Chapter 26
Taylor:
I shook as I tried to button my coat up. Today was the day, my wedding. The day I get Danielle all to my self, forever and always. There was a knock on the door and I cursed silently as my hand slipped from my coat.
"You look handsome" Autumn stated
"Thanks, uh, do you think you could" I said motioning to my tie. She smiled.
"of course bro. Don't want her taking off cause you look all shaggy looking." I chuckled.
"I doubt she would leave cause of how I look" She nodded thoughtfully.
"true."
"How is she?" I asked out of curiosity. I could feel her anxiety through our bond.
"She's fine. Not as nervous as you are though" she stated with a smirk. I nodded and took a deep breath looking in the mirror at me in a full tux. I hadn't worn one of these since my brothers marriage.
"Everything is going to be fine Taylor. Just calm down. I love you and I love Danielle. The fates put you with an amazing mate. You guys have two amazing kids together. There is no reason to stress now." She was right. I knew all of this and yet I was still nervous that she was going to run away...again.
"Thanks little sis" I said kissing her forehead. She smiled.
"Now you go welcome people and stand in your spot while I get your mate ready to go" I nodded and made my way out of my office and into the backyard where people would be waiting right about now. The backyard was packed. No pun intended. My pack, and a few other packs where here to celebrate with us.
"Thank you for coming Alpha Norris." I said, he smirked.
"No problem. My Luna seems to be attached to yours" he said. I smiled.
"yes she does seem to have that effect on everyone."
"Alpha night?" I turned to see Alpha Chase standing there.
"Alpha Chase. Thank you for coming"
"No problem, I may have only met your mate in the woods that once but it was a pleasure." I nodded.
I began to get impatient all of the guest had arrived and I was standing in my spot weighting. Jace , my third in command was the one to marry us. Danielle thought I would make me feel honored and less hurt that I picked Alex as my best man. He was standing there with papers in his hand trying to memorize them with out having to look at them. He was bouncing like a kid who just had seven soda's and pixie sticks.
"Are you nervous?"Alex asked from beside me. I shook my head.
"I was to start with but now I'm just ready to be done with it, because once its done, she's all mine." Alex chuckled and nodded.
"I understand." Suddenly the music started to play and out came my niece Debbie and my cousin Brentley. Debbie was tossing flowers to each side. Brentley was holding the pillow that held our rings. The doors closed once more and then a new song began to play. Everyone stood up. The doors opened, and she began to walk out. I gasped slightly at the beauty that walked before me.
Danielle:
Today is my wedding. That thought hit me like a tone of bricks. Today I would no longer be Danielle Moonstone. I would forever be Danielle Night. I loved the ring to it. My wolf purred in delight at the thought of forever being Taylor's.
"Aunty Autumn told us to wake you" Bentley said drawing my attention to the two kids sitting in my bed. I smiled at them.
"Well go tell Aunty Autumn I'm awake then."
"Your not going to take me being flower girl away from me are you" Debbie asked.
"Why would I do that?"
"because I was going to have tony lick your face" She replied innocently. I laughed.
"no sweetie your still my flower girl now run along and find your aunt for me."
"Yes ma'am" they both said together and ran out of the room. I took a deep breath and laid back looking at the ceiling.
"I can do this" I whispered.
"yes you can" a voice said in the door way scaring the crap out of me. I jumped from where I was laying into a sitting position.
"Don't do that Derek, you scared the crap out of me." He chuckled.
"I know sis, Autumn sent me to tell you to take a shower and get dressed we have to be at the hair salon any minute now." I nodded and jumped out of bed.
When I got the the bathroom I smiled at my reflection. I reached up and touched my mark. It seemed like only yesterday I was sent to live here by Maggie and Officer O'Connell. Everything was so different from then to now. I felt whole. I was finally complete no longer missing that puzzle piece in my life.
I hopped in the shower letting the hot water work the nerves and knots out of my muscles. Once the shower water had turned cold I jumped out of the shower and pulled on a pair of shorts and a tank top. I walked out to see autumn tapping her foot impatiently.
"Well come on , we can't stand around all day, my sister in law might get mad if we don't hurry" I said ushering her out. Her jaw dropped.
"Do you have any idea how freaking long you were in there! Half an Hour!" she snapped at me. I rolled my eyes. She sighed.
"lets just get to La' Beretta" she stated.
The car ride was filled with her and Olivia fighting over how my hair should be. When we got there my mom and Taylor's mom where waiting out side. I noticed my kids weren't with them. I started to feel worried. Did something happen to them?
"Hello dear" Taylor's mom said once I stepped out of the car.
"Hey, where are the kids" I asked them.
"their with your father sweetie, you didn't think we would take them here did you" I sighed.
"I guess not, just miss them is all"
"Well you have tons of time with them after today" She said I nodded.
"your right"
We walked into the building it smelled of strong hair supplies and sweat. It was clean though very clean, everything a bright white.
"Welcome Welcome" said a high pitch mans voice. A tiny man came out from the back wearing a white long v neck shirt with a black vest over it and black pants.
"My name is David, but you can call me Bubba. Its divine to see you Luna" he said kissing my hand and then he peeked over at Derek.
"Well hello handsome" he said winking at him. Derek took a step back. I laughed he was totally getting hit on by a gay guy.
"Well we are on a time frame here so lets get going" my mom said.
"Oh yes ma'am" he pulled me towards a styling chair and began to work on my hair. Then another man came and started to work on my nails.
When it was all said and done I was pampered beyond belief. My hair was done in loose girls and pinned half way up. My nails a beautiful french tip with dark blue swirls.
"Ready to go sweetie?" my mom asked. I nodded as I smiled at my reflection.
"yea I think I am."
When we got back to the house I was instantly pushed into a room telling me that Taylor was about to pass by and couldn't see me until the ceremony. Once he had passed they yanked me back out and pulled me up stairs.
"rude" I muttered.
"Oh hush, we are just trying to make sure everything is perfect" autumn Chastised me.
"I know and thank you for that" she nodded.
"Now Olivia and Sarah are going to help you with your dress. I have to make sure everything is going okay with Taylor." I nodded.
"Autumn" I called out to her as she was about to leave. She turned to me with an eyebrow raised.
"Thank you"
"what are sisters for" She shrugged and then left. I smiled.
Olivia, Sarah and Cameron began working on me. Olivia did my make up first doing a smokey eye. Sarah made sure my hair stayed in place. Cameron placed my dress on with the help of all three girls. I smiled as I looked at my self in the mirror. Now all that was left was going out there. My nerves began to take a toll. I could feel Taylor's as well.
"Its time" Autumn said coming into the room. I nodded. My dad walked into the room his eyes lit up when he saw me.
"You look beautiful Danielle" I blushed.
"Thanks dad"
He held his arm out for me. We went into the hall and into the kitchen that lead to the back yard. The music started, Debbie and Bentley made their way out. A few moments later the next song started and I began walking out. Taylor looked shocked at how I looked. A deep blushed coated my cheeks as I began getting closer. My dad was keeping a good hold on my arm.
Each step was like torture. I wanted to be near him. To have him holding me. Ten more steps I thought to my self. When we stopped in front of him. My father kissed my cheeks and then placed my hand in his. The tingles erupted through out my body. I shivered at the tingles.
I turned to Jace who was standing there with a smile spread across his face. Taylor smiled down at me and back up at Jace. Everyone in the crowd took their seats.
"Ladies and Gentlemen we are gathered here on this lovely day to join the two lives of this lovely Couple. If there is anyone who would like to object to this Marriage then please speak now or forever hold your balls in fear that my alpha will rip them off." I narrowed my eyes at him. I felt Taylor chuckle from beside me. Everyone in the ground gave a short laugh.
"Nothing, good." he said taking a deep breath almost as if he had expected someone to say they object.
"Every now and then I have had to ask my self. Do I really want a mate. That was until I saw the way Taylor looked at Danielle. I have never wanted anything more now than to find my mate. Taylor looks at Danielle as if she is his friend, love, and life, and Dido with Danielle. Now each of the couples with say their vows." He said gesturing to Taylor. Taylor took the ring from Alex and slid it on my find at the same time I took the ring from Autumn and slid it on his.
"Danielle-" he began but was suddenly interrupted by a ear wrenching howl.
We all turned towards the noise. Standing a mile away was Alpha Officer O'Connell and a very large group of rogues. Maybe around a hundred or two of them. Taylor and I snarled at the same time. How dare they try something like this on our wedding day.
"I object!" O'Connell snarled with a cocky smirk. I narrowed my eyes at him.
"Your objection is noted and not really cared for. So get you and your filthy rogues of this land. This is your last warning." I snapped, growls from my pack echoed in agreement. He let out a deep chuckle.
"Your threat means little to me. I'm going to get what I came for." he stated and he made a hand signal. Suddenly rogues came at us in all directions.
"Kill them, leave non spared" Taylor snarled through mind link.
"yes Alpha" they said in unison.
I slipped out of the wedding dress, Taylor's eyes flicked to me and his eyes darkened in lust. He bent down and slipped my garter off. He kissed the inside of my thy.
"Just us once this is done" he whispered. I nodded and then we broke apart and phased to protect our pack. I let out a gruesome snarl. I let my jaw lock on the neck of a rogue and tore its head off. I spat the head out and turned to survey the area.
A few yards away a rogue had Autumn Pinned to the ground its teeth ripping into her stomach. She let out a loud pain filled howl. I snarled, no body hurt my family and got away with it. I ran at the wolf and it turned its head and gave a scary smile. I jumped at it. The wolf knocked me to the ground. Its body was slightly smaller than mine but it was strong.
We circled each other making sure neither of us had the advantage. I growled and lowered my body. It frowned for a split second then jumped for me. I nipped at the front paw before rolling under its belly. I bit into its tail as I ripped its stomach open.
It fell to the ground. Its blood was pouring out. I knew it wasn't dead...yet. I turned to autumn whose eyes were starting to droop.
"NO!" I screamed in my mind. "Get me the pack doctor now! Get the wounded in the pack house. Jayson make sure she gets the wounded in safely."
"Yes Luna" he called out.
I noticed Taylor being surrounded. The numbers had dropped drastically on both sides. We were lucky they came today. Jace was fighting near him. I didn't know if we were winning or not but I knew if I dead I wanted to be married to Taylor.
"Jace" I said through mind link as I helped Taylor by attacking some of the Rogues around him.
"yes Luna" he struggled to say as he was trying to concentrate.
"Marry us" I shouted. His eyes snapped to mine once he killed the rogue he was working on.
"Are you mad! We are in the middle of war!" I snarled, Taylor was looking at me lovingly and also like I was insane.
"If I or Taylor die, I want us to be married! Now Marry us dammit!" I snarled again. He sighed.
"Ah what the hell" he shouted in excitement as he slammed his large paw on another wolf's head.
"Do you Taylor Night take Danielle to have and to hold in sickness and in health for as long as you both shall live?" He asked. Taylor gripped the neck of the guy next to him and slung him into the tree line making him hit the trunk of a hundred year old tree.
"I do" he smiled at me his tongue coming out the side of his mouth.
"And do you Danielle Moonstone take Taylor to have and to hold in sickness and in health as long as you both shall live?"
"I do" I shouted in excitement.
Jace jumped over me and hit another wolf with another wolfs head. Then kicked his back leg into the private area of another wolf.
"Then by the power vested in me by the internet. I now pronounce you Husband and wife. You may kiss each other in gross affection" I rolled my eyes and licked Taylor's face. He did the same to mine. The sound of cheers in our head was loud from our pack.
We went back to fighting focus on winning. When the final rogue was killed we all rejoiced. Everyone phased back and got dressed. I was changed into the after party dress that Autumn had gotten me. I kissed Taylor instantly getting my real wedding kiss.
"Autumn" Taylor and I said at the same time.
We ran towards the infirmary but we were stopped by Taylor's mom.
"Autumn may not make it." she said in a sad grave tone.
"DANIELLE" my mom shouted. Great what else could have gone wrong.
"What is it?" I asked concerned and irritated.
"Your kids are missing" thats when I saw red!
