Chapter 12

We finished watch every Spiderman movie we could find.
Leila: Do you feel better now?
Zach: Yeah but I still feel like I let you down.
Leila: But you didn't so don't think like that.
Zach: What time is it?
I checked my phone
Leila: It's 9:46
Zach: Oh shit I have to broadcast.
Leila: I know you do now smile and broadcast for the people who love seeing you happy.
I have Zach a kiss and went downstairs. An hour later Zach came downstairs. He kissed me. We went up stairs and Zach played Call of Duty: Black ops on his X-box and I was sitting on his bed. My phone buzzed. It was a text from Katie. It said " Hey I'm outside you house and I need to talk to you NOW!"
I went across the street to my house.
Leila: What do you need to talk about?
I was still mad at Katie. She sat down on my porch.
Katie: I'm pregnant.
Leila: How do you know?
Katie pulled out a pregnancy test from her pocket. The test said positive.
Leila: Are you sure your not just on your period?
Katie: No I'm not I just had it 2 weeks ago.
Leila: Who is the father?
Katie: I don't know.
Leila: How do you not know?
Katie: I had sex with 4 different guys.
Leila: Why did you need me?
Katie. Because I wanted to see if you and Zach would be the Godparents.
Leila: Let me check with Zach.
We walked across the street to Zach's house and went upstairs to his room. I knocked on the door.
Zach: Come in.
I opened the door and had Katie come in after me. When Zach saw Katie come in he moved away from her.
Zach: Why is she here?
Leila: Just hear her out. Katie tell Zach what you told me.
Katie: I love you.
Leila: Wait you did not tell me that.
Katie: I know the pregnancy test was my moms and I needed to see Zach again because he never texted e bac after our sex sesh.
Katie pushed me out the way and I fell on the floor. She grabbed Zach with enough strength to pull him off the ground. She pushed him against the wall and started kissing him. I got off the ground and pulled Katie away from Zach but she hit me and went back to kissing Zach then he pushed her off of him and I grabbed her and pinned her on the ground. She tried to get up but she couldn't.
Leila: Call the cops.
Zach picked up his phone and dialed 911. A few minutes late Zach went downstairs and opened the door. When Zach came back upstairs with the police Katie was on top of me and she was punching me and slapping me . When she saw the officer and got off of me and said
Katie: Ow why would you hit me?
The officer could tell she was lying because he saw her hitting me. My nose was bleeding. Zach got me tissue from the bathroom. When he came back in he looked at my face. I had scratches and cuts all over my face hand and arms. The officer arrested Katie.
Leila: I never should have trusted her.
Zach: Let's not worry about her she's not our problem. Let's just get you cleaned up.
Leila: How bed is it?
Zach: Really bad.
Leila: I can feel it.
Zach helped me up and took me to the bathroom. He washed the blood off of my face and hands. He gave me a towel and got me bandages. My arm had really hurt. Something was poking out of my arm. Zach came back in the bathroom with the bandages. He looked at my arm and dropped the bandages
Zach: what happened to your arm?
My face was drenched in tears.
Leila: I think it's broken.
Zach: Let me call my mom and have her meet us at the hospital.
Zach called his mom and then the ambulance. The came to the door and Zach answered the door. They came upstairs to the bathroom where I was sitting on top of the closed toilet. They looked at my arm and my face. They took me and Zach in the back of the ambulance. I went into the hospital room and thirty minutes later Apryll came in to the room.
Apryll: What the hell happened?
Leila: Katie happened.
Zach: The police arrested her though.
Apryll: Good.
The doctor came in with my X-rays
Doctor: So your arm is broken. Are you her legal guardian?
Apryll: No her parents are out of town I am watching her.
Doctor: Does her legal guardian know this happened?
Apryll: Yes I called them on the way here.
Leila: How long will I need a cast?
Doctor: 6-9 weeks.
Apryll: When will she get her surgery to get it fixed?
Doctor: Since her arm is completely out of place we are going to do it tonight. As soon as the nurse comes in here.
Apryll: Are we allowed to stay in here while you guys are doing the surgery?
Doctor: Yes.
Zach was still comforting me whil they were talking. The nurse walked in.
Nurse: We are going to give you some anesthesia.
She put a mask over my face and turned on a machine that sprayed the anesthesia. I started to feel tingly then I fell asleep. A little while later I woke up. They had wrapped my arm with a cast. The nurse was still there and Zach and Apryll were sleeping on a chair.
Nurse: What color of wrap for your cast do you want?
She showed me 10 different colors.
Leila: Can I get light blue?
Nurse: Sure.
She picked up the light blue cast tape and put it around my cast. The cast was really tight around my arm. Zach woke up and walked over to the hospital bed I was on( i don't know what there called.)
He kissed me on my for head.
