My heart started to race as I looked at him. He seemed hurt and upset but I didn't know what to do,my head was throbbing and my mind was racing. "Jeremy..I-I.." "Save it Clara. I'm done." He stormed out and got into his car.
I looked at Damon and he smirked a satisfied grin. "You knew he was coming back tonight didn't you!?How could you!?" He simply nodded and into the other room. "Fine." I said as I grabbed my things. "I'm leaving and I'm not coming back. You are nothing to me anymore." I stormed out and went to find Jeremy.
I pulled into Elena's about ten minutes later and went to the door. "Jer?" I said pleeding as I waited on him to answer. My phone kept buzzing but I just wanted to talk to Jeremy. He finally opened the door about five minutes later. "What?" he said holding a beer in his hand,frowning."I'm sorry." I said with tears running down my face. "Please let me explain.." He just stared at me until he walked back to the couch,leaving me stranded outside staring in at him. "Jeremy,please come talk to me." I couldn't come in because I had to be invited in. He just looked at me blankly as I sat down outside. "I guess I'll just sit out here then.." It was starting to get chilly so he finally let me in and shut the door.
"Why didn't you just come in like a normal person?" He said.
"It's not that easy" I sighed as I sat down.
"What are you some kind of scary old vampire lady now?" He laughed.
I just sat there looking down with tears in my eyes. "Not by choice."
"Clara you aren't..You can't be.."
I pulled down my shirt to show the now scarred marks. "It happened while you were away.."
He just stared at me in disbelieve.
I took it as a perfect time to start explaining tonight.
"Damon knew you were gone so he got me drunk tonight and made out with me." Which is pretty much what I thought happened tonight. "So I'm sorry,you are the only person I want to be with..I'm so so so sorry Jer..please forgive me.."
"Get out." He said as he stood. "Please,just get out."
I looked at him and nodded holding back tears. "Fine" I said throwing my heart necklace he had given me on our one month anniversary at him,missing his head by an inch. "You don't have to worry about me ever again."
I stormed out and back to my place. I didn't care about anyone or anything at this point,I guess those were the good qualities of being a vampire. Being able to just shut off your emotions.
