Skyler were there. Entering the house she heard Evie giggling. Max came out of the living room. "Are you okay?" Max asked. Mia smiled and nodded.
"I'm fine. I need to talk to you though," Mia replied. Max frowned and took her to one side.
"Is everything okay?"
Mia sighed and looked at him. "I'm pregnant," Mia told him. They didn't know that Tom and Skyler had overheard them.
"You're pregnant?" Skyler asked. Mia turned and nodded.
"Yeah, I did the test when I went out," Mia said. Skyler grinned and hugged Mia.
"I'm pregnant too," Skyler told her. Mia smiled.
* 6 Months Later*
Mia and Skyler were both heavily pregnant. It was the first time that anyone had seen Mia pregnant as she left before her bump became evident when she was pregnant with Evie.
Mia and Skyler were both having girls. They hadn't come up with names for their daughters though.
That morning Mia was feeling sick. Max noticed and was worried about her. "Look, stay here today. You need the rest," Max said. Mia nodded.
"I'll ask Skyler to come over."
Max nodded and pulled her closer to him. "If you need anything then call me," Max told her. Mia smiled.
"Max, I'll be fine," Mia said.
A couple of hours later, Mia and Skyler were sitting on the sofa while Evie and Natalia played. "Mama!" Evie said. Mia looked up and smiled.
"Hey baby."
Evie giggled and finished playing.
Max pulled up outside his house. He wanted to check on Mia and Skyler. Entering the house he saw Evie standing at the bottom of the stairs. "Dada!" Evie squealed. Max smiled at his daughter before entering the living room.
Mia was having intense stomach pains. She didn't notice Max had walked in. "Mia, are you okay?" Skyler asked. Mia looked up and shook her head.
"No I'm not," Mia replied. Max and Skyler frowned. Max walked over to her.
"What's wrong?" Max asked.
"I think I'm in labour," Mia admitted. Max was shocked but Skyler spoke.
"My waters have just broke,".....
