I am afraid of it all (POEM)

I am afraid of it all

I'm afraid of the chair

It'll purposely tip backwards and I'll fall

I'm afraid for my hair

It was once very very tall

I'm afraid of the tress

I feel like they can see me

I'm afraid of the moth

That sits so elegantly on top of the cloth

I'm afraid of the lights

In fear that it might cause a fight

I'm afraid of the floor

In the mans ugly store

I'm afraid of him

And that terrible sin

I'm afraid of her

And her long sleek black fur

I'm afraid of it all

Getting kidnapped in the mall

Eating poisonous icecream at the stall

Afraid of that ongoing hall

That will lead to my tragic and mistaken fall

I'm afraid of it all

And even the bag

Because it might turn into a scary old hag

I'm afraid of how they look at me

As if they can see

I'm afraid of how it'll end

Those horrible creatures they send

But mostly

I'm afraid of how they'll react

When they know what I lack

When they see the old white cat

At the foot of the bed

Wearing a cute red hat

On it's furry tiny head

"She'll wind up dead"

He said
