GRAYSONS POV
We were all at the local lake just chilling like villains on the dock looking into the deep water and the water was perfect and the weather was even more perfect so we just sat around until Ethan said "hey let's take a swim " and Danielle shook her head "I don't want to get wet" she said a little too fast and she sounded scared
Alison laughed and jumped into the water and I smiled at her ..... Yeah I have a crush on her ..but I think she wants us to be just friends but I think she is perfect in every way and I think Ethan and Danielle have decided that they are best friends ... Sure the only problem is that Ethan asked Britney to be his girlfriend when he asked her to the dance .... I don't like her
DANIELLES POV
okay the truth is ... I don't know how to swim ... I have never liked the water it's my only fear but I'm safe on this dock with Grayson who is staring at Alison
I sat there thinking about that Britney chick cause something seemed off about her she didn't even look like a good person it was something in her eyes that just didn't seem right and almost unnaturalit just freaks me out but I guess she is cool
My thoughts were interrupted by Grayson who picked me up and said "time to go in mrs I don't want to get wet" and next thing I knew I was in the air and I screamed "I can't swim " and I hit the water and went under and started sinking and I was kicking and moving my arms but it was no use
I heard screams but black spots were clouding my vision and I thought to myself "how many times am I gonna end up unconscious this year" and the world went to black
ETHANS POV
I saw Danielle go into the water and I heard her scream " I can't swim" and I said "I CANT SEE HER" and Alison said "GO" and I dove into the water and she was pretty deep and I saw her not moving and I swam down and wrapped my arm around her waist and pulled her up
We got to the surface and she started coughing and gasping and when she calmed down she noticed that we were still in the water and started freaking out like her breathing got really fast and I looked her in the eyes and said "hey calm down I'm here to help you" and she nodded ... Wow I have never seen her like this
We both sat on the dock and I said "how come you can't swim?" And she looked at me "I have always been afraid of the water" I looked at her and asked "why?" And she said "cause when I was 6 my 13 year old sister drowned " and I felt my face soften
Me and Alison and Grayson all made a group hug "well don't worry we can be your family" Alison said and she laughed "don't worry you are" she said and I smiled but that was cut short by the ground shaking and we stood up and I saw a huge monster thing in the water and I backed up and almost fell but Danielle grabbed my arm and pulled me up
The monsters head came above water and is was scaly and gross and its laser red eyes landed on us . We took off running and we almost made it off the dock but he flipped it with us on it and we all landed in the water and I saw Danielle under the water with fear in her eyes
I swam down to her and wrapped my arm around her waist and pulled her out of the water and climbed onto the beach thing and we took off running
And we ran back into the woods and on the trail we saw the teacher for the kids 12 and below and she said "oh hello might I ask why you four are running" and I said "um just racing home mr beckonblossom " and she laughed "oh and children I know it's just September but in December we are having a huge Christmas festival for the kids and I was wondering if you could help" I smiled and we all said "sure" and then she said "well okay I will see you kiddies at the dance tomorrow night right?"
We all froze and Alison said "oh yeah well we have to go but we shall see you there" and mrs beckonblossom smiled a jolly smile and we took off running
DANIELLES POV
I was the first in the house and I ran to the room and I yelled "JOSH!" And he appeared "is that fear?" He asked and I said "what's with the huge godzilla in the lake?" And he laughed "that is your next task young brave heart you have to drop a crystal into the water to freeze him to death" I stood there and said "and where do I get this crystal" and he said "the ice cave in the mines and you might need these" he handed me a necklace that had my birthstone and said "it is magic and it give powers just imagine what you want it to do but it can't do anything extreme "
I smiled "sweet " I said and he handed me three other necklaces and a pick axe and a backpack and a little box with four shots like you would get from the doctor and they were glowing green" why do we need flu shots?" He laughed " well you see there is a powerful enemy who will try to poison you with darts and if he hits you this will help a lot but you have to wait for them to pass out from the poison and be warned it will only work 1 out of 10 times and these make you immune "I nodded and turned and I walked upstairs
I handed out the necklaces and I put the backpack on and I told everyone the mission and we started walking to the other side of town
ALISONS POV
Me and Danielle started counting trees and I tripped over a rock and said "crap" and Danielle laughed and I said "your such a number two pencil" and she gave me this look and laughed some more and Grayson came up beside me and Ethan was beside him and he said "so how long will this take ?" And Danielle said "not long why?"
Ethan then said "I have a date with my girl friend tonight and I can't be late " and Danielle said "girlfriend?" And he smiled "yeah Britney I asked her out and she said yes " Danielle smiled big and said "you go Ethan that's fantastic " I look at her with sympathy and she smiled
"Really?" He asked and she said "totally " and then said "and this shouldn't take long" and he smiled and I saw Danielle looking at the road while we walked
we walked to the mine and I saw the dark mines and I saw Danielle close her eyes and a ball of glowing light appeared in her hand and we all followed "I'm never gonna get used the the whole we are guardians with magic supply's thing" Grayson said while poking his ball of light and I laughed
We walked in and after five minuets the temperature dropped and we saw the ice cave and we walked in and I saw a white crystal in the middle and I walked up but the ground shook and I saw a person made of ice with a dart gun and I ran back and Danielle threw a ball of fire but she made an ice shield and I gasped and we turned and ran up some stairs and she followed and I turned and we were at a dead end
She loaded the gun with a really dark green dart and Grayson pushed me behind him and Danielle looked around and the chick shot a dart at Grayson but I pushed him and it hit my arms and I felt weak all over and dizzy "NO ALI!" Grayson yelled and I fell back but he caught me and laid me on the ground
And Danielle made a fire ball and hit a spike right above the ice chick and it fell and crushed her and we saw a heart shaped crystal ...... Her heart is a magic crystal ... Cool
Danielle picked it up but it was all a blur and all I see is Grayson with tears in his eyes and I laid there weakly dying in his arms and Danielle and Ethan are crying too and I said "b..be carful guys ... Those darts hurt like a mother " Grayson shook his head and put a hand on my cheek "Danielle don't try to always be the hero ... You won't be able to save everyone " I said and I saw tears falling down her cheeks and I said "and Ethan never lose sight on what's important to you " and he nodded and I said "and Grayson .... Never forget how special you are to me ... Okay?" I said and he nodded "okay " he said
I felt very weak and I said "I love..." But I never got to finish cause I passed out
ETHANS POV
Grayson started crying while holding Alison and Danielle pulled a shot out of her back pack and ran up and moved graysons hand and he said "woah what are you doing" and she said "saving your girlfriend cause I had to wait for her to pass out before I could cure her " she said and she stuck the shot deep into Alison's arm and the second she did Alison's eyes opened and Grayson sat there is shock and Alison said "ya know you could have done that five minuets ago and I would have been fine "
Grayson hugged her and she smiled and mouthed "never mind " and I laughed and Danielle said "oh and we all have to get one to be immune to the poison " and I froze and shook my head and She pulled the other three out and And stuck the needle in her own arm and gave herself the shot and i said "what are you doing?" And She said "giving everyone a shot" and my eyes went wide and She walked up to Grayson and he stuck his arm out so She gave him the shot
She walked up to me and I backed up and she said "it's okay I am making sure that nothing happens to you" and I looked at her and about that time she pinched me on a nerve in my neck and I passed out
DANIELLES POV
Ethan backed up and I said "it's okay I am making sure nothing happens to you" and he looked at me and I lunged and pinched a nerve in his neck making him pass out and I caught him and laid him down and i said "I'm sorry that just sounded really fun in my head " and Grayson and Alison laughed and I bent down and gave him the shot
I then bent down and I poked his cheek and he groaned and woke up and I said "well good morning sleeping beauty " "good morning Prince Charming" he said and I smiled and I helped him up and we walked out of the ice cave to see a couple miners and they jumped and I said "have you seen a black puppy?" And they shook his head "he ran down this way and we can't track him" I said and they nodded and said "no but you need to go ... We will tell you when we find it" I smiled "her ... Thank you" and walked out with the others close behind me
We get back to the house and Ethan runs up to his room and I looked at Alison and laugh and we sit down and I say "okay I can make pasta" and Grayson and Alison nodded and I said "sounds good" Grayson said and I put the apron on and my mom for cooking around Halloween put a fire pit with a cauldron on top in the back yard to cook so of course I used that to make the pasta
I was sitting there stirring when I heard Ethan say "knock knock " and I turned and smiled and he looked super good like .... Really good ... Stop it you guys are just friends
ETHANS POV
I put on a white dress shirt with some regular pants and I brush my teeth and look at myself in the mirror again to make sure I'm not missing anything and I smiled and said "this is going to be fun"
I walk down stairs to see Danielle cooking with the huge Halloween pot and I smiled and I walk out there and say "knock knock " and she turns and smiles and with the fire and the moon she looks breath taking and she walks up and fixes my collar "wow sleeping beauty you look nice" she says and I see a smirk appear on her face and I smiled and said "I try and might I ask what kind of potion you are making" she smiles "well is was a toss up between a love potion and a death potion so I made pasta" she said in a calm voice and I smile
I hear Alison come out and say "hey your ride is fixed and it's 8 " and I gasped "well so long Prince Charming .. Until we meet again" I say as I walk away and I walk out to see that Alison had polished and cleaned my dads motor cycle and Grayson fixed it ... I mean yeah we all have our own motorcycles but this one looks cooler and I have to look good for Britney
I pull up to her house and she walks out in a black tank top and a really fancy sweater thing that went down to her knees and she was wearing skinny jeans and sneakers and she got on and said "this is cool" and I smiled as we road to the restaurant
