Brody was still waiting for my answer. I looked at him one last time and said "yes".
"The reason I am in this adoption home is because my parents used to beat me. They woul beat me every chance they got because of a dumb reason".
I interrupted Brody I am so sorry. I have a question though. If your parents beat you the why would they bring you to an adoption center?
"They died in a car crash I was going to live with my aunt and uncle ,but they don't want me because my parents told all my family that I was bad news and that is why I had all the scars not because they beat me and they all believed them".
When did they start beating you I asked.
He had a sad look on his face.
You don't have to answer I am so sorry I am putting you through this we can talk about something else if you would like.
"It's fine the first one to beat me was my dad".

Brody's POV
I was so excited my family was finally going on our yearly camping trip. Every year a week before school starts we go on a camping trip as a family.
My dad walked in with a mad and scary look on his face.
"What are you smiling at" he mumbled.
I am very excited for our camping trip aren't you dad?
"We are not ping to that stupid camping trip" he said before slapping me across the face.
Then my mom walked in and saw me crying.
"What happened" she asked.
"I need to talk to you" my dad said so they left the room.
About 15 minutes later they come out of the living room and my mom walk up to me and grabs a bottle and knocked it against my head and that is the last thing I remember before I blackened out.
*end of flashback
That must have been terrible have you ever tried talking to someone about it I asked.
"My old school guidance counselor knew but that was before my parents found out and hurt me more and somehow got her fired" he said sadly.
Well I think you should try telling someone here maybe they will believe you.
"NO please don't tell anyone or I may end up dead".
That was the last thing he said to me before walking away to who knows where.
